Thai Grata is located in the Santa Teresa Main Street Shopping Center. The parking is plentiful in this large plaza. The restaurant is cozy though it can accommodate several parties of 6-12. I only got a Thai Ice Coffee, which was delicious and creamy. I'll be back to try their food.

One of my favorite spots for Thai food in SJ! I've tried a number of dishes here and particularly love the pad see ew, basil fried rice, yellow curry, spicy catfish, and papaya salad. Medium spice level definitely has a kick to it and is a good level for me without being overpowering. Quality and quantity of food you receive is well worth the price in my opinion, and the service is always quick and attentive when I've dined in here. Restaurant is cozy and quiet, I always have an enjoyable meal here.

Thai Grata has been in business for decades in this Blossom Hill plaza. There's plenty of parking and the restaurant is easily accessible. Every time I've stopped by, the restaurant has had a steady flow of customers. A waitlist on a clipboard is available for longer wait times. The restaurant is dimly lit for ambiance, but always clean. The Pad Thai noodles had a great texture and a balanced taste of sweet, salty, and sour. Peanuts and bean sprouts were placed on the side. The chicken in the Thai Fried Rice held its own flavor in the thai fried rice. There was a substantial amount of rice, egg, chicken, and tomatoes. Overall, a good place for thai food that is appropriately priced for its size!

This was my first time at this restaurant and it was quite enjoyable! The restaurant has a nice calm vibe and is dimly lit. Parking was easy to find and it wasn't busy on a tuesday at 5pm. We got the tom kha soup which was very flavorful and delicious on a cold day. We also tried the thai prawn salad which was fresh and the shrimp were seasoned nicely. The pad thai was my favorite, it had a nice flavor and the crushed peanuts were on the side so you could add them to every bite! For dessert we wanted the mango sticky rice, but they said the mangoes were out of season so instead they offered us sticky rice with fried bananas which was pretty good!

Needed to look for a restaurant in the Blossom Hill area and decided on Thai Grata. It's located in a strip mall and parking is not an issue. The decor is simple but comfortable and cozy. The two of us ordered family style and shared a Roti with curry sauce, a small Tom Kha Soup with chicken, Spicy Crispy Catfish, Chilli Seafood, and Green Curry Chicken. We ordered everything medium spicy. And of course we had to get the Thai Ice Tea and Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango for dessert. Food came out rather quickly, with the appetizer Roti first and then the soup and then the dishes. The Roti was not what I was expecting, a bit thick and doughy. Everything else was quite delicious. The chilli seafood came with a good variety of seafood and was very tasty. Thai Ice Tea was very good and so was the Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango. Portions were great and prices were reasonable. We had plenty of leftovers. Service was on point. This is a solid option for Thai food.

Pad Thai & Red Curry w/ rice

Got Pad Thai w/ Tofu, red curry w/ chicken, and rice. I think that this is the definition of middle of the road American thai food. Their Pad Thai was ketchupy and if you like that, then great. I think that Thai food can have much better depth of flavor but this was not bad at all. Their red curry had bell peppers, chicken, bamboo and I thought it was pretty good. Great level of spice and would come eat it again if I was here. I think that there are just much better thai restaurants than this one that it becomes overshadowed.

We ordered the roti, crispy pork belly, sausage, Laos style papaya salad, and a khao soi to share between 3 people. All of the food was absolutely delicious but we felt like the portions were a little small for the price. The pork belly and sausage were both ~ $23 and didn't come with as many pieces as we thought it would. This was some of the crispiest roti I've ever had! I loved the curry dipping sauce on the side and the nice crunch of the cucumbers. The pork belly was slightly overcooked, a little hard but the flavors were great! The sausage tasted house made, it had a great tang to it and I loved the variety of dipping sauce. We ordered extra spicy/hot for the Laos papaya salad but it was definitely medium. The khao soi was very comforting on a cold day and the broth was rich and creamy. I'd definitely come back if I was in the area!

A generous portion of noodles and veggies, but not as much meat (which is fine by me). As a spicy loving girl, the spiciest level option was good as it was present throughout the entire dish, meaning it was mixed in well! I appreciated this immensely. Also got a mango sticky rice to feed my sweet tooth, and it was good too! Served with blue rice which made it pretty. The bad: Oh my god. I love Rad Nar normally, but when I ordered it from here through UberEats, I was severely disappointed and couldnt even finish a third of the dish. It was severely sweet. Now, I do love my sugar, but holy crap it tasted like they marinated the meat, veggies, and noodles in sugar and then added more sugar when cooking it. I also got the spicy option so it was really weird to eat something sickenly sweet with a little bit of spice when expecting a spicy, savory dish. Maybe it was a bad night for the chef or they mistook salt for sugar, but wow. I was in shock, and in the bad way lol.

The fermentation concept is woven into everything from the beers and botanical mocktails to the food and it actually works incredibly well. The drinks are creative without feeling gimmicky, and the flavors are layered and thoughtful. The food was surprisingly memorable too, especially how vegetable-forward dishes still felt rich and satisfying. The atmosphere has this warm, artsy, almost hidden-gem energy that makes you want to stay for hours. What really stands out is that the place feels intentional. You can tell the owners care deeply about craft, community, and creating an experience instead of just another brewery. Fox Tale Fermentation is a small place like a Japanese ramen shop. My high school classmate suggestion this place and I thought she was vegetarian. I asked her why this place; she wanted to try it out but she's a meat eater. I'm down to try new places so we went. When we went, it was really crowded for a Thursday dinner time. A lady saw my cane and offer her table to sit at so I felt seen. You pretty much order at the front counter; you pour your own water. Front counter was so nice to us as we try to order. We got the funk salad and kombucha. We didn't order a lot because we wanted to try the place. When we got to our table, it was near the door. Our funk salad came and it was hefty mf. It was a bowl of salad all right. So you know how I said earlier that I don't like vegetarian food? OMG I was amazed. The best salad I've eaten. The vinaigrette was so good; it was citrusy. My salad was cut into small pieces so it wasn't big that I need to cut it. The sweet potato was sauteed. The princess sauerkraut was so good. I don't like sauerkraut at all but it was divine. I never tried kombucha because I thought it was dirt tea. I was wrong. It has the fermented taste and I never knew. After trying it, it's not something I would order again. I liked how I was eating "healthy" food after I ate bad yesterday. I don't have that bad bloated feeling. It's very wheelchair friendly and restroom is unisex. The restroom is clean. The establishment is clean. I would go here again if I have a vegetarian visitor. This place rocks!
