Thai Spoon is the best Thai restaurant I've been to in the Redlands, Highland, San Bernardino area so far. Their food has flavor and they give a good amount for what you pay for. They've been running their business since 2008, and they're open for dine in and takeout. They have an easy online ordering system and they offer catering. The don't have desserts and they don't have massaman curry, which is my favorite. My friends enjoyed their Thai spoon, fried rice and pad Thai. All I can really attest to is the yellow curry and Thai tea. I love that they offer soft tofu or fried tofu through online ordering. I had the curry with the soft tofu, and it was so bomb. It was slightly too spicy for me, but I toughened up and finished every last bit of it. Sweet, salty, and spicy. The Thai tea was also excellent. read more

Love this Thai restaurant near our home. They do get really packed around lunch time, but the food is worth the wait. For a small restaurant in San Bernardino the Thai food is delicious! Some of the best Thai food I have had in the area. The service is quick, and the owner is really friendly. The prices are fair and you get a decent amount of food. My husband and I usually share our plates to try multiple dishes. We have yet to be disappointed and always love how clean the restaurant is. It is located in a pretty busy strip mall, and parking is sometimes tight. This was a cute little restaurant, decorated quite nicely with maps and pictures of Thailand. We ordered: Glass noodle salad: I was expecting it to be cold or room temp instead of warm, and it was saucier than I imagined. Flavor was okay, though a bit one-tonal to me. It didn't have the usual kick or texture that I was looking for. It also came with a little side of lettuce, which I wasn't exactly wowed over. What I really couldn't stand was the ground chicken--it didn't taste fresh and actually tasted like the smell of raw chicken when it's been left out too long (slightly rancid?) I kicked those pieces off to the side and hoped for the best--I didn't get sick! Pad thai: The noodles are a slightly thicker, less chewy and more dense consistency than what we're used to. The sauce was also different, meaning saucier and once again, lacking some kind of kick to our taste buds. The pork that came with it was too fatty for my partner as well. My other friend who had it said it was fine though. Overall, I can't say I was very satisfied with our meals...especially that weird tasting chicken. read more

My family and I love this place. We've been going here for about 20 years and have never been disappointed.

We just ate here, again, and it's still good! We had green curry and green bean chicken. I love that the green beans and carrots are tender-crisp and not overcooked. The service was great, as usual. I tried the spicy basil tofu and it was quite salty. I'm a big fan of salt but this was too much. Would give it another shot but would order a different dish. This restaurant was great lunch spot . The lunch specials went up to $10.99 and they took away the soup my favorite part of the meal. I ordered cashew chicken and I would say less than 1oz of chicken was in my plate. What's the point of having a lunch special when it costs as much as a plate. Okay I've been here before but it was so long ago I don't remember how it was. I went today to grab lunch with my pastor, I got the Panang Curry. Extra extra spicy, with seafood! It had bell peppers, zucchini, shrimp, scallops, calamari, mussels, and lobster I believe. All in a coconut based basil curry! Oh my god it was to die for! By far the best curry I've had in so long!
