This cute little shop is located right off of University in front of COSTCO. I've been here many times and I love this Thai place. We go on Sunday afternoons and they're able to seat a whole bunch of us. So it's good for big parties just call ahead of time. The food is always solid and the portions are huge, I love chicken pad thai, and I love their massamun curry. Theirs are on the sweeter side, so just a forewarning! I want to say that their food is catered to the palate of Americans. I've also had their papaya salad and that's also delicious. Their menu is big and their prices are fair, and it's all so filling as well. Our server without fail is Ruk. I love his sarcasm and his demeanor, he's an awesome server that regularly checks in on us and makes sure everyone gets their food. I love his accuracy and he's very playful and I enjoy that. I'll be in again soon!

Very cute and clean place. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was very very delicious. Staff boxed up the left overs. Lunch special was generous portions. Very affordable. Sweet sausage fried rice is 10/10 out of this world. The soup and salad with the lunch special also 10/10 delicious. Definitely will be back.

If you're looking to have some Thai that's better than most in the Sugar Land area, this is it! Its always poppin' here at Zapvor. From the makers of Thai Spice, think of this as a more complex and authentic version of its counterpart. The parking can be hard to come by in this plaza since it is shared with so many other restaurants. The atmosphere is casual and laid back with mainly booths and some tables. Servers are very attentive and check on the tables often. This spot has a decent sized menu ranging from curries to noodles, noodle soups to rice plates, a lot of appetizers and a handful of dessert options. We shared a plate of bbq pork skewers which were flavorful but more on the sweet side, with meat that was tender and moist. The khao soi gai (Northern style curry with quarter chicken) was very well executed. It boasts a ton of flavor and the crispy noodles made the texture really unique. If you want to sub the quarter chicken with sliced chicken or other protein they let you! The shrimp tom yum noodle soup was not my favorite at this restaurant. While the noodles and shrimp were good itself, the tom yum soup was not. I was quite disappointed with the soup base because it is supposed to be strong, hot, and sour! It was actually quite weak in flavor, not spicy enough at medium intensity, and also not sour enough. I feel like it was watered down. Overall a decent Thai spot in Sugar Land but you'll definitely need to venture out in Houston for better ones ;)

Craving Thai?! Just stop. This is the spot!!! I'm super picky with Thai food and the flavors here are so on point. For appetizers, we got the Calamari which was tender and the shape of onion rings. Delish! Also the vegetarian curry puff- normally I would get chicken yet it tastes like a samosa. I didn't get photos of the appetizers because we might have been starving and forgot lol. For lunch though, I got the green curry with shrimp (only because it's Lent, normally I would get pork). Oh my gosh, best green curry hands down!! My son got the pork belly and he devoured that bowl with white rice. For dessert, just look at the pics!! sweet banana fried eggrolls yum yum yum!! You need to just pull over, now.

Fantastic service and hands down the best Thai food in Sugar Land! It saved me a trip to Thai Spice in southwest Houston. The Pad Thai really hit the spot, and the mango-flavored tea was a refreshing bonus. If you're dining with kids, the children's menu is surprisingly solid too. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving authentic Thai flavors!

Food was excellent. Tried the papaya salad for the first time and I think I have a new favorite. It was SO refreshing. We ordered a level one and the heat gave it a little nice kick. The green curry was good and so were the dumplings. Service was Ok.

Best Thai food in Sugar Land! Service is quick and friendly and the restaurant itself is cute and nicely decorated. They offer beer, wine, and sake based cocktails and offer happy hour every day from 3-6 pm. The lunch special is a great deal (comes with a small soup, salad, spring roll and entree) and the portions are solid. I recommend the wings, red curry, pad gratiem and pad kee mao.

It gets a five since I'm not even a fan of Thai food. I had the sautéed string beans and peppers and got it with pork it was delicious. Hand a Singha beer. Yeah. My partner had the panang curry with chicken. He said his only complaint was the sauce was a bit thin. We had an order of fried spring rolls they were excellent. And I believe the coconut ice cream is home made. Oh and a full bar fyi. Great food and very friendly service.

Zapvor is a Thai restaurant in the Sugar land area that also has a bar for drinks. I went with a friend to eat dinner and we were welcomed with warm greetings. I ordered a Khao Soi which was a coconut curry chicken with noodles. It was creamy yummy and delicious. In addition, I order the classic pad Thai to go along with it. We were stuffed at the end of our dinner as their portion are pretty big.

