This is my second time having thai food so I wanted to try another location. This place serves delicious food. There was a bit of a wait but was worth it. I got some crispy vegetable rolls to start, pad thai & a thai iced coffee. I am really glad I decided to eat dinner here because I had the best experience. Not only was the food very delicious, my server was so nice and the ambience is so pretty. I would recommend this place if you're really hungry or if you want to come with friends! read more

A few months ago this would have been a five star review. Thai table was our pandemic go-to. Excellent food, great service. Then recently... prices going up, portions going down, and worst of all, quality going down. We received a watery curry in our takeout order -- is coconut milk getting that expensive? It wasn't even solid when we took the leftovers out of the fridge, is how watery the red curry was. And VERY few veggies and tofu in it. Then our Pad See Ew was just ok. Always a large quantity of noodles and seemingly less and less veggies each time we order a noodle dish. This is the first time we have gotten food from Thai Table and I have gone to bed hungry because I didn't want to eat more of it. I would have to say the food is pretty good, portion size is fair for the price. I ordered green curry, thai fried rice, pad see ew, and mango sticky rice. Everything is pretty good got the most part, the portion size is fair for the price. The only down side is the curry does not come with rice for dinner, which makes the curry a bit overpriced if you are having it for dinner since the size is not that big. This has been my #1 takeout throughout the shut down. One time they accidentally sent me a pad see ew rather than what I'd ordered and I've never appreciated a mistake more because now that's my favorite thing. Now, I'm not an expert or even super experienced with Thai food so take that for what it's worth but they're consistent and timely and tasty. Great spot we happened upon on a whim. We ordered the street rice, red curry, yellow curry, and a handful of appetizers. Yellow curry was the best out of everything we ordered, but everything was pretty tasty and fresh. The street rice is topped with a scrambled egg thing that is very tasty and so appetizing looking that we had several other customers ask us what it was. We were a bit surprised that rice is not included with any of the curries and I'd say skip the wine coolers- they're ok but very sweet. Overall solid experience and easy parking. I ordered my dinner from this restaurant and when the GrubHub driver arrived, he delivered an order from a different customer from a different restaurant. I tried to call him back, but my phone glitched and wouldn't show me the caller ID. I called Thai Table and explained that I didn't receive my order. The manager called GrubHub and found out that the driver never picked up my order in the first place. She apologized, but it wasn't really her fault. You're probably wondering why I'm leaving a 5 Star review, right? Well, those 5 Stars are for an awesome manager who got GrubHub to cancel the charge on my credit card, made my food again, sent it with the driver so they could rectify their mistake, and didn't charge me at all for the do-over. The driver was super apologetic and embarrassed, but hey, we all have challenging nights, right? And yes, I tipped them. They didn't have to bring over the complimentary order. But I'm really glad they did. And the manager didn't have to redo my order, but I'm really glad she did. And for the record, I had the crispy rolls, the fresh rolls, and the papaya salad. Absolutely positively phenomenal! My husband and I just had dinner at Thai Table. There was definitely a party going on in my mouth. The calamari and spicy wings are fried lightly and perfectly. We really liked the sauces that went with each. We ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice and the Beef Peanut Sauce with Mixed Vegetables. Both were really, really good. The Fried Rice has great flavors and my husband (beef lover) loved his dish. We're already planning our next trip - seafood and I'm definitely having the cucumber salad. Thank you Ms. Tumi and Mr. Jack - you made sure it was all about a nice experience. Love the decor too! Delicious and big portions. They followed our spiciness requests exactly as well. If you say mild it won't be spicy at all but we didn't specify anything on the curry and it was very spicy. We got pad thai and pumpkin curry. Both amazing. Just wish the curry came with rice. The fried tofu was really good but I do wish they used a different texture of tofu in the curry (it was just boiled regular extra firm I think) but it was still super yummy. Close to 4th Street Berkeley, this place is a hole in the wall. Tried their spicy basil chicken, medium spicy with rice. Usually comes with a lot of vegetables, but I request no zucchini, green beans and it's just perfect. I would recommend this place to anyone who's craving for some Thai food on University Avenue. She checked her log/list and said come on in! Yay, as we were there to just eat at this restaurant all the way from Antioch. Great wait staff and the food was so good. I ordered the green bean entree medium spicy with tofu. It came with carrots, bell pepper,Thai basil, ginger and I think lemongrass. It's the closest any Thai restaurant has come to in replicating the marriage of flavors of what I remember eating in Thailand. They offer a variety of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, too. I wanted to order a non dairy Thai iced tea, however they were out of coconut milk. So, I believe that may be an option as well for plant based eaters. Overall, I think it might just be the best Thai restaurant in Berkeley. The only improvement would be to change the music. I'm simply not a fan of country. read more

Had come expecting a great meal as the reviews look great but came 45 minutes before they closed & as we pulled up the waitress who was talking the obviously bored kitchen staff saw us and immediately turned the open/closed sign around as we walked up. The roti with yellow curry was too sweet for my preference. The music selection was good and my beer glass was clean, the Singha was cold. We ordered beef panang which was like taking a glucose tolerance test, way too much sugar. The mango/rice desert was delivered with green crunchy mango. It was removed from the bill, we requested the curry removed as well; it was barely touched. The basa fish with green beans was tasty but we left with an overall queasy feeling. The overall experience was very food court. Extra star added because they were very gracious about removing the curry and desert from the bill. Superb Thai food and service; lovely vibe; very clean. We enjoyed the fried Eggrolls, pumpkin and potato empanadas (amazing flavor), Thai sausage (had a delicious kick), drunken noodles, pad thai, pumpkin curry, Tiger mango shrimp, brown rice (which was a beautiful purple) and the mango sticky rice. I honestly wish I had a larger stomach. The hostess owner was so honest and friendly. There were 4 of us and I was going to order 2 platters of the noodle dishes. She recommended I start with one and she would be happy to add more if we wanted more. She was very wise. We ended up taking hime food from the single platters we ordered.
