DO NOT GET PHO FROM HERE. The bean sprouts and basil was wilted and brown. The soup broth was nasty. There are better pho places in Columbus. His service is terrible. No wonder his ratings have gone down. The portions and food quality has drastically declined over the past 2 years. The pho is so overpriced. Other places in Columbus give you more for less money and better quality side vegetables that go with the traditional pho soup. read more

This place has awesome Chinese food. Thai is fantastic, but Chinese food is great also.

Everything here is good and the service is outstanding! I like to try something new each time and it never disappoints. Thanks to the many honest reviews posted here, I've been wanting to try out this restaurant for a long time now after driving past it on a weekly basis to get to my buddy's place. I've only had Thai food a few times before this, the last time being at the Asian fest downtown Columbus in the summer of 2012. So, being my 41st b-day, I chose Thai Paradise to celebrate at with my family after I did a little bit of research on the restaurant with the many well-received reviews I found here at yelp. I ordered the green curry with chicken dish not exactly knowing what it I was ordering (other than the fact that I love curry, and chicken is my meat of choice these days). Figured I was in for a treat , but was not expecting the total bliss of Nirvana! The chicken was so tender that it merely melted before it touched my lips. Before even tasting this dish...the scent was opiate enough for my taste buds to tingle. Like others commented here, the vegetables are FRESH (like they were picked in the backyard fresh). Ha! I think I am addicted to the basil. Either way, all of my family was satisfied as well with their dishes. The service and atmosphere was above averagel. Not any loud music or televisions to distract anyone at the table over intelligent conversation. Either way, this was the best birthday treat I've tasted in years, and I will definitely come back again. I have eaten here several times and have always thought the food was great until today. I ordered carry out and my food was made incorrectly. I called and spoke to Sarah who told me to bring my food back with a receipt. Not only was she very rude about replacing my meal I could hear her speaking to the Chef very negatively about me not realizing I could hear every word of what she was saying! This was no fault of mine nor did I want to drive all the way back and have to have my food re cooked. I felt this to be very unprofessional and an inappropriate way of correcting a mistake by blaming it on the customer! read more

Used to love this place. Have been at least half a dozen times. I like the chicken Pad Woosen and I substitute the Peanut sauce for the original sauce. Attempted to go there last week and the chef refused to make the dish the way I requested and have had it many times before...hmmm guess they do not value a regular customer . My wife and I accidentally found this place on our way home from visiting family. I'm so glad we did! The service was wonderful, the food was spectacular, we felt like it was a little hidden gem. We usually get carry out from here and never a problem. We were excited the new store was within walking distance and took a family bike ride to check it out. First disappointment was not even being offered a high chair or booster seat for our toddler by the hostesses or the waitress. I finally asked if they had any and was brought a booster. Next issue was the long wait times between seeing our waitress so it took a while to get an order placed. Once we finally got our meals, more disappointment. My husband's orange chicken had little flavor. My son's dumplings didn't come. My bulgogi (to be served on a sizzling plate) was cold and much too salty. My white rice was mush. Once my son got his dumplings they were flavorless, cold and mushy as well. When I finally saw the waitress again I let her know about the cold food and she offered to have it heated back up, but I declined because I was hungry, we had been there too long and reheated bulgogi sounded as bad as cold. Overall it was a bummer, but at least Pickerington has a lot of Asian style restaurant options to choose from. I would recommend Jasmine's Thai & Sushi to someone wanting something similar, but much better quality and service. read more

This place is nothing special. Tonight was the first time ordering here after looking at the great pictures of food and reading reviews. We ordered hot and sour soup, egg rolls, steamed chicken dumplings,general tso chicken with steamed rice and combination low mien. We got home and found there was no rice and instead of egg rolls we received Crab Rangoon. Also there was no soy sauce. When I called back to explain that the order was screwed up they would give me rice if I came back to get it. They didn't seem concerned about the egg rolls we didn't get and when I mentioned there was no soy sauce included they said they were out. After getting home the last thing you want to do is make a return trip to pick up the items they screwed up so you can go home to half cold and half warm food. We will not order from here again. The hot and sour soup I could not eat it was nasty. The dumplings were ok the generals tso chicken was average at best and low mien was the same. The crab Rangoon was soggy and not worth eating. This place is way over rated and over priced. read more

We LOVE Thai Paradise, the food is always fresh and delicious and the people are friendly, especially Rasamy!!!! Love you girl!!! We had to go see her at the new Buckeye Lake location because she's the absolute best!!! As usual she greeted us with a huge smile (and a hug), sat us at our table and took our drink orders. It only got better after that. The food was delicious as usual but Rasamy makes the place, she was personable to everybody. She's a rare gem, please DO NOT let her go....ever!!! My husband and I went here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. The ambience is nice. Decor was appropriate for this type of cuisine. Music was soft in the background so it made for a nice conversational atmosphere. We were greeted immediately upon our arrival and seated within minutes. Our server Sarah was very attentive and checked back often but not too often. The menu selections made it difficult to decide but I ultimately choose the Himmapan Chicken and my husband chose the Pepper Chicken. We chose the Fried Calamari as our appetizer. The calamari was a very generous serving of tempura battered calamari cooked to perfection. Not a chewy morsel in the bunch. It was served with a sweet Thai chili sauce which was a nice accompaniment. There was plenty for the both of us. They offer a good selection of Sake and Asian Beers but we opted to go with Coke products. The Himmapan Chicken was all I expected and more. Servings are generous and the presentation was lovely. Veggies were fresh, tender crisp and colorful. The sauce has a subtle sweetness with a bit of fire that you didn't really notice until after each bite. My husband likes his food spicy and the Pepper Chicken did not disappoint. It was very spicy but not so much that you couldn't taste the other flavors of the dish. He was pleased that they used fresh jalapeños and nothing out of a can or jar. We had enough left over for lunch the next day. All in all we enjoyed our dining experience and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back again. read more

