Nice decor - they have the obligatory picture of the Thai King and queen - except it isn't a portrait proper and it is of the wrong king (the king in the pic died a few years ago)(although the new (current) king is not well esteemed so okay they can leave the old king picture up I guess). The walls are covered with wonderful pictures of Thailand. Beautiful. The food is excellent and scrumptious! I think they might actually have real Thais in the kitchen cooking this great food! My biggest complaint: THEY NEED TO PUT THAT MUSIC VIDEOS ON THEIR TV SCREENS. My Thai restaurant experience is limited to Thailand and Hawaii, and there they always have Thai music videos playing, maybe out east they don't do that. Anyways, a great restaurant. Very good Thai is middle of small MD city filled with mostly non-Asian choices and Chinese buffets. The service here is awesome - seated right away and given water after asking if I wanted a drink. Then food is quickly ordered and food comes out quickly and in the right order and tempo. I had a Tom Yum soup Green Curry. Soup was very flavorful and spicy. Curry was very good with lots of meat and vegetables but needed a little more heat. read more

Very rude!!!!! Given the wrong order. Asked for plates and then they made racist comments. After I came back for the right order they said it was our fault the order was wrong even though they did not review it with us and just gave us another indian person's food. After that we came home we opened the bag and was missing an item. I called back and the lady yelled and screamed at me! She argued she did put it in the bag... Then she hung up. The best Thai I've had in the states. Their curries are rich and spice levels are on point. When you ask for Thai spice level 5, you're getting a legit spicy dish. The only negative that I can state is that they add way too many bamboo shoots. But it's all good when their sauce/base is so damn good. The red curry is where it's at. I'd skip their massaman though. I don't think it's possible for any Thai restaurant to pull off a good massaman when they are trying to feed the masses. Green curry was good too. read more

Harford County finally has a Thai restaurant! A friend mentioned this place, so we decided to stop in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I am so glad that we did! From the service to the food, everything was wonderful! We split the Spring Rolls and BBQ Beef appetizer. Both were very good. I had the Shrimp Pad Thai for my meal. I chose to have it made a "3" on the spicy scale. I am glad that I didn't go any higher- it was super spicy! It was good, but super spicy! It was a yummy experience. The food was great and the portions where ok a bit on the small side but it made my tummy happy. The establishment gives a vibe between a club or a lounge, it's hardly a restaurant vibe. Also they need to clean I bit more the floors and tables looked dirty. The day we went the inside of the restaurant was absolutely boiling hot! I am hope they don't keep their thermostat so high during summer bc it was very uncomfortable. For a Thai place in the suburbs, this place pleasantly surprised me. Went on a Sunday right when they opened. Was nearly empty and they were a little short staffed so it felt kind of chaotic. Waiter was very nice. Was big group so we order a number of apps. The spring rolls were delish. The dumplings were okay. The fried tofu was great. The summer rolls were a little disappointing - no meat or shrimp and mostly just iceberg lettuce (but I personally appreciated that there was no mint in them - trade offs I guess). Thai fried rice was spicier than expected. Drunken noodle and pad Thai were both yummy. Some inconsistencies in the heat/spice levels of the dishes - my level three spice drunken noodle was incredibly mild while my friends level four was outta control spicy. Hard to know what level to order. Wish they would participate in delivery service programs so I could order from them More often without having to go pick it up myself or eat in. My friend and I also shared the steak Pad Thai, the meat on the Pad Thai was well done, was not too chewy. Food is good, but can be inconsistent from one visit to the next. One time we ordered carry out and the guy at the register actually got an attitude with us for arriving to soon to pick it up. He actually said "didn't you hear me on the phone". We didn't go back for a while after that, but have since returned. The fried rice with chicken is really good and so are the drunken noodles with chicken. The inconsistency is with the portion sizes and spice level. They aren't the same from visit to visit which can be frustrating. All in all, it's a good option every few weeks. read more

