It is quiet and intimate and a good place to grab a meal with your spouse, gf, or with the family. This is not one of those popular turn up places. The service is great and our server checked up on us and made sure our needs were met. Mojito Mocktail: 10/10.. perfectly balanced Lychee Black Tea: 10/10.. on the sweet side but was good and refreshing. Chicken noodle soup: 10/10.. Was good and flavorful. Nothing extra needed to be added and it was the soup of the day. Yellow Curry: 10/10.. This was sweet, flavorful, and a hint of spice. I prefer my food a lot more spicy but it was good. I got level 5 spice btw. It blended well with the rice and the potatoes. I got my yellow curry with shrimp like the server recommended. Went for lunch and had their lunch special. I got the chicken peanut rama and it came with the soup of the day and a veggie egg roll. The portion size is normal, but they serve it on a huge plate so the extra empty space makes it look much smaller. The chicken peanut rama was sweet and nutty. It was different than what I normally get at Thai restaurants and I didn't know what to think of it. It came with a handful of vegetables and rice. Came here for Houston restaurant weeks and loved it! The place was so cute and vibrant. We only had to wait about 10 mins on a Friday night for 5 people. The staff gave quick service and came to get our drink orders as soon as we sat down, since we had to wait to get our table (so nice!!). My family and I came for Houston Restaurant Week and were very pleased with our experience. Despite being a Friday evening, there was ample parking, and we had a short wait before getting seated. The restaurant was sleek and spacious inside. When we pored over the Restaurant Week menu, however, we had a big problem... We couldn't figure out what to get!! Fortunately between 4 people, we got to sample many items: -Thai iced tea & Thai jasmine green tea: for me they were both a touch too sweet, but after the ice watered them down and I finishing the large meal, the extra sweetness was dulled and felt just right -Chicken Sa Té and Wings of Paradise were both excellent, well marinated and seasoned, and not overcooked. Each plate came with enough pieces to share with 2-3 people -For my entree, I got the Tiger Cry and really enjoyed it. The charbroiled meat was soft, had the freshly grilled taste I was hoping for, and not overcooked. The fried rice had the perfect aroma and was not overdone with seasoning, and the steamed vegetables with tangy lime sauce were the perfect additions to complete the meal and complement all the flavors. -To finish, the mango & sweet rice was a good blend of sweet, salty, and a little sour, although I usually prefer my mango more ripe and sweet. Ordered HRW take out from this restaurant over the weekend. For their promotion you get 4 courses, not just 3. I was disappointed that they did not have anymore Curry Puff. That was what I really wanted to try because it was different. I had to settle for the Golden Shrimp, which is just plain tempura shrimp in a dipping sauce. For second course I ordered Tom Yum soup with shrimp - level 3. The spice level just barely medium in my opinion and I could've probably did level 4. I do like that it had a lot of mushrooms, but not enough shrimp. It was like 3 shrimps. For entree I ordered the Red Snapper curry - level 3. Once again, I feel like their levels aren't as spicy as other Thai restaurants, so I could have gotten a 4. The curry tasted good. It also came with steamed jasmine rice and a veggie medley of carrots, broccoli and mushroom. Everything was packed separately. For dessert I had the fried banana and coconut ice cream. I thought it was going to be a whole fried banana, but it was cut up in pieces and fried in the same wrap they use for the rolls. It wasn't crunchy by the time I came around to it but I stuck it in the air fryer for a few min to refresh it. I really liked the coconut ice cream. You can tell it's made fresh with coconut shavings in it. It came with a honey on side to drizzle and the combination of all 3 was a great pairing. I ate the left overs 2 days later and the curry tasted so much better once it soaked in. read more

Pad Thai was not what I'm used to. It was a thick, sticky and sweet mass. I'll give it another chance.

This was a very good Thai experience. There was a bit of a wait when we sat down but that was because of the timing (the restaurant just opened at 5) and there was only the one server. For the appetizer we had the Thai dim sum - really good. I had green curry (one of the best I've had) and hubby had seafood with chili paste. Both were excellent and the portions are a good size. The restaurant does a fantastic take out (during our meal about 15 orders were carried out) ! The restaurant itself is airy and clean but not large. We will be back. read more

The delicious basil sauce can not hide that the Chicken still tastes like fridge and it has been 5 years since my last review. I had moved away so didn't frequent as much. I've now eaten here twice and have been very impressed with the food on both occasions. The panang curry was awesome (with added chicken)! I can also recommend the Sizzling Beef and the Taste of Ginger. I like spicy food and you can select the amount of spice you want (based on a number scale) so it's a good place for people who don't like spice too. I have only ever had the Red Curry and Crab Fried Rice here and have always been pleased with these dishes on those few visits. I ordered the Red Curry with chicken at Level 4 out of 5 on spiciness. This curry was very delicious, full of bamboo shoots, peas, carrots, basil and chicken. The heat level was super tolerable for me, but still satisfying. Almost all of the bamboo shoots in my bowl were well-cooked and soft with some crunchy contrast. The other veggies added even more bite and flavor to the meal in a very positive way. The gravy soaking it all up was very good with a semi-sweet overall taste, noticeable coconut milk, herby basil notes in the sauce and an ideal creamy, consistency. I was surprised to see them empty; especially knowing that the one in Webster and the one by First Colony is always busy with much foot traffic. Fantastic food, excellent customer service, and always consistent, this is one of my all time favorite restaurants! They have more gluten free options than any other restaurant in Pearland. Ive had a few different items from this location. My favorite is probably the wings! Level 5, always level 5. They are crispy and spicy and put wing restaurant to shame. The fried up basil they put on the plate is an added bonus. It's just so good, I could eat them for breakfast lunch and dinner. The green curry with chicken (again, level 5!) is pretty good too. Its not the best curry in the world but for being at a place like this, its pretty good. I love the bamboo shoots that they put in it. The curry over the white rice is tasty. The lunch also comes with an spring roll and a salad or soup. I always get the salad with the peanut sauce. Its kind of on the sweet side but its still pretty good. But this last week I dined in for the first time ever and it was extra special and tasty!! The wings of paradise are the best wings I've ever had!!! They come in the most perfect thick and yummy sauce, I kept the leftover sauce for the rest of my food lol I love that you can customize the spiceness to your liking on nearly all the dishes. That's a huge bonus!! I also ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp and the Pad See Ew with beef. Both at a level 3 spice which had the perfect amount and flavor and spiceness.
