I always try new restaurants when I can. I was happy this place is just a 5 minutes drive from my place. For the food, Im very particular to balancing of the taste. To see if it passes my palette challenge I always order Pad Thai and Tom Kha. Why? Because these food has to balance the sourness, sweetness and saltiness to get to right taste! 3 stars since it wasn't off balance but it did not leave a savory taste. Check your food before you leave the parking lot- Mediocre food and surprisingly small portions (for the price). We ordered 3 different dishes plus a container of peanut sauce, the total came to $79 and some change. First dish was categorized as grilled, the BBQ chicken for $17- the quality was fine, nothing to write home about but oh my gosh, the amount of chicken that we received was about what you would receive off of one satay skewer, I am not exaggerating.... the accompanying salad was probably 1/2 cup. It was really disappointing and surprising. I don't think I've ever received such a small portion of protein when the dish is actually CATEGORIZED as BBQ. We live in Oakland and didn't look at the food until we got home, had I looked at it in the parking lot I definitely would have gone back in the store to inquire if they had run out of chicken since they were closing soon. I'm still a little frustrated by the experience, totally feel ripped off... We also got the pineapple fried rice which was very tasty but also lacking in ingredients and protein. Third dish was the green curry, also for $17- quite flavorful, not a bad portion but rice in NOT included, one would need to purchase that for another $4. The side of peanut sauce cost $8, was less than a 1/2 pint and tasted more of thickener than sauce ingredients. All in all a very dissatisfying experience, right up there with the one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences in quite a long time. read more

I went to Thai Table many times and today I feel like I wanted to give them a review! My favorite is chicken satay. The chicken is very moist and juicy. Best chicken satay in Bay Area. I also like their Pad See Ew with pork. I ordered it to go last week for my lunch the next day. I heated it up in a microwave, the noodles did not stick to each other and was not mushy at all. It's also still delicious. Thai tea is also good. If I am in the mood of Thai tea, I will not go to Boba place. This place was a much better. Strong Thai tea favor and not too sweet. They do not have Boba balls though, just FYI. Besides, I have also tried their Pad Thai, Phuket Talay, BBQ Pork, Lemon grass chicken and mango with sticky rice. They are all yummy. One bite and couldn't take another. The only reason I gave 3 stars was due to excellent service. The Fresh Prawn roll was good however the Chicken Pad Thai was pretty bad. I honestly took one bite and couldn't take another bite...that bad, it tasted like a dirty sock. read more

Sorry they have new owners/cooks here. I was a once or twice a week customer when the previous owner made delicious pinapple/chicken yellow curry with bell peppers. The new owners changed the recipe and now it's not very good with potatoes and carrots instead of bell peppers, and there was hardly any pineapple - plus the rice was over-cooked and lumpy. I'll no longer be a weekly customer. I was spoiled with previous owners and wish Andy would come back! read more

My girlfriend and I have been to Thai Table twice and we have really enjoyed ourselves both times. The young, new owners, Claire and Tyler are gracious and attentive. I have celiac disease and need to be super cautious about ingesting gluten. Claire took the order and is very knowledgeable about gluten and cross contamination. The first time we were there, Tyler came out of the kitchen to check to see if we were comfortable with the food, which we were. The food is outstanding, prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. As an example, the chicken satay consists of six skewers rather than four or five like most other Thai restaurants, and it was cooked perfectly. I can not say enough positive things about Thai Table. They are such a welcome new addition to the neighborhood. My family has done small takeout orders, delivery via app, and even a gigantic catering order for 40+ people. They have always been kind responsive and helpful. They helped me carry out a delicious catering order In 100+ degree heat, double wrapped everything, gave me instructions and so much extras. Only minor complaint is that vegan options aren't clearly labeled, and that there wasn't an option in the online ordering interface to make the pad thai egg-less. We love this place. We moved closer recently and have tried a few spot. We keep coming back here. The recipes have that "just what you expect" flavor with everything having great quality. All the proteins we've had have been nicely trimmed and tender. No reason to hesitate if you want to try something new on the menu. read more

Delicious Thai food, love it so much! I go there almost every week. My favorite is the drunken noodles. It's nice that you can custom level of spiciness from 1 to 5. I do not like my food to be too spicy, so level 2 is good for me. I also love their fired calamari. They give a good portion and the sauce with peanut is so good. The Thai ice tea is the best compared to other Thai places. Not too sweet and you can taste the tea not just sugar. Overall, this is my most favorite Thai restaurant in the Bay Area.
