Went with my mom to this restaurant, and there are two doors - one for pickup and one for dine-in. We were the only customers at the time! We tried the Panang Red Curry and the Eggplant Chicken. We waited for about 2-6 minutes for our food. The curry is creamy and savory, and there was a good balance of chicken, bell peppers, and the curry for a rice side to go along with it. The eggplant chicken is smothered in sauce, which is either a good or bad sign for you. The sauce is both garlicky and sweet, and yummy! The server energy was a bit low, but it's reasonable, because we visited at a later hour (8:50). Overall, I would recommend coming at night just so the ambiance can get to you better, along with your dish.

Mic drop Green Curry Chicken. This should be applauded by Guy Fiere.

This review is long overdue. I have enjoyed Thai Spice of Willow Glen since its inception. Up until 18 months ago, I lived in Willow Glen (San Jose burb) for 20 years. I now live in Santa Clara - and I love it. It's been an adjustment downsizing from 1M folks and all it's offerings to a 200k ish college town. A note of mention, the food scene in Santa Clara packs a punch. It's compact yet an epic food scene in its own right. Particularly various Asian cuisine. With all that said, I have yet to find a spot that holds a candle to this TS location. From the great parking, ADA compliance, interior ambiance, extremely clean, seasonal Spirit, immediate greetings, hospitality, patient yet quick service, incredible degree of spices (nothing spared) and nice portions- no lie, every other place falls short of the glory. Coupled with gorgeous plating and reasonable price points, it's a grand slam. I could literally eat here on the daily. I'll see you this Sunday

I tried Thai Spice for Saturday night dinner. The place came recommended from a friend so I was excited to try their dishes. It was October and they had numerous Halloween decorations that added some fun to a traditional Thai ambiance. We were seated quickly and our server was pretty attentive. We tried the following items: -Thai Iced tea (5/5; solid and just as it should be) -papaya green salad (4/5; solid but the dressing could have been more flavorful and we asked for it spicy but it wasn't at all. This dish comes with generous butterflied shrimp which was a nice touch) -pad Thai (4/5; solid, nothing particularly special. We did get it w tofu and it also came with tempeh which was weird in texture and taste. I honestly just avoided bites of this...) -spicy eggplant with chicken (4/5; again, solid but I wish it had more flavor. The chicken was tasty but pretty dry. all the veggies esp the eggplant were well cooked) -pumpkin curry (4.25/5; my friend LOVES this dish. I found it to be tasty but not mind blowing. Maybe some additional acidity could have added to the complexity of this dish but it was quite good) -spicy noodles/pad kee mao (4/5; solid flavor, lots of veggies (I hate that it came with baby corn though...), shrimp were cooked well, noodles didn't stick together and were flavorful. A decent rendition of this dish but nothing amazing) Overall, we had a solid meal at Thai Spice but my search for LA level Thai food continues

Trying a new place through door dash. I've been wanting pad Thai for dinner and came across Thai Spice. The food was delivered on time as stated. The pad Thai was good. It was slightly different from what I usually have. I feel like it may be missing something. Not sure what. You can be the judge when you try it. Overall it was good. I'd try something new next time.

This is now my favorite Thai restaurant. All of their food is delicious, flavorable and they don't skimp on ingredients like many other Thai restaurants do. Last night I ordered for pick up. I love Panang Curry so that was my choice for the evening. When I clicked on the item to order, I noticed they offered rice, salad and the soup of the day for an extra $6. I jumped on that! The salad was a green salad with peanut dressing, the soup was a spicy coconut soup with vegetables and of course the Jasmine rice is always perfect with curry. The Panang curry is sweeter than red curry. Their version is absolutely delicious. It is filled with yummy ingredients, which also includes the Thai basil which I love as it adds such a yummy flavor. Chicken was my choice and there was a lot in my dish. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Absolutely delicious. It was the perfect way to end a very rainy cold day with no power in the house. Picked it up and came home to power and still kept those candles burning for the perfect ambiance in a storm. Thai food is good comfort food. This restaurant serves up the best.

The green curry was warm and delicious and enough portions for two people. The total cost was about $21 for the rice and curry. The service was fast and they kept checking in on us and asking us if we wanted water or anything else. The ambiance is relaxing and a good spot for a date and cozy vibes. The interior decorations are soothing!

Thai Spice in San Jose offers a flavorful and authentic Thai dining experience in a relaxed, casual setting. Popular dishes like Panang curry and green curry are some favorites. We usually order through DoorDash . Pad Sew and fried rice , roti curry and chicken satay are our house favorites. The restaurant has earned praise for its tasty food and accommodating service. The ambiance is clean. Overall, it's a solid local favorite for those craving bold, comforting Thai flavors.

Would rate this place a 3.5. Pretty solid spot for Thai food, there's a parking lot outside and plenty of indoor seating. The ambiance is pretty quiet and dark. The servings are pretty large so I feel like the prices match how much food you get. I ordered the thai spicy fried rice with chicken and it had a good basil flavor. I also tried their yellow curry which tasted like typical yellow thai curry (in a good way). My only thing is that I think all the dishes could use more spice, but the flavor was there

Best Thai food in South Bay for sure! The green curry is on another level with many rich vegetables and not too sweet with coconut milk.

The restaurant itself looked so new as if they had finished construction. While we didn't go for happy hour, they had a massive bar inside. We ordered the pad see ew with tofu, and sesame chicken with white rice. It was a good lunch portion and was very tasty. My son works in the area so he has been here before and recommended it. Staff/servers were very nice and accommodating. We closed out our bill and we continued with our lunch date talking and catching up. They let us sit there outside uninterrupted until we were done (and we are SO SO SOOOOO sorry, we were there until 3PM). We had NO IDEA they close at 2PM until dinner time! We were very apologetic on the way out the door but they were saying it was fine. SIGH... No its not fine, I would have expected them tell us they are closing soon and maybe have us take our food order to go. Or closed out our bill and say they need to close to get ready for dinner... My son and I had a great dining experience. Thank you for everything and we have now NOTED your business hours. :D