Service was good but the food was by no means authentic Thai food. The Summer rolls were mainly lettuce with some very sweet and flavorless peanut butter dipping sauce. Very bland. We also had Pad Thai. Noodles were over cooked and covered in what seemed like the same sweet bland peanut butter that was out dipping sauce. My 6 yr old daughter who loves Pad Thai asked me what was wrong with it and said she could eat it. Not real Thai food for sure but worse yet, it just plain was bad. This is the most frightening restaurant I have ever been to. The service was BEYOND terrible. It took 15 minutes to be served water, and this was after my mother went up to the bar to ask for water. The server replied with, "There's a jug here, would you like to fill up two glasses for yourself?" Unbelievable. Three times we flagged him down to take our order; the first time he had no paper, the second time no pen. So rude. And awkward. At the end of the meal I asked for a to go box. He then proceeded to describe what the to go box looked like. I honestly think he was on drugs of some sort. That or he was completely insane. Probably both. The spring rolls were greasy. The pad se ew was okay, but my appetite was thoroughly diminished when a woman patron decided to change her baby's diaper on a table behind us. No staff said anything to her. Initially I was excited about having first Thai restaurant in the area. Their noodles like Pad Thai and Pad See Ew taste good except they give you very small portion, not to mention they overcharge you for the portion they give you. Their curries are watery and unflavored. They make me feel they want to get the most profit out from you by providing you watered-down sauces and tiny portions. I am 120 pounds girl, and I most of time I need to order additional summer roll or some another appetizer to be full, imagine how much you have to spend on a meal there. I could give this place 5 stars for just being a Thai restaurant in Bel Air, because I've been waiting a long time for this! I ordered the Drunken Noodles w/ Beef and my boyfriend got the Kraw Pow Something. We both loved our meals! My only gripe was that I asked for mild spice and it tasted a lot like spicy lol I could handle it but if you want little to no spice, just say no spice. The layout is pretty cute also. Their service is a bit slow but I'm attributing that to the fact that they're just gaining their footing since it just opened. But i'll definitely be back! read more

At last, a real Thai restaurant in Harford County! Thai owners and chef, just upgraded the menu and will refresh again soon. Trying hard to keep it authentic and very open to feedback. The flavors in the dishes we had were wonderful and the heat levels right on. I had a 5 (Thai hot) and it was wonderful, my wife had 3 hot but not killer. The decor is very good and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Highly reccomended, lets hope enough people appreciate this place to keep it open and encourage other ethnic places to come out to HC. A good sign was forks and spoons, no chopsticks and Thai familes eating there when we arrived. No drink license yet but going through the usual HC long approval process. Still probably won't ever see Mekong (Thai whiskey) here but I live in hope read more

Very nice family owned Thai restaurant right next to the Asian feeding trough- Kobe Buffet. This is our fourth time here and was never disappointed. Delicious authentic Thai cuisine cooked to perfection. Wait staff is a bit uneasy. I think it might be family members, not professional waiters. I enjoyed the Pad Ginger stir fry with steak. My lovely wife had Yellow Curry with shrimp. Both dishes were quite good. Overall, this place is a solid 4 star. read more

Pros: Well-decorated space, tasty food Cons: portion sizes are microscopic, expensive, nonexistent service I was so excited to try this place as I love Thai food. We went here for lunch. My husband ordered the sweet and sour and I ordered the green curry. The food was good but I feel like we waited a bit too long for it to come out of the kitchen because we were the only ones in the restaurant. The meals were smaller than TV dinners and at $15 apiece we felt like we had been ripped off. We left hungry. I love this Thai spot, the food is always fresh and well garnished with fresh herbs. They offer a lot of vegan and vegetarian options, which is a super big plus. The Thai iced tea is very good, and so is the iced green tea! I love the tofu drunken noodles. They do not kid around with spice here (pun intended), so make sure to go lower rather than higher.
