Best Thai food in Pearland! I've tried their panang curry, massaman curry and drunken noodles and the food is delicious! Portion sizes are also large. They have many vegetarian options and can make dishes vegan as well. I have noticed that even the mild option carries some spice. Their curries also are heavy on the veggies/tofu to liquid ratio. Suburban Thai food can be lacking but this one hits the spot. We're happy that the Pearland area got this new Thai restaurant! read more

Located where Thai Jasmine previously was. Happy to see Thai Stellar open a Pearland location. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout the whole meal. We never had an empty drink. As far as food, everything was fresh and delicious. The drunken noodles were cooked and seasoned well. You can choose a spice level between 1-5 with level 3 spice being just right. It was a little kick without being overwhelmingly spicy. Of the Thai restaurants in the area, Thai Stellar is high on my list. read more

I stumbled upon this place during my usual search for dinner and I was pleasantly happy that I came across Thai Stellar! I believe this location is new to the area and while tucked around in a mini strip center, the restaurant is very visible with a ton of parking. The inside of the restaurant was clean and quiet. This use to be another Thai restaurant. I believe this is a completely remodel restaurant with new owners. Stop by for lunch and had the lunch special. Almost any dish you order comes with Tom yum soup and wonton chips. We had the Tofu Pad Thai and Pad See Ew Beef. Both were delicious and portioned perfectly. Very tasty and cook just right. There were three other customers when I came to the restaurant. I had the ginger curry with chicken and the drunken noodles with beef. I came in at dinner so I got large portions. The ginger curry is surprisingly milder than your normal red curry- I was worried about the ginger overpowering but as very happy with my order. I like that you can adjust how spicy you want your food to be. I had their Thai tea and an order of sticky rice for dessert. I have been coming to Thai Stellar for a while now, and I have to say their service and quality of food is seriously top notch. When you walk in you are greeted by an inviting open layout, and are allowed to choose where you sit (both booths and standard tables available). It's a quiet, laid-back setting with low volume music playing in the background. Today I ordered their Pad Thai and Mango sticky rice, and I must say this is one of the better Pad Thai's I've had. The flavor is really well balanced and the portion size is enough to get two meals out of it. Alongside that, I was curious about their foreign beers; our waitress happily suggested a Singha beer local to Thailand which was a nice addition to my meal. Now the mango sticky rice is a treasure beyond your wildest dreams. The beautifully ripe mango with two mounds of green sticky rice makes for a textural masterpiece. To top it off, a mixture of warm coconut milk and simple syrup balanced with the slightest hint of salt makes for one of the best desserts I've ever had. I've been here a few times now. The food and service have been outstanding. I've had the Drunken Noodles with beef and chicken, excellent. Every single dish we ordered was full of flavor!!! We absolutely love Pad See Eww and their green curry! Lots of veggies in their dishes and we love that! They are the best I've eaten. Everything we ordered was amazing. This is my new favorite Thai restaurant in Pearland. The ambience and decor is night and day from the previous restaurant. The chairs are also very conformable! Heres everything I ordered and would def order again! Mussamun Curry with chicken, lowest spice level Pad Thai with chicken, spice level 2 Pad See-Ew with beef, spice level 2 Fried Rice with chicken - Amazing, I was actually surprised but this one. Level 2 was perfect for me, I don't really like spicy. But I will probably try level 1 next time so that my son can eat some. They've only recently opened, so they were def not prepared for the amount of people that came on a random Thursday lunch. Legit 5 star! Only been open for a month. You can smell the food as you walk in hitting your nose. Food was Amazing , Service was Exceptional and the Ambiance is nice, fresh and clean. We ordered Egg rolls for Appetizers and they were tasty and fresh! Seafood pho which had a bit of everything from the sea in it. So happy they're in Pearland now! I've been going to their NASA location for about 8 years now and their league city/Santa Fe for about a year and I love them all the same! My pad SeeEw was as great as it usually is and the yellow curry was great! We ordered two Thai teas and they were perfectly sweetened, it didn't taste the usual with flavor level but I still enjoyed it. The decor is very intimate and beautiful. We had one server and she was the only person we saw the entire time, she was so sweet and attentive. The previous Thai place there was my go to Thai but they went downhill with a not so great health rating and never recovered. Have been many times but sometimes after a visit you are just like " wow, this was so amazing! ". I had been ill for days and finally able to eat again, this visit. This place is one of my regular spots. I especially like the panang curry and the pineapple fried rice. You should try their regular ice tea, it's uniquely spiced compared to other places. Their spice levels (1 thru 5) are not as hot as other Thai places but they will go higher than 5 if you ask. Service is always friendly and attentive here. They don't serve alcohol, but it's a good place for a date; although they've very recently started making their employees wear uniform ball caps which I think is a mistake and clashes with the atmosphere. Dining at Thai Stellar was overall a pleasant experience with a few ups and downs. First off, the ambiance was cozy and calm as there were light-up fish that lined the ceiling and beautifully decorated murals lining the walls. The restaurant's unique atmosphere was an amazing aspect that welcomed us warmly. We came in on a Sunday around 3:30, so it wasn't busy and we were seated immediately. After being seated, we ordered drinks: Thai tea, Sprite, lemonade, and waters. The Thai Tea was worth noting for its sweet, velvety taste. We then ordered our entrees: the Pad Thai with chicken, Pad See Ew with tofu, Drunken Noodles with beef, Red Curry with chicken and beef, and Peppered Steak with sides of fried rice and glass noodles. Upon ordering, the waitress asked if we wanted each dish's spice level on a scale of 1-5. We ordered most dishes at a 2 - 4 spice level. Each dish came at different times, however, on average it took around 15 minutes for our food to arrive. The food portions are quite large and shareable, which makes sense as to why it took a bit long. One thing I would consider when ordering is the spice level, as many of the dishes were not spicy at all, even at level 4. The Pad Thai, Peppered Steak, and Drunken Noodles were all flavorful, saucy dishes and some of the most notable dishes that we recommend. The Pad See Ew was decent and lacked the same flavor that the other dishes had. The Red Curry was a bit too oily and was overpowered by the coconut milk aspect. For dessert, we ordered the Crispy Fried Banana Ice Cream and the Mango Sticky Rice. For the sticky rice, be aware of the coconut flavor as many people in our group had mixed opinions about its taste. The banana ice cream was gooey on the inside and crispy on the outside with a soft, sweet ice cream on top. After ordering the food and receiving our checks, it took around 20 minutes for the waitress to pick up our cards so we could leave. Keep in mind, there were only two other groups in the restaurant and our waitress was on her phone most of the time. After a long 20 minutes, we ended up asking the waitress ourselves for our cards to be taken up and charged. In essence, we enjoyed our food but the service was a bit too slow. read more
