We have been coming here for years. The food is always great, but the service, not so much. In most good restaurants it is traditional for a server or hostess to seat you and bring drinks within a couple minutes even if the place is busy and they can't take your food order yet. Not here. Here you are seated quickly, then you wait 5-15 minutes wondering if they forgot about you. Even when they are not busy we have waited and waited for someone to acknowledge us. This is hands down the best Thai food restaurant in town. I've been here since day one, before renovations and expansion. First off, it's a clean location, staff is friendly and catering. In addition, the cook and management are friendly and very much involved in the process. Most importantly, the food is delicious, I've tried multiple dishes since going to this restaurant and I've never ever had a problem with my food. I've only consumed dishes with tofu and dishes with seafood, I live a pescatarian/vegetarian dietary lifestyle so I cannot comment on dishes with other meats. However, my significant other does consume chicken and beef and has never complained about the flavor of the dishes. I love going to this restaurant for lunch or dinner and never get tired of going here. Everytime I get my food I have a happy dance moment because the food smells authentic and savory, and most of the time I'm ready to dig in. I definitely recommend you try this restaurant. read more

Went with work group to celebrate office birthdays. Looks smaller from outside but was pleasantly surprised. Although we were greeted right away, it did take some time to give drink orders, then a while longer for our appetizer and food orders however, once everything got started, it was great. I ordered the shrimp pad thai (delicious) plus I tried the fried tofu appetizer. All in all, I enjoyed it. I think they need a few more staff, but it was a nice experience. Will go back! read more

This is by far the best Thai food I have ever had. The Pad See Ew was heavenly. I walked in for a take out order for my boyfriend and I and we were surprised by how nice the restaurant looks on the inside. It is very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and my order was ready within ten minutes. We ate until we couldn't fit another bite ... and then we went back the next day for dinner. I came here with coworkers as one of them recommended coming here. The place is in an old strip mall with not much else in the surrounding area. I got the pad thai noodles with chicken. It was delicious and they give a generous amount at a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back to try their other dishes. My first inclination was to give this a bad review so as to deter people from crowding "my" Thai place. But I can't, I just can't. It's the best Thai food around!! Small restaurant that gets PACKED during lunchtime, extremely reasonable prices. The staff is so nice and friendly! I was never a curry fan until I came here - they have totally changed my opinion of curry. The red curry (spicy) is so good and will cure what ails you! Try this restaurant for the first time with a lunch special.dish - my favorite is the spicy basil. Everything is incredibly fresh and flavorful, even the individual salad leaves me amazed. I finally ventured to try some new dishes including pad see ew and red curry. I was absolutely amazed how good these perfectly portioned meals were. Just the right amount of spice, it was the best meal I've had in ages. If you're a vegetarian, this restaurant won't disappoint. You can substitute tofu for any meat in any dish- in fact, I prefer their tofu! It's the best tofu I've had. What a surprise to have such a great Thai restaurant in little old highland. Alright, to start I have tried many different places around here looking for a good place for Thai food as me and my girlfriend love thai. After giving a few different places a shot they all seemed to fall short on somthing while surprising us with others. Now, I was dragged here as I was tired of trying places and them falling short, but i am so happy i came here. The food is absolutely amazing! We always try a wonton with chicken and this one was great. The chicken is seasoned with add some depth and the sweet and sour sauce did not disappoint. Their pot stickers where really good as well and the sauce that comes with them is sort of sweet and has a little bit of a spice to it. The Tom Kha soup we ordered was great as well, had a little spice to it and was just very satisfying. We also liked the Yellow curry so much we had to order a 2nd one! Not very spicy but was still the best we have had! We will be coming back, absolutely loved it! And I almost forgot one of the best things. Just a note to anyone considering Brian's review below--he is an idiot, not only because he is so aggressive and arrogant and downright mean, but also because he thinks Orchid Thai and Thai House are better restaurants. Both those places are disgusting--probably the worst Thai food in the Redlands area. I have been to Thai Spoon more than 40 times in the past three years and it has been amazing EVERY time. The servers have been incredibly kind and accommodating EVERY time. I bring new people there a lot and they become repeat customers EVERY time. Highly recommend! I think this is the best option for Thai in the Redlands, Highland area. They give generous portions at reasonable prices as opposed to Thai House in Redlands that really started skimping on their portions. Service is impeccable. Someone let me know when they have their website running, or have a to-go menu. Because the yellow curry was delicious. However, I waited 50 minutes for it and two other items. As I was waiting for them to make the food, people kept coming in for their takeout, so I figured I'd be able to grab a to-go menu for next time. So I asked on the way out, and was told, Sorry, we're changing the menu so I can't give you our to-go menu. Okay, how about a website? Sorry, they're working on that too. I guess it's harder than I thought to cross out the items no longer available so they can have a few new customers. Because I personally saw plenty of people still ordering from that to-go menu. So like I said... when you've got a menu to give me so I can call in an order, let me know, because I think I'd rather have some buttered toast and beans than spend another hour getting takeout when I'd rather be watching Doctor Who. The other Thai place in town won't give me a menu either. I'm starting to suspect a conspiracy. UPDATE: My friend's orange chicken made his stomach boil and bubble all evening. I seriously heard it from across the room. And, this morning he has more pain. My stomach is fine, but I guess that's just luck of the draw for my stomach bugs. It was very crowded when I went. There wasn't enough help to served so many customers. The dishes I ordered was very flavorful and authentic. I looked at an old menu so the prices were wrong! :( the food tasted good however I think for the price the portion should be a tad bigger!
