Portion size is the smallest I have seen from a Thai restaurant. The size and quality doesn't justify the cost. $13 if ordered in the restaurant and $17 if ordered on Grubhub. I called the restaurant to see if this was correct and she said yes. The food was relatively good, but the waiter named Karen was a Karen. She charged us double on our tip. They wouldn't let us sit in groups of more than three, but charged us the big party fee and on top of that the charges double the amount we put for tip. I'm not too worried about the tip amount. The food is good. But they don't include any cutlery with your order by default. And they don't ask you whether you want any cutlery at all, they just fail to include any without asking you. I wouldn't have written this review, except that they were also very rude to me when I drove back to get a fork to eat my food, saying that I should have just known they wouldn't include anything and that it was all my fault. Pretty good Thai place. Had to find another since Thai Wok changed owners and quality. We had the fried tofu, BBQ Thai chicken, and tofu drunken noodle. I was impressed with the different sauces served with each of the dishes which gave them individual flair, but was more impressed that they paired so well with any dish you put them on. Changed the way the chicken tasted three times, tofu same thing. Really great for the taste buds. Wish they would have offered to pour me a beer and a little more attentive service. Tried Thai Time for the first time and was massively disappointed. Bland food that didn't resemble at all what we saw advertised on their website. Wife had pad thai and was very disappointed. I had green curry and also thought the food was bland and unappatizing. Factor all this in that Thai Time factors in an automatic tip (ours was $7 and was entirely undeserved). Basically we bought to servings of bland food for $50. Perhaps others will like this sort of Thai food, but we will go back to the other Thai restaurants we have previously enjoyed. So I got their take-out & had door dash deliver, First... got the grilled chicken, it was ok but they forgot the rice so just a piece of chicken. Got the pad Thai noodles, complete disappoint. it was a small portion and they use small Ramon type noodles instead of a medium size flat noodle... never had that in a pad Thai. And to top it all off Pot stickers were over cooked and hard! Did I mention these portions were small.... 2 main dishes & 3 appetizers for 3 people (one kid) and we were still hungry, I have gotten leftovers from every Thai restaurant I have gotten food from in the past 5 years but not this one. Can you say YUM?! First of all, they have crispy duck curry- need I say more? The duck was perfectly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and flavorful. The crispy duck is the main reason I decided to order takeout from Thai Time- (since takeout is really the only thing one CAN get from a restaurant in the time of Coronavirus). The crispy duck curry came with 2 crispy duck drumsticks and a sliced thigh in a separate container of course, to keep the wonderful crispiness crispy. Some red curry- which had basil, onions, cherry tomatoes, and pineapple in it, and a side of steamed white rice. I also ordered the basil chicken fried rice- also great flavor- came with peppers, onions, basil, and egg. And last but not least, I got the fresh shrimp salad rolls with peanut dipping sauce. The Peanut sauce was just right in my opinion, creamy, with some peanut crunch. As we all know a poor peanut dipping sauce can really make or break the salad rolls experience. The salad rolls themselves were pretty good, but a little thick on the rice paper on one side, which made it a little gummy. And there was some kinda big cucumbers in the salad rolls, which was not my favorite. Overall, I think I found my new fave Vancouver Thai place! read more

The restaurant is a corner spot, in a little strip mall. The decor is neat, the hostess is very friendly. They have music playing which struck me as love songs from the 1990's. Our most recent visit we brought our picky teenager daughter with us, and she commented that she enjoyed their music. They have free wifi, which is a huge bonus in my book. But the best thing is the food. The Chicken Pad Thai is out of this world. My wife orders the "Crying Tiger" .... which I like to joke is the crouching tiger. My favorite item on the menu is the Thai Time Bites. Tasty little morsels! Our other favorites are yellow curry, pad Thai and pad see ew. Only complaint is the spice level. Tried this place on a suggestion. It's in a strip plaza that I have passed many times and wondered. I was craving Curry and my usual place was closed. I walked in and was greeted by a wonderful man and I took a seat. Service was top notch here. Asked if I had questions and he never hesitated to answer and suggest things on the menu. I ordered the Yellow Curry, the Mango Sticky rice and a glass of wine. It was brought out in timely matter and looked beautiful. The Yellow Curry sauce was smooth, delicious and the right balance of coconut and spices. The menu threw me off because it said it had carrots, shallots and sweet potato. I had to ask because it didn't sound right. Thai sweet potato is a white, barely sweet potato and very yummy! I ordered it with chicken. The chicken was the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. It was bland and tasted boiled but tomorrow after marinating in the curry it will be amazing. Now the Mango Sticky rice...just Devine! The black sticky rice just by itself is so good but paired with the Mango and the creamy sweet coconut sauce, just makes it devine, just devine Highly recommend Thai Time. Horrible service. This use to be my favorite spot to grab lunch. Not anymore. I walked in and before I could sit down I was greeted with are you a pickup? I go no I would like to eat here. She goes sit down! She was too busy counting her tips to care anymore about me. I was contemplating leaving wondering if I was going to get good service today. Then the guy serve me water and left. Noodle dishes portion is way too small 2. They offer very little for vegans 90 % of the menu is dedicated to meat dishes. Even their seansonal specials are all meat based Here's a new update they no longer use dairy butter in their brown rice. They have one of the best mango sticky rice They use a brown or red rice and it's delicious. This is a Thai restaurant that is worth visiting. And if your a meat eater you 'll probably love Thai Time. For vegans very limited, so you end up ordering the same meal over and over again. Not very exciting. Conclusion. I've ordered from this restaurant before via grub hub, the food was adequate but certainly not the best I've ever had. It's close by so I know it's going to be hot. Tonight I ordered 3 things, to I've tasted two... they're disgusting. The pad Thai taste like its been sitting around since Christmas eve, its a gelatinous mess. See pic., I also special ordered the drunken noodles asking for eggplant to be added which there was none but that's OK, I also ordered it with vegetables and tofu and all the vegetables are raw, there was no attempt to actually Stir fry them whatsoever. The 3rd item I haven't tried yet it's the fresh tofu Spring roll, but honestly how can you screw that up? You don't have to cook it right. This is my favorite Thai restaurant. Their pork is well grilled and tasty as is the BBQ chicken, but what makes those meals perfection is the tamarind chili sauce. We used 4little bowls full between the 2 of us. I obsess over that stuff. Also if you want your own little piece of art made with food have their mango w/ coconut sticky rice. It is almost too pretty to eat. The rice is sweet and the whole presentation is lovely. Our go-to place for amazing Thai food! We're regulars here, because it's so hard to find places with amazing vegan options that consistently deliver amazing food! We always get the Pad See Ew with tofu and the Pad Prik Khing with tofu. Both dishes have so much flavor, the vegetables are obviously fresh, and the spice level is on point! The star of the show is their peanut sauce that comes with their salad rolls. It's so good, that we have to order extra sides of it because we basically want to eat it straight with a spoon. A Yelp research for Thai restaurants has led me to my new favorite go-to Thai spot. I am madly in love with their Crying Tiger (grilled beef) and the spicy dipping sauce that goes with it. I ask for medium rare and they hit the spot every time. My boyfriend loves how they put Chinese broccoli in their Thai fried rice. The servers have always been very attentive and suggestive. What a find ! Great place , super clean, nice atmosphere, food was awesome . Their menu is simple and very easy to navigate , had all the essentials . I loved the curry (yellow curry with chicken). Whenever I am in town I will order from Thai Time. I know it is a cliché, however their Pad Thai is just to die for. They have many gluten-free options as well so it is some thing that my whole family can enjoy. The pricing and portions are very reasonable and it is simply delicious.
