The food at this location was okay and the prices were decent. I wasn't a fan of their drinks.

Been to Boon Choo several times and have tried a number of things on the menu. Sad to see some of…read morethe new favorites disappear, but glad that many are to stay. For sharing, highly recommending the appetizer platter and the tom yum hotpot. Even just the sticky ribs app is finger-licking good. And the crispy eggplant (special)? Sign me up! Can't go wrong with any main rice/noodle dishes. Pad Thai (w/crispy chicken) or Pad See Ew for the 101s; Kao Soi for those going off the beaten path. Massaman curry w/beef - tender and flavorful! But can you please bring back the grilled pork with the sticky rice (moo yang?) -- been wishing for seconds but found it taped up on the menu since first try. And when we gon have your exceptional Kao Man Gai on menu?? Drinks: other drinks are yum too but definitely the Street Tea (thai tea + Bailey...maybe there's vodka or something in there too but yeah, Bailey's). Perks: rewards program pretty generous. Eat there a couple times and already got $5 off the next. Sign up! Other perks: gluten-free items; ample parking in the lot. Pro tip: make resy! Even for a weeknight just to be safe, but especially Friday-Sunday coz the place gets packed quick. Without resy, you are easily looking at a 2-hour wait.

The portions are extremely small. Be sure to order twice the amount of dishes you'd normally order…read more The chicken green curry was a total miss, the Thai eggplant in it was raw and bitter. Won't go back and don't recommend.

My wife and I stayed in Brockton recently for a nearby concert and decided to just wander around…read morethe area looking for food. We came across this little Chinese spot and decided to stop in. Boy, am i glad we did because the food here is excellent! First off, when I walked in, I was greeted with a smile from both of the employees, who were happy to take my order and even helped me save some cash, by offering the combo. (The combos are a steal for the amount of food you get). The place is very clean and surprisingly elegant for a Chinese takeout. I always say you can judge a Chinese takeout spot by its soup and let me tell you, the wonton soup is some of the best I ever had. The wonton has a nice bite to it and is packed with flavor. The broth is also seasoned very nicely and comes with large delicious roast pork strips. I ordered two more to go after eating here - it was THAT good. (As a side note, they also reheated very well and retained the aforementioned bite without getting mushy - it was a delight). My combo was General Tso's with beef teriyaki with white rice. We have some amazing Chinese food in New York, but the beef sticks here were beyond words. Everything was just so flavorful, I loved it so much. I WILL say that the appetizers on their own are priced way too high for what they are - higher than I've ever seen at any Chinese restaurant. HOWEVER, the combos are such a great deal that it doesn't even matter. Get the combo. You won't regret it. Oh and also they have what tastes like in-house duck sauce that was lusciously smooth and sweet. It didn't necessarily go with what I ordered, but next time I'm going to get spare ribs, because that duck sauce is to die for. All in all, if I'm ever in the Brockton/Easton area again, I am making a special stop over at Bamboo Cafe.
