Craving Thai food with plenty of options!? Come here! My husband and I came for dinner and it did not disappoint. Parking maybe a bit challenging especially during those busy hours but we were able to park right in front of the restaurant. We were greeted and sat down at a table quickly. We were in the mood for curry, so we order the Kao Soi and spring rolls. Fun fact, kao soi is a delicate to northern Thailand with Bernese influence. This being our first time trying this dish, it hit all the food spots! The thick curry was served with crispy egg noodles on top, spice, onions, garlic and lime. We enjoyed this very much. I recommend this dish to anyone who enjoyed curry and wants to try something different. The staff were inviting and friendly. Clean tables. Plenty of space for big crowds. Thai Recipe Bistro, thank you for introducing me to Kao soi chicken. How have I not had this dish before? Oh right, I always order Pad Thai or Panang Curry :p This may be my new favorite! It's creamy, a bit sweet and salty, and spicy. I've never had boiled AND fried noodles in the same dish. My wife and I shared this dish along with an order of veggie rolls. It was plenty of food for us! The parking lot is a bit small but it looks like you can also park on the side street. The dining area is fairly large and nicely decorated. We went here last night and everything was really good. We arrived not long after they opened for dinner (apparently they close for about an hour each day between 3pm-4pm) and the place was already packed. We were seated right away and it didn't take us very long to decide on our items but the staff were really busy so it took a while for someone to get back to our table. We decided to get the yellow curry, the seafood drunken noodles, and the kao soi. A couple of us also had the taro bubble tea. The kao soi was interesting and my favorite item because it had a brick of crispy noodles (they kind of looked like the dehydrated ramen noodles) on top of a dish of cooked noodles in a milk broth. We also had an appetizer of edamame. Each dish was very large and too much for one person to consume alone. We assumed that each portion was for an individual but it looked like they were meant to be shared family-style. We got boxes for the leftovers and the cost was a little over $100 for everything, including the drinks. I'd definitely visit again if I'm in the area. The restaurant has a very small parking lot so keep that in mind if you have a large vehicle or if you're here when the restaurant is busy. read more

To start off this review honestly, I've fallen in love with everything about this restaurant. The staff, food, ambiance, everything just lines up for an amazing time with Thai cuisine. My must order: Tom Kha with Tofu, Thai Tea (Coffee or regular), and shrimp spring rolls. The flavors brought out to represent Thai taste is done so beautifully here to the point I've introduced several friends and family with no complaints. The Tom Kha with tofu added on is a dish you can share family style and goes so well on top of a bowl of white rice. Spring rolls with the peanut sauce is a 10/10 appetizer that you can't go wrong with unless you just don't like spring rolls. So many of the dishes are palatable for folks without any experience to asian foods in general. Lastly, their drinks are definitely for the sweet tooth kinda person. I personally love the strong thai tea flavor in the specific drinks unlike certain places where it's too weak. The cost for 2 people to eat well here (1 app, 2 main, 2 drinks, 1 dessert) is hovering 45-55$ depending on how much you get. 100% Recommend even if you have to drive a distance to get here. read more

My Thai food knowledge is pretty limited so when the boss said we're ordering from Thai Recipe, let me know what you want, I decided to go with the House Combo so I could try a few different things. My favorites were the chicken stay and the fried tofu, and I don't usually eat much tofu. But it was just very satisfying. Everything else was really good too, with the samosas probably being my least favorite. For takeout it was well-packaged, including the various sauces. I'm sure we'll order again and I'm going to have to try some other things. My boss had the drunken noodles, which I have actually made myself before (thanks to Jet Tila's cookbook) so I may have to try those next time. read more

I love their food and usually get my noodles with crispy Tofu, but this time tried it with chicken and boy was I missing out, it's so good and juicy. Found this place by accident on yelp but was so very happy. The food was amazing as was the service. I had the Panang curry and it was loaded with lots of tender chicken, green beans and peppers. I don't like too much spice and ordered it with no extra spice just be careful. It was great but I could increase my spice order. My friends got the drunken noodles with pork and there were lots of veggies and tender pork. They was also and order of Pad Thai and it was excellent. Seriously, the food was very good and fast. The service was so attentive without being overbearing. Always had refilled waters. I will come back for sure and highly recommend. I often crave it and could just drink the curry like it's water giving me life again. The Pad Thai though is a bit lacking. The flavor doesn't seem to be all there. One of the best Thai meals I've had in Phoenix. We had a fairly large group (9 people) and they were able to accommodate us easily (even though it was busy). We had a vegan in the group and there were numerous choices for her. Among the dishes we had, the curries really stood out. We had 3 different kinds, yellow, green and red...all were excellent...and you can get them from mild to "double Thai hot"...we stuck either medium, which has just a bit of a burn to it. I was entertained by the robots they have delivering food to tables! I ordered the Dynamite Noodle with chicken, 3 star spice level, and in the words of Jimmy Walker, it was "Dyn-O-Mite!" To drink, I got the lychitini (lychee martini). It was divine. For appetizers, my friend went for fried calamari and I went for the satay chicken.
