Let me start off by saying I usually always go to the Redlands location but they are closed Monday's. I ordered the chicken pad Thai spicy and the noodles were completely different and it had a burnt taste. Not at all what it should taste or look like. I also ordered the prik king with beef and chicken and I had a few pieces of meat it was mostly green beans. Which is annoying because I payed extra to have both meats. the service there was not great. I had someone just completely ignore me until someone else came finally to help me. Found this place by "accident." Reviews where pretty good so we tried it out. Location of establishment isn't the best but inside the restaurant was done well. I order the red curry which has great flavor, wish it was spicer but that's ok. Chicken was cooked well and wasn't rubbery like some Thai restaurants. My wife ordered the Penang Curry which was very sweet in comparison to the red. We also shared an appetizer of "golden boats" they were very tasty! Got food poisoning from this place... Came to Thai Spoon (Highland location) went in and were told that they were closing at 830pm. So we were going to leave but was told to stay and order. We did... and 5 minutes later our food came out (which was questionable) but it was hot and seemed to have been prepared, cooked properly. And then 6.5 hours later... I woke up to severe, excruciating stomach pains. Both my husband and I had stomach pains. But I got the worst of it. It felt like my insides were being twisted and pulled apart. I was dizzy & nauseated. Could not move for the love of God from much pain. I'm apprehensive to post this but... damn... please use judgement before eating at places when food comes out quickly. It'll save you some sleep and stomach pains in the long run. Food tasted great but it definitely was NOT COOKED PROPERLY. Food poisoning is the worst!!! read more

I really enjoyed my meal. I had the Thai bbq chicken. It was really good but the star was the green cilantro sauce that comes with it. OMG. We had a large party of 12 but the service was still excellent. We were served in good time. No long wait. They were very organized and deserved their tip. And i happily add that even though we were a large party, there was no drama in splitting the meals for payment. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. We felt relaxed there so we stayed quite a while. Wow, I can see why this place gets five stars! We loved it! Not sure why it took us so long to try it, we live just 10 miles away. I ordered the mixed veggies with chicken, comes with white rice and it was excellent. Delicious sauce and nice fresh veggies. My man had fried rice with everything in it... excellent as well. It does have pineapple in it which was surprising, easy to pick out or delete when ordering, but we enjoyed it. This will definitely be our go-to for Thai from now on. The food was good, however the staff was blatantly racist. We were the only Black table and were barely tended to, our water cups remained empty while the surrounding tables received consistent service and fill up's. I came in on a Saturday evening around 4:00 with one other person. Inside the restaurant, there were only 2 other families besides us, therefore it was not busy at all. Our waiter was a women named CJ, right from the get go she was rude. We ordered several appetizers: 1. Shrimp tempura 2. Spicy beef salad 3. Chicken satay 4. Wontons 5. Veggie egg rolls Then we ordered 2 entrees: 1. Peppered steak 2. Orange chicken Throughout our time at the restaurant, CJ did not ask how we were doing or refilled our drinks. Each time we needed something, we would need to get up near the register and ask for what we needed. Aside from the attitude, eye rolls, and unwelcoming attitudes gave us much discomfort. I would really hesitate on visiting this restaurant again, there are other restaurants in the area like Thai House in Redlands that has a more welcoming ambience. This review is for takeout order. I ordered online for pickup, 2 entrees, 1 soup, 1 appetizer and 1 salad. I also gave a tip with online payment. Upon pick up, we asked if the order was complete and was assured that yes everything ordered was ready. However, once home, discovered that the salad was missing ( this is the second time this has happened). I phoned the restaurant and was told that the salad would be refunded. 5 days later and no refund. I will not call them back to request refund instead I am spending my time writing an unfavorable review. I suppose customers must tear apart tightly tied to go bags and waste resources and time to ensure their order is correct. And lastly, tipping in advance does not promise anything. read more

Today I ordered takeout and it wasn't the experience I expected and I've been coming here for almost 4 years coming from Yucaipa. First of all, I'm always having difficult time understanding the person over the phone taking my order as like they have 100 things going on at once. My main issue today was, my wife ordered a drunken chicken fried rice and it barely had any chicken and all rice. The pricing for their dishes are outrageous now. They use to be reasonable a few years back and yes, I understand minimum wage is going up every year but if you start looking at other Thai restaurants around town or drive 5 to 10 more miles, you can find reasonably prices like for red chicken curry for $8.95 when Thai Spoon charges $11, when their portions are still the same or smaller at times. The pricing and the area where the restaurant is located at isn't the greatest or the safest. read more

I've always been a thai food fan especially chicken pad thai... well I was blessed to have been referred over to this little spot by a good friend and WOW... I've been a regular now since December 2021.. I don't go anywhere else for chicken pad thai, a nice glass of Chardonnay and some delicious crispy pot stickers!!! The environment is peaceful enough for me to bring my laptop and get some work done. They do get busy sometimes but mostly with to-go orders so I usually dine in by myself and relax. I have brought my family as well and they love it as much as I do... I love the owners they're so friendly and know me every time I go in. I was hesitant on leaving a review because I loveeee this place so yes I wanted to gatekeep for myself HAHAH.. but they deserve a good review because they're awesome and their food is amazing.
