Another great experience. This is for takeout. I wanted to try something a little different than the summer rolls or the PHO. I did a little digging and figured out what the difference was between the chow mein and the chow fun. I opted for the house chow mein. Their packaging is always on point. They keep the main proteins and sauce away from the noodles. All of the sauces and utensils were in the bag. The beef, chicken and shrimp or delicious as well the sauce. Pho Thanh Binh is a rare find: authentic Vietnamese food deep in South OC. This family-owned spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, they have a casual setup with a good amount of seating as well. For their menu, they have a solid selection of noodle, soup, and rice dishes to choose from. Wifey and I stopped by for dinner and opted to try the Com Tom Thit Nuong Cha Gio (Rice Plate with Grilled Pork, Shrimp, and Egg Roll) and the Pho Combination. The food came out super fast and the pho broth was valid off the first sip! Everything was well packaged for a delivery; no spills or leaks. It did not sacrifice taste even though it's far from the Vietnamese community. They offer 3 sizes for pho ranging from $11-$15. The pho was decent, the oxtail was on the smaller end and not as tender but it had so much meat! It was like eating ribs. Salt and pepper pork chops were sweet and super oily. Not good. Garlic fried chicken wings didn't have any flavor and didn't take like garlic at all. Waste of money and calories.
