We slipped in just before the 3pm lunch closing, to get one massuman curry and one yellow curry to go (serious road trip). Food was fresh and delicious, we picked two mellow (not spicy) dishes and got exactly what we hoped for. The curry portions were HUGE - each taking up the majority of a quart container! Saved the rest on ice in our cooler for Thai dinner in Utah that night.

Day after Christmas. No big crowds. Simple layout and decor

We visit Laramie at least twice a year and always want Thai food. My daughter stopped in (she lives in Laramie) a short time ago and told us about Thai Spice. Her enthusiasm required us to stop and I'm very pleased we did. It was the day after Christmas so it was nice and quiet. Other than the group that left as we arrived, there was only one other group tonight. We were immediately welcomed and seated by a server who was friendly. We kept it simple (a wise move after feasting on Christmas) and had only chicken satay ($5) and the big serving of soup ($14). The satay was easily cut with the edge of my fork and very tender. The soup was FANTASTIC. We had a full quart of soup that we brought home. I asked about gluten free menu items, as my mother (not with us) has celiac and is highly sensitive to cross contamination. The chef, who is the owner, came and talked with us, recommending specific items. She even knew so much about gluten that she knew even gluten free items that were fried would be cross contaminated by the oil. Five stars for service Five stars for food Five star for value Five stars for prodigy knowledge. Thank you!!

Some of the best Thai food out there. Service is a little slow, but that's pretty common in Laramie. Overall, a great experience.

Upon having a beer at Blacktooth Brewing a block away, we asked the local staff and they highly recommended Anong's. We didn't know that we would be getting such a great experience moments later. Service was wonderful from the start, seated quickly with menus in hand. The waitress waited until we gave the nod to order and came to address us. I suggested noodles for my mom since I have had plenty of Thai when I lived in Portland, OR and that is a safe bet. She ordered the Kee Mao with combo protein little bit of spice. Dad ordered the Panang curry with pork spice level 3 I stuck to the Pad See Ew noodles with chicken. We all were very impressed with the flavors, quantity and perfection on the spice level to what we ordered. Oh, and it came out in less than 5 minutes but it was piping hot, like what? I mean come on, this is exactly what we needed on our trip. I practically had to roll out of there. My mom got half of her meal in a to-go container but dad slurped his bowl of curry dry. If you're considering Anong's for dinner just go please. Experience the authentic flavors!

I've tried lots of different pad Thai dishes in different places and this is definitely one of my top picks. So so yummy! With that said, be sure, even if you say you want a vegan pad Thai, to ask for no egg. There has been a few times I have ordered a vegan pad Thai and they take out the fish and oyster sauce, but still add in the egg. If you want to be sure, it is a fully vegan dish you'll want to specify that you want no egg.

There were only 2 servers but they worked fast and we were served very quickly. The complementary chicken rice soup appetizer was a nice surprise and very flavorful. Next our chicken Satay was wonderful , hot and generous. 5 pieces of tender chicken with luscious peanut and cucumber sauces. We tried the green coconut milk curry with shrimp and tofu. Wonderful with crisp tender assorted veggies. The Anong garden is a plate of tender crisp hot veggies with a mild peanut sauce. This was fantastic( we added chicken). The star was the pineapple and shrimp fried rice. Absolutely awesome. There was way too much food which will make great takeaway leftovers for tomorrow. We will be back!!

He brought us a water bowl for the dogs, and he gave us a ton of recommendations on the menu as well. For our meal, we started with the dolma and kimchi pancake. The dolma was great, but the star here was the kimchi pancake! It was crispy, flavorful with the dipping sauce, and so delicious I wish we ordered 2. For our entrees, I had the General Tso's cauliflower which was the best fried cauliflower I've ever had. They were sooo extremely crispy and very flavorful! You can't go wrong with these or the cauliflower wings. The sauce on this was a tad spicier than I normally like that day, but that did not bother me given how delicious the dish was. My partner got the lettuce wraps which had a yummy tofu scramble that we also really enjoyed. Overall, I love the concept of comfort vegetarian food that Sweet Melissa offers, and I am so glad we stopped by here.
