I started going about 2 years ago and have become a regular. The food here is tasty, the servers and owner have been very nice to me, my family and my friends. I have encouraged people to come check this out. The food here is very delicious and flavorful. I am very picky when it comes to Thai food because it is one of my favorite types of food. I have tried several things from their menu. If you enjoy spicy food, I definitely recommend Thai style spicy basil with a side of rice. The Curry's are also very delicious as well as the Tom Kha soup. Definitely give this place a try. They also are able to accommodate for groups. The place isn't very big but it's very clean and big enough of hace groups of about 10 people. Definitely call ahead for them to accommodate for a large group as they could sometimes be busy. They need to coordinate their estimated pick up times with their website. I ordered my food and was confirmation e-mail stated a 30 to 45 minute pickup time, but I got a text 7 minutes later saying my food was ready! If I had known it would be that fast I would've ordered inside the restaurant as it takes me 15 minutes to drive there. Needless to say by the time I got home with the food it wasn't hot and had to be microwaved. This was confusing and disappointing. My friend ordered the Spicy Wings and it was not what we expected. The wing was crispy, however we expected the sauce to be more saucy. However, it tasted like buffalo sauce. We also got the fish balls, it did not taste fresh. The last order we got was the drunken noodles with chicken. That had a good taste to it. It was a good mild spice. Not sure why this place got over 4 stars It's quite possible that I need to order more dishes to accurate rate it. I've been here twice and ordered the Drunken Noodles and both times it was underwhelming. I got spicy and it wasn't even spicy. The portion was good for take out but the flavors wasn't there. I also wanted a small bowl of Tom Kha Kha or Tom Yung and they only have the regular large size. I wish they will think about offering a small bowl of the soup. read more

I stopped by here on a Friday during lunch time. Not too crowded and the restaurant was well-decorated to give a clean and 'modern' atmosphere. Noise level was just average and the restaurant could only seat around 40 people so it was not too big. For food I got the Tom Yum Soup lunch special which was on the sweeter side. We also started with an order of the Golden Boats (wontons filled with cream cheese) which were very delicious. The wonton skins were crispy and filled with just the right amount of cream cheese. The sauce on the side compliment it well and tasted like a traditional Thai chili sauce. I'd say it tasted average but is not as good as Thai restaurants that I've had it at. The Drunken Fried Rice sounded like Spicy Fried Rice and also tasted sweeter than other fried rices that I'm used to. It did have it moments of being spicy though and I'm not sure what spices were using since I couldn't spot any until I took a bite and felt the spiciness! I took a few bites of my girlfriend's pad thai which tasted pretty good! Noodles were al dente and the sauce was very flavorful. It was interesting that they used larger sized crispy fried tofu that were somewhat cube-shaped versus other places that slice the tofu into thin rectangles. We got the Crispy Fried Ice cream and Mango Sticky Rice for desert. The crispy fried batter tasted like a donut and paired well with vanilla ice cream although the ice cream did not taste that great. Mango sticky rice's sauce over the rice was too sweet as well but we finished most of it. Overall 3.5-4 stars! I'd most likely return to try more dishes but I'd like to see less sugar (or MSG?) being used in their foods since it makes everything more sweet rather than savory. read more

This Thai Spoon Cafe is by far our favorite Thai Food in the area. It's a bit further than the Loma Linda location but definitely worth the trek. Decorations/style is cute and clean. Staff is always friendly and the owner is great. We order food without fish or oyster sauce and we are always accommodated. We just found out today that the owner goes out of her way to make the sauce for our food for the fried rice, orange tofu, and pad see ew that we always order. My wife and I love visiting the Thai Spoon Cafe. We've been to many of the more popular Thai restaurants in Redlands but this little one, tucked away in a small strip mall, is our favorite hands down. The person who takes the orders is always so friendly, outgoing, and helpful. She always greets us with a big "HELLO!" when we come in. The food is OUTSTANDING. We've tried many items on the menu and I can't say anything has disappointed us. From Panang and Yellow curry meals to the "basics" like orange chicken and fried rice, the food is flavorful and delicious. Went in with big expectations considering its 4.5 star rating. Overall, taste was a bit bland IF you order vegan style. In all fairness, they did tell us the taste would change (as the food was coming out, lol), so I won't knock it down for that. Everything has oyster sauce, but they can remove it on request. However, they don't really have vegan sauces, so you obviously lose most of the flavor. We got the drunken noodles, veggie mix with tofu, and broccoli with tofu. Portions are a bit small--I ate both the drunken noodles and the veggie mix and still felt hungry. You can also sub steamed veggies for your rice if you get an entree, but they charge $1 extra. The steamed veggies are literally just that--steamed with no sauce (we didn't have a problem with that, though). read more

It was a late evening helping out a friend in Redlands and needed some food to fill our bellies. A search for Thai food was initiated. This place popped up with good ratings and very close. Small little place wedge between a donut shop and liquor store center. Place was nicely decorated and was seated right away. It's wasn't too packed. Seemed like they had a front and a delivery staff. Maybe a chef in the back. Very small operation. We ordered a chicken Panang and a mild spicy chicken basil. The Panang was absolutely delicious with tender chicken served with a small side of rice. Next time I'll ask for medium heat. The spicy basil chicken dish. The chicken was again very tender but the sauce was just way too gravy like for me. The prices are bit on the high side for Thai food but it's worth it for it to taste fresh and delicious. Not worth having cheap food and being uneatable. Definitely coming back read more

This place is my new favorite since moving to the area a few months ago! Great Pad See Ew, cashew stir fry, and absolutely delicious mango sticky rice!! In this time of Covid isolation, they also have an app that you can order takeout and delivery from, and it's really great!! I usually get takeout and it's just waiting for me on the counter, already paid for, with a friendly greeting from them a respectful distance behind the counter. This restaurant always has the best food, the best serving time and accutate take out readniess. Of course once in a great while there is a delay in service. But that has been rare in the 10+ years that I have been eating there. The take out is my favorite because I like the quieter meals on the weekends. Last night we had yellow curry with white rice, fried rice with chicken, broccoli and beef and pad thai with shrimp. Everything was hot and ready to go when they said it would be. Amazing! We're tried pretty much every Thai place in Redlands and this is my new favorite spot. Came here for the first time this weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the modern decor/interior. The young waitress and waiter were super friendly, accommodating and happy to answer our questions about which items were vegan. We ordered tofu pad Thai, tofu pad see ew, and crispy tofu appetizer.