My family and I saw that this new Thai spot open near us and we wanted to try them out. We ordered a bunch of stuff via takeout. Here's our breakdown of the items: Khao soi (not pictured): I ordered this at the spicy hot level. It was my favorite dish! It had a flavorful and creamy curry, egg noodles, and crunchy noodles, which gave it a nice texture contrast. I really appreciated the generous amount of chicken. I think there were at least 3 large chicken pieces. This dish was on par with Trinity Street Food's Khao Soi, IMO. Pad Thai: My family ordered this dish at Thai hot. It was not too sweet and the heat was building with each bite. Next time, I'll add some lime for some acidity. I liked this noodle dish. Pad Kee Mao: Good wok hey. But, this entree lacked basil in it. Tom yum soup (not pictured): Very spicy at Thai hot. Right amount of sourness to it as well. Tom kha soup (not pictured): Obviously, a mellower soup. It was a bit much on the coconut milk. Thai fish cake: Good fish cake taste. But, it lacked the chunks of lemongrass in it that I'm familiar with when I order this at other Thai spots. Chicken curry puff: meh, kinda bland. I didn't taste any chicken or curry. Gai Yang (charcoal chicken leg quarter): my lil bro stated this tasted like bbq teriyaki chicken. He didn't think this was worth ordering next time. Penang curry (not pictured): This was a flavorful curry, but a bit sweeter than I'd like. It wasn't my favorite curry dish. I'd choose the Khao soi over this curry. Overall, this seemed like a solid Thai spot. I would recommend this spot primarily for the noodles and Khao soi curry. We haven't tried all the other items on their menu. So, I will update if there's any other delicious eats here. Come check them out if you're in the area.

I have passed by their restaurant many times, but it never occurred to me to go in until one day I was surprised to see them ranked in the top 100 ramen places nationally on Yelp! With less than 300 reviews, I was skeptical at first but was intrigued to give it a try, and I'm so glad that I did! I visited on a Friday afternoon right before New Year's and was greeted warmly by the staff inside. As I was indecisive on what to order in the ramen section, I asked the staff for suggestions. She was kind to walk me through the menu without rushing to get an order, and she mentioned that their most popular item is actually the beef noodles. That was all I needed to make a decision to try the beef noodles. While waiting for the food, I chatted with the staff and learned that the restaurant opened right before the pandemic then shifted their model to take-out only as the pandemic begin. Since then, they've tried to make use of their restaurant space to return to dine-in but it has been difficult to find reliable workers. In the interest of keeping the quality consistent and customers happy, they've decided to make sacrifices to keep the business model as is for take-out only instead of scaling up with additional staff, which is such a shame given the rent in the area is not cheap and they have such a beautiful space! When you hear "take-out only", I know what you're thinking, BUT I promise you this is the best takeout food you will ever have! The packaging is very well-designed to keep the flavors and ingredients at its finest! As I mentioned, I ordered the beef noodles, and typically noodle dishes are not ideal for takeout, but Asia Blue separates the soup from the noodles so that the noodles are not soggy, and even after half hour, the soup stayed warm and flavorful. The noodles also came paired with many mini side dishes as palate cleansers, which were a nice surprise. From my conversation with the staff, I've also learned that this is one of the rare places that truly make their broth fresh from premium ingredients! You can be sure that it's MSG free and packed with healthy nutrients, and that's a quality that you can taste. I highly recommend this place for your next ramen adventure, and I certainly will be returning again very soon to try the other menu items. :)

Since it is only two people, it can be slow to get your food when it is busy. I waited an additional 20 mins from the projected time it was suppose to be done. As for the food, the miso ramen was packed in this fancy box. The box contained the soup separated from the noodles with a few side dishes. I believe this is the only vegi ramen they offer. It is nothing special. The broth is basically miso soup with soy sauce. (2 out of 5) The cold sesame noodles was better. It had more flavor. (4 out of 5) The Salt & Pepper Chicken was good (4.5 out of 5). I couldn't help eating it while in the car, as it smelled so good. The Braised Pork over rice was decent. It was cut up thick pork belly, braised in an Asian brown sauce. The flavoring was a little one sided. (3 out of 5). I'm giving this place an overall 3 stars because the food isn't something to rave about. Packaging and presentation were great, but tastes was more important to me.