The waitress recommended the island chicken for my boyfriend and we both couldn't stop eating it! It was sweet and delicious. I got the pad thai and was really pleased with it as well. The crab rangoons are a must every time we get thai food and they had different rangoons than we were used to and a peanut curry dipping sauce. Different but still delicious! I was hoping for a little more spice in the orange sauce but that seems to just differ based on individual recipes and restaurants. First and foremost, I've been in the fine dining restaurant business for over 15 years now and my husband is a chef so I generally have high expectations. That being said, this was the best meal I've had in pickerington ever. The food was great and they were easily able to accommodate gluten free needs which is always a struggle. Additionally, the woman who took care of us, Ramsay, was phenomenal! She was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. We will most certainly be back. OK let me start by saying I am wondering if Yelp is rigged or is protecting businesses that pay them a fee?. Every review I have goes into the not recommended? So you are probably going to read this in the does not recommend section. So sorry Thai Paradise that you wont get credit for this but I am going to post it anyway. Went to dinner tonight and it was awesome! I had the spicy curry chicken (red) and it was just unreal. Phone person who took my order asked if I would also like a desert or an appetizer. She gave me a recommendation on her favorite curry sauce as well as I have never had it before. She was also polite and patient as I stumbled through order. Also did not dine in as I picked up but store looked clean and seemed to have a nice atmosphere. Family got broccoli and beef by the way and LOVED it as well. Also got crab ragoons which were hot and tasty. This place a little more spendy then other Asian places around Pickerington but I can see why they charge the extra dollar or two. We were unlucky. All of the waitresses were working very hard for the people except for ours. She kept going outside, not sure why. She gave us Poor service. The food tasted okay. I asked for the spiciest red curry chicken they could give. They said "its really hot" i said "okay that's fine" and what they brought me was not hot at all. In fact my wife asked for mild and I thought hers was spicier. The portions aren't very large for the price, the quality of the food was okay but for the price I have had much much much better. Looks like if you want good REAL Thai food you have to go to downtown Columbus for it. read more

I give a 5 stars because the first time my hubby and I went there with friends for the first time, our waitress Rasmy was right off the bat a very friendly and an excellent waitress. Her service and her smile was EPIC!! We loved her right off the bat too. :) And the food was scrumptions and very delicious, props to the cooks as well. :D The second time there my hubby and I took some friends to experience their awesome food and thank God our waitress Rasmy served us once again lol. From now on Rasmy will be our waitress because she's awesome!! I feel like she's part of my family now and even though I'm sure other waiter and waitresses are good too, we will always ask for Rasmy and you should too, thanks girl, great job as always. My boyfriend and I love this place. We have been here quite a few times and have taken others here. The first time we went, Bianca was our server. She was great!!!! Very attentive to everything from making sure the food was ok and that we always had water. The food was great. The garlic pepper calamari was delicious. The crab ragoon is different from what we are used to, but also delicious. Even the wanton soup was delicious. For our main courses we orders drunken noodles and a curry dish. Both were great. Then we had both the desserts, mango with sticky rice and fried bananas. These were delicious also. So when we went back again, Bianca remembered us and even what we ordered. Again, everything was amazing. Since then, we have gone back and tried other things on the menu and was very pleased. We have taken friends we met here in Columbus and our family and friends from NY here. Everyone agreed that from the food to the service, this was a great place. read more

today, may 13, 2012, we ordered $125.00 worth of food for a mother's day celebration. we were told our order would not be ready for one and a half to two hours; we ordered nine dinners and two appetizers and soups. when we went to pick up the order, we were told that they could not fill our fried rice order. we asked how long it would take to make the fried rice, and we were told five minutes. we waited and took our food home looking forward to a wonderful meal. when we unpacked our dinners, none were labeled; we were shorted one meal and the spring roll was inedible ( a six inch long salad wrapped in rice paper). also, there was no fried rice in our order. when i called to complain and asked for a refund for our missing dinner (the least that they could do....) i was told that their policy was to comp us a meal. i explained that we were finished eating and would not be eating at their restaurant again, so that was an unacceptable resolution. i then asked to speak to the owner and was told that that was not possible. i was told that their policy is only to comp a meal for the solution. this is totally unacceptable to our party. what a shame that they could not have corrected their mistake in the simplest of ways, to refund our money for what was missing in our order. we will never order from them again and will advise others of our experience. sincerely, christine a. read more

My husband and I ordered take out...General Tso chicken...White meat...not spicy. The food was good...the amount of food you get for the price is ridiculous!!! When I called to order my food...I asked...is the portion enough for two people? She replied...yes it's in a 32 ounce dinner container. So I ordered...got home...there were literally 8 PIECES OF CHICKEN in the container...I know because I counted! I called to advise a manager...she said everything is done by weight...blah blah blah! What are they weighing?!?! The millions of vegetables they but on there? May their scale was broken...who knows..but for $11... 8 pieces of chunks of chicken is ridiculous! The manager just said...thanks for letting me know and that was it! No apology or anything! Also...I asked for my food not to be spicy...it was SPICY!
