Had a business lunch at Thai Square and had a great experience. The restaurant was semi-busy for the lunch rush but there was no wait, it was quiet enough to conduct business and the service was attentive and great. The restaurant was small and I didn't notice any particular theming in the decor, but I also know the recently opened so not sure if they plan to add any additional decor in the future. The food was great! I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Chicken with medium spice. Would rate it a 9/10. The entree came with plenty of food and the spice level was a bit higher than what I would consider medium but nothing to overbearing. Great, simple vibes with tasty food and the most memorable Thai tea. Was looking for a place to relax and have authentic, comfortable conversations with good friends and Thai Square provided just the right abode. All of my friends were impressed and left so in love with the place. I'll rate each dish we had based off my taste (I'm also a Thai food snob) Cream cheese rangoon- 7/10 tasty, unique, crunchy Thai tea- 10/10 classic!!! Chicken noodle soup spicy- 6/10we were warned but the spice was wildddd, the broth was basic but good and reminded me of pho Kha soi- 7/10 I wish there were more noodles and the broth was rich and yum but the part with beef tasted different and not consistent with top of broth Fried chicken fried rice- 9/10 YUM!!!! so savory and amazing flavor Pineapple frice- 7.5 wish there was a bit more umami but taste is clean and comforting. Ambiance: Plenty of seating and tables can be combined for large parties. There was a party of 16 when we arrived on a weekday night and still plenty of additional tables to sit at. To-Go orders can be made at the counter, dine in can be at your table. Food: We ordered the Pad Thai, medium spicy with chicken, the hot Yellow chicken curry with rice, and the roti dip. The food is Thai spicy - so don't order hot if you can't handle it! It was so good, spicy but still can taste all of the bold flavors. We both loved our food and we had enough to take home. The roti was super crisp and chewy, though on the small side. Plenty of yellow curry to dip it in and it came with a cucumber and onion salad that was surprisingly sweet. Appetizer for one, really. Service: Super helpful and friendly waitstaff. Greeted us upon entry and brought menus over quickly. Food came out quickly and tables cleared just as efficiently. Lots of people came in and out for to go orders and lots of tables inside, but still managed it all. This was one of the best Thai Restaurants in this area in a long while and we will definitely return! read more

Slightly small space, but nice ambience at Thai Square in Richmond, TX. Not too busy on a weekday night. Service was alright. The highlight of the dinner imo was the appetizer, spicy chicken wings (6pc). Crispy, hot, and delicious! Kao soy w/ chicken was average. Enjoyed it but not addicting. There are other Thai restaurants with better Khao soi. Basil fried rice w/ beef; only gripe was the mushy rice. Taste was there and beef quality was good, but the rice is usually more dry for this type of dish. Not sure if I would dine here again. read more

I am so happy a location opened on the Richmond side of 99. I frequent the one on 90 and 99 and both locations are great. Their pad thai is authentic, and custom made to order. I like spicy, but a #1 on the spice scale is as high as I can go! so keep that in mind. If anyone gets a #5 on the spice scale here, I'd love to know. This location is casual and not pretentious and does not have PORK dishes-- fyi! that's the main difference from the one on 90 in Sugar land.
