    Sukho Thai Noodle Soup

One of the best Thai food in the Bay Area and I've have tried many places. We ordered their Pad Kee Mao, Pad See Ew, Pineapple Fried Rice, BBQ Chicken and Sukho Thai noodle soup. All had a deep flavor profile and you can tell it is made with skill and quality ingredients. Highly recommend!

Ok believe the hype! We came pretty late and they were not rude about the late seating. Super sweet server. Ordered Thai tea, Pumpkin Curry with chicken, and the Kanon Jeen Namya (fish ball curry noodle) both had the same color but different flavor profiles. Both were equally good. We will be back soon. Loved the music and the service. Whole atmosphere is great!

The food is wonderful. We had the red curry and found that if it's a bit spicy, they can add coconut milk to tone it down. Perfect! The pineapple fried rice was the best ever, and we enjoyed homemade lemonade which came with mint and a little flower. The service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is in a hidden area, but is very bright and sunny. We will be back. Highly recommended!

Came here on Mother's Day and had a pretty bad service experience. Got seated immediately and was told there was a 20 minute wait for the food since they were busy. That's fine with us, but nobody gave us a menu and after 10 minutes I had to go up myself. Another 20 minutes go by without anybody taking our order. We did finally get our food after 50 minutes total wait. We had to ask for things multiple times before getting anything. Service: 2 stars Food: 3.5 stars. Nothing special, but good portion sizes and decent taste.

Great food, service and fun blue restaurant! I went this my dad a few weeks ago and totally forgot to make a review but I got the Pad See Ew and the Yen Ta Fo (pink noodle soup). Both the dishes were delicious and the pink noodle soup was very pink! The vegetables and proteins were all fresh and the noddles have a great chew to them, was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant and will come back soon!

The best Thai food I have had in a while. New clean restaurant with friendly service, and great menu options. Bring friends because you'll want to order everything. Tom Yum Soup, Satay Chicken, Pad See Ew, everything was made to order and packed with flavor. I highly recommend supporting because I absolutely will be back for more!

Rasa Thai is a charming little place with I would say is pretty much standard menu for a Thai Place. Nothing inventive here just traditional Thai dishes Americans are used to like Pad Thai, pad see ew, chicken Satay, etc. They execute these standard dishes fairly well. I was a bit disappointed though they couldn't execute my favorite dish, a stir-fry mixed seafood. This dish would have several seafood like green mussels, calamari, prawns and perhaps scallops in fiery Thai chili sauce with mixed vegetables and fresh pepper corns. When I asked about it, however, they said they could only do a combo chicken and shrimp. I was confused as they do have baked mussels on the menu, so I am sure they could have added mussels to the dish. Nevertheless, what I had was tasty, just not what I really wanted. Thai restaurants are ubiquitous in the Bay Area, so there are many others like this one serving standard Thai dishes. The lack of inventive or special dishes here means there is no motivation for me to come back.

it's like you're walking to the beaches of thailand! the colors, bright lights, and coconut trees really take you there. went to try rasa thai for the first time, and did a little bit of everything. - fried chicken wings with their secret sauce - roti with curry - som tum - grilled pork - pad thai everything was fresh and definitely hit that thai spot- sweet, tangy, savory. if you want some spice, definitely ask for "thai spicy" or "thai hot" when ordering your items!! they also offer lunch specials which are really nice. will be back to try more of their noodle soups and pad gra pow!

I had the chance to visit on their opening day, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was outstanding, and the ambiance was warm, cozy, and impeccably clean. We ordered a variety of dishes, including Pad Se Ew, Sukhothai noodles, eggplant with chicken, Kao Mun Kai, and papaya salad. Every dish was delicious, generously portioned with tender meat, and full of authentic Thai flavors.

New Hidden TREASURE!! This restaurant with Chef Rasa is a GEM in the east bay, I love the expansive menu from appetizers, entrees, meat options and DESSERT! Definitely a must try if you're in the area looking to exprience true thai cuisine and flavors. You can taste the Farmers market veggies the freshness and quality. My new go-to for a flavorful meal so many choices to choose. Great atmosphere, very clean & Don't skip on the Grilled Beef Salad I can't wait to work my way through the menu everything is so delicious!

    Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango

This was our first time trying Rasa Thai. It is in a slightly out of the way location at the intersection of Gregory Lane and Pleasant Hill Road and tgeyvare waiting for their official sign. So it is a little hard to find, but it is worth looking for. The service was great, the place was light and airy with a hand painted mural on one wall. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The portion sizes were bigger than I expected and the amount of protein was very generous. We got vegetarian spring rolls, Green Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, Pad see Yoo and Thai Iced Tea. Everything was delicious. I have been searching for a Thai restaurant that makes a good Papaya salad and Rasa's exceeded my expectations expectations. The Chef gave us a complimentary portion of sweet sticky rice with mango. It was SO GOOD!! We will definitely go back.

I gave Imm Thai another try, tried Thai Table, and even Glom Thai (which replaced Sistory), but none of them had the same quality or flavors I had been missing. I also loved Banana Leaf in El Cerrito before it closed, so I figured those days were over. Then I found out the owners of Sistory had opened Saneh Bangkok in Pleasant Hill, so we decided to celebrate my aunt's birthday there. Wow, it exceeded all of our expectations. Every single dish was outstanding, and honestly, even better than I remembered from Sistory. We ordered the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, Red Curry, Spring Rolls, and the fried chicken with roti and Massaman curry. Everything was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and packed with flavor. The noodles had that authentic wok flavor I'd been searching for, the curry was rich and delicious, and the roti with Massaman curry was absolutely incredible. The portions were generous, the service was warm and attentive, and the whole experience reminded me why I loved Sistory so much in the first place. We were so full that we didn't have room for dessert, but next time I am definitely getting the mango sticky rice! As if that wasn't enough, I also learned the owners are behind Thai Lao Pakaoma in El Cerrito, which took over the old Banana Leaf location--and it's only five minutes from my house! Now I'm even more excited to try that one too. If you were a fan of Sistory or Banana Leaf, do yourself a favor and check out Saneh Bangkok. It brought back everything I'd been missing, and I can't wait to go back.

Dining is available at the bar or inside the dining room. Staff throughout the meal were fantastic with communication. Started off with the tom yum soup which was decent. Flavors were on the muted side of the spectrum. The lychee salad was quite nice as it had a slight kick to it. Surprisingly, there were a few gigantic prawns as part of this salad! The fried vegetarian egg rolls were decent and came with a dipping sauce. The pork satay was quite Americanized as the pork was on the leaner side and cooked towards a well done. The satay sauce was quite muted too. The crab fried rice was tasty and featured a generous amount of crab on top. Favorites included the short rib which was gigantic and super tender. The curry was decent too. This came with a side of jasmine rice. Opted for the sweet roti along with the mango sticky rice. Both were tasty. The mangoes were ripe and the sticky rice was quite tasty with the condensed milk. ~$60/head after tax and gratuity for dinner.
