My husband and I moved to the Mason area in October and took our first week to try a few restaurants in the area. Thai Spicy is easily our favorite and we order there almost once a week. The service is always friendly and efficient and the food is also soooo good; it feels like comfort food. The best part is that it's ACTUALLY spicy! I hate ordering a 4 or 5/5 and getting a 2 and that never happens with Thai Spicy. The kitchen was sooooooo slooooooow! We waited 45minutes for the food when the restaurant wasn't that busy. There were 3 servers, they were not necessarily busy as the kitchen was incredibly slow. Thai Spicy is the best Thai restaurant in the city! I am not even kidding! I have never been to Thailand so I don't know what authentic Thai food taste like but this restaurant got me addicted to its soooper delicious food. The spice level is always on point (I love spicy food) and the portions are really big! I have tried almost all vegetarian food on the menu and they are very accommodating to dietary requests. We ordered Thai iced tea, sushi, a couple of entrees, and mango sticky rice-the food was excellent! Our waiter's name was Nate. He was awesome! We thought the food we took out the other night was horrible! We ordered the chicken fried rice, the pad thai with chicken, and the green curry. On advice of the woman who took our order, we ordered a medium spice level. Basically, none of it had any flavor at all, and the fried rice tasted burnt. The green curry was so watery that the container was still full after we finished the scant chicken and vegetables in the sauce. The pad thai was so tasteless that I could not even eat it. If you like fresh, authentic, delicious sushi and Thai food, this place is a must! It's hidden in a small strip mall but don't let that fool you. We ordered on-line for takeout. We had Green Curry w/chicken and Massaman Curry w/beef. We ordered at spice level 2, which was fine, but probably could have ordered at level 3 without being overwhelmed by spicy heat. The flavors are as good as you will find in the Cincinnati area and are very authentic. We lived in Bangkok for five years, so we know good Thai food. We say to the Thai Spicy team, the food was "aroi dee maak maak!" The spring rolls and the sushi rolls were also very good. Give Thai Spicy a try! read more

Thai Spicy is one of my favorite spots to grab food. The flavor is spot on. The crab ragoon is the best I have ever had. This place is definitely worth checking out. The staff is amazing. I can not say enough about this place. It can be spicy so please keep that in mind. I like level three or four out of four spicy here. I can describe the spice levels like this 0= what spice, 1=Meh ok I taste the peppers. 2=Ok that is a nice mouth feel, definately taste the peppers here. 3= I'm sweating a bit and my mouth is tingling but in a nice way. 4= Hand me two glasses of water and a Thai tea my mouth is burning, still tasty but for sure it burns. I cannot say what the food was like because, for the first time in my life, I walked out. The server took a moment to greet us, but then he did everything but get our drink order. We had been in the restaurant for 15 mins without him doing anything more than seating us. He answered his own cell phone, he answered the work phone, he got water for a table with glasses 3/4 of the way full, he took care of two other tables..... but not one word.
