I was excited to have a new Thai restaurant in town. The place looks great. Clean and decorated nicely. Service was great. Friendly and they came and clean the tables around quite well. However, food is average in taste for Thai food. The taste is rather weak. Amazingly, the waitress never asked how "spicy" we want things cooked. So the dishes were on the bland side for Thai food. I am not sure we would be back. It's only a MAYBE for us. Location is a deterrent. Not a great part of Redlands. read more

Great new place for quality Thai food. The food was tasty and all the ingredients were very fresh. I got the yellow curry and my mom got the sweet and sour shrimp and they were both great! The outside doesn't look all that great but the inside is beautifully decorated and the staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend that you give this new place a try! read more

This is our go-to Thai place! Out of all the Thai places in the area my family probably hits up this joint the most. I also frequently get take-out here. They have good portion sizes and noodles are always cooked well, never overdone or mushy. I've tried so many things on the menu and enjoy them all! They can make anything vegetarian friendly. Their food is great every time. Been there 6 times already. Their service is wonderful, and the way they decorated their restaurant on the inside is truly beautiful and up to date with a fresh modern look and feel. I love how they are also looking out for us customers by creating a clean pen jar versus a used jar for us to use when needing to sign the food take out payment slip/receipt. They are so thoughtful! We also celebrated a family members birthday there back in February, brought cake and the entire place joined us in song. Yum, yum, yum! So, my mom and I were on the hunt for a great Thai place and we chose Thai Spoon Cafe! Definitely a great choice! Really exceeded my expectations! As soon as we walked in, we were immediately greeted and the customer service was great! We started off with appetizers- the fish cakes. Yum, yum, yum! They were very flavorful and moist with the best sweet sauce with some crushed peanuts. Yummy! Then my mom and I shared their Thai Spoon fried rice which was so delicious with chicken, veggies, and had a nice touch of sweetness with pineapple. Then we also shared the spicy basil chicken which was not too spicy. It had just enough spice and sweetness with the basil. So yummy. One thing I want to highlight is that the food was not greasy at all. In some Thai restaurants, the food is very oily, but this one had lightly oiled food and excellent flavors and pairings. We were so full but could not skip out on dessert to end this lovely meal. We went bold and got the roti paratha (made with butter) with coconut ice cream! Oh. My. Gosh! So delicious! This is the only way roti should be enjoyed- sweet! It was so crispy and yummy and with the coconut ice cream- wow! The coconut ice cream was so light and had a sorbet-like lightness without the ice taste. It was still creamy, but so light at the same time! Not a very imposing place in a convenient shopping center. I wasn't expecting much, and was pleasantly surprised. Place was comfortable and uncrowded. Menu had plenty of choices without being overwhelming, and most dishes could be prepared vegetarian. The Tom Kha soup was delicious and meatless veggie entrees were fresh, hot, cooked just right, and very tasty. Server was friendly, patient and efficient. We have eaten at multiple Thai food locations and this is reasonably priced and Everything was very tasty. The tofu we ordered was so crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The peanut sauce could be a bit more thicker but it's still as tasty. The pad Thai and cashew chicken both tasted great and the Thai spoon fried rice was good also just needs more pineapple for my taste. The inside of the restaurant is pretty small but very nice. Will definitely be coming back as it's super close to my house. And can't wait until they get delivery set up. read more

We ate in on their second night open, and the food was very flavorful and good value (quantity, quality, and price). We ordered glass noodles, which was a beautiful dish with all the veggies and it tasted great, and panang curry with chicken which had the right amount of spice and great coconut milk and curry flavor. The chicken was higher quality cuts compared to some other Thai restaurants, for the same price. Service was friendly and professional, they filled our drinks several times and brought our food out promptly. We also had a fish ball appetizer which was good with the spicy sweet dip, but we probably wouldn't order it again. The restaurant interior is very nice! I was really excited when I saw this spot about a half a mile from my house opening. I love Thai food. Order a chicken pad Thai the first order, fantastic, full of flavor and large portions. The second time I order I got more of a variety. The chicken spicy basil dish was was awesome. I have tried quite a bit of the menu, and everything is tasty. Customer service is top notch. I have seen a lot of places open in the exact spot and shit down within a month or so within the last 3 years of living here. We enjoyed the Thai Spoon Fried Rice, Shrimp Fried Rice, Shrimp Yellow Curry, and few others I can't recall, also the owner/chef even prepared a dish for us that wasn't on their menu (Spicy Bamboo with beef) but was listed on the online menu of the other location owned/run by her mother. We thoroughly enjoyed every bite. We also had a delicious shaved ice dessert they sell which featured shaved ice with Thai fruits/goodies... my first time having that dish and it was delightful. First off, this is such a cute little place. We got the Tom Kah, pad see ew and orange chicken. My mom rant and raved about how good the soup was. I absolutely LOVED Thai spoon cafe - it has everything I would want out of a Thai restaurant located in a strip mall - good service, good food and great prices. I got the veggie fries spring rolls as well as the tofu drunken noodles. The food was slightly greasy (which is why I knocked one star off of a potentially 5 star IMHO place) but the flavors were still on point. Portions were large, and the tofu was flavorful and delicious. My boyfriend got yellow chicken curry, and aside from there being slightly too much oil on top, he really liked his dish. We work at a Medical Building in town and order from this place at least twice a month. Today my coworker ordered on the app and forgot to say "soft" tofu in the comments for one of our orders. She tried calling every few minutes for a half hour to let them know but nobody ever answered the phone.
