Vegan Panang Curry with veggies AND tofu
    Anthony S.

I like that they have a vegan menu. I ate inside the restaurant and ordered a Jamaica drink, green papaya salad (from the regular menu but they made it vegan by leaving out the fish sauce), and the vegan Thai fried rice with tofu which was a big portion. Went back again and got vegan panang curry with veggies AND tofu. Everything was very good. Will definitely be back to try more items. Also, there was plenty of parking, the restaurant looked very clean, friendly service, and I liked the classic rock music playing.

Ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. More like Kung Pao Onion! The little chicken that was in there was bland. Portions look big but it was all onion. Fried rice was ok but have had better. Nothing special ok for the price. Definitely better options 5 min away.

Spicy Fried Rice & Crying Tiger Special! Both a great combo together!

I ordered online last minute for a late dinner, I couldn't decide what I wanted so I looked at the yelp for recommendations. After carefully looking through, I ordered the following below & yes, it's a lot for two but we wanted to test them out! - Spicy Thai fried rice - Chicken Pad Thai - Crying Tiger Special - Teriyaki Chicken - Red Curry The spicy Thai rice was good, the chicken was slightly undercooked so you may want to request it "well done." I tried the crying tiger special with the rice and it complimented each other. It also came with a spicy vinaigrette to dip which was tangy & salty. The teriyaki chicken was my favorite because it was full of flavor, it had the right amount of sauce, and the chicken was prepared just how I like it. The red curry was great, it had the right amount of spice and the bamboo shoot gave it a nice crunch. All together, everything was good I would come back but maybe this time around I'll make adjustments based on my likings. Also, I'd probably order more apps to try especially their satay chicken, spring rolls, and their cream cheese wontons. I'd definitely recommend for a Friday night take out dinner, prices are also reasonable!

Honestly I had written this place off about a year ago. I had a bad experience with a few lunch special orders and vowed to never return. A good friend went back and said it was FIRE! So I gave it another shot and man was I j pressed. Such a difference in quality and flavor. I had the cashew chicken lunch special and opted to dine in. Super fresh crisp veggies and the sauce was light and flavorful.

Food is okay. I dont feel like its the most authentic Thai food I could get. Its more on the bland side and the spice level is not accurate. I got a medium spice papaya salad and i taste no spice. I ordered take out so i couldnt do much about it, but this place wouldnt be my first choice if I want the authentic thai food. Disappointed.

    Garlic tofu lunch special

Not sure what is going on. There are zero people in the restaurant except for me and my daughter, and we have waited over 30 minutes, no food yet. The 1986 song "Lady in Red" is playing over and over; we are on the ninth time, it's really weird. Two people have come in for to-go orders, so they must have food in the back somewhere. I thought this would be a good quick stop for lunch with my 2-year-old (who is being really, really patient), but I thought wrong. Yay! The food is here and smells and looks good ... excellent, the garlic tofu and rice are good! I'm going to eat this now, as the tenth playing of Lady in Red begins ...

It was my first time here, so I opted to go for their lunch menu. Most lunch menus or lunch specials tend to not be filling but their portion was very generous. The food itself was really tasty and the service was absolutely amazing. I was surprised it was a bit empty in the restaurant, but the to go orders were pilling up on the cashier. Even though he was very busy packing up the to go orders, he was quick to acknowledge and help me. So they must be doing something right with that many orders to go. My food came out within minutes, to me that's a win! Who wants to waste their lunch on waiting for food? No one! The only TINY negative thing I will say, I was expecting more from the fried rice. I was expecting it to be mixed with veggies and/or eggs as I'm normally accustomed to fried rice. However it was still very flavorful. Will I order again, YES! But this time something spicy! A solid 9.5/10! Cashew Nuts with Beef

I ordered the double cheeseburger, and it was absolutely delicious. The burger was packed with flavor, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the buns were soft, fluffy, and airy. The patties weren't smash burgers and were on the thinner side, but they were still juicy and satisfying. My husband ordered the BBQ burger, and he really enjoyed his as well. For our side, we shared the loaded tots. They were crispy, well-seasoned, and a great addition to the meal. Service was good overall. The cashier seemed a little serious at first and didn't really greet us, but when we asked to swap out a drink, she was very accommodating and didn't charge us extra. There was a small misunderstanding when I asked about side options, but she quickly explained that another table had the menu and went to grab one for us. She was friendly and helpful throughout the rest of the interaction. The restaurant was clean, which I always appreciate. The atmosphere could use a little improvement, though. It felt a bit stuffy inside, two of the three menu screens weren't working, and it was very quiet with no music playing, which made the dining room feel a little empty. Overall, the food was definitely the highlight and I'd come back for the burgers and loaded tots.

I ordered chicken breast, and the portions were surprisingly inconsistent. One piece was a reasonable size, while the other was significantly smaller and did not feel like a proper portion. The biggest disappointment was the Caesar salad with salmon. It came with only two very small pieces of salmon--approximately 1.5 ounces total. Honestly, even my cat would have been disappointed with that portion! It genuinely looked like they were down to their last small piece of salmon and divided it between the salad. As someone who is Persian and grew up eating this type of food regularly, I'm very familiar with the flavors, quality, and portions I would expect. Unfortunately, the food this time was well below average, both in taste and value. I would rate the taste about 2/10. It's especially disappointing because I previously enjoyed ordering from Sorta and appreciated having a convenient neighborhood option so close to home. But after two disappointing experiences in a row, I can't justify the price for the portions and quality I received. Sadly, I don't see myself returning. This is a really cool little burger spot tucked into the corner of a shopping center. The inside has a fun vibe with cassette tapes and surfboards decorating the place, and everything is open so you can see the staff taking orders and the burgers being cooked right behind the counter. What impressed me just as much as the food was the owner. I met him while I was waiting for my burger, and what a great guy. He greeted me with a smile, thanked me for coming in, and even offered me a free bottle of water while I waited. And this was right in the middle of the lunch rush while he was cooking burgers, helping his staff and thanking customers as they left. He took a minute to tell me the restaurant was created in honor of his dad, which I thought was really cool. He also told me about the cassette tapes and his skateboarding days when he was younger. You could tell this place really means something to him. Now let's talk about that burger! I went with the Double with everything on it. Two smashed beef patties, cheese, grilled onions, house sauce, pickles and the rest of the toppings loaded onto a soft bun. The first thing I noticed were those crispy edges on the patties. They were perfect! The beef was smashed super thin on the grill and those edges came out dark, crispy and full of flavor while the middle still had plenty of juiciness. The melted cheese and grilled onions were great with it, and the pickles and house sauce added even more flavor. The bun was soft and lightly toasted, which was perfect with those crispy patties. There are plenty of Smashburger places around here, but this one definitely stood out to me. Between the burger, the atmosphere, the staff and meeting the owner, I had a great first experience.
