Just noticed that there is a jew Thai restaurant here in the same complex as Wegmans. They have quite a number of lunch specials in addition to the regular menu. They have a patio that the bar opens up to so i think that its planned for summer time happy hours. Food was great. We got a yellow curry and a green curry. Had a hankering' for beef drunken noodles on a Tuesday. I had walked by this place several times before and it seemed like it took forever to open. I noticed a nice outdoor area during nice weather. I ordered conveniently online and picked up 15 minutes later. It was a great size for lunch, lots of beef, and noodles were spicy but not I'm going to die spicy that some other places do. I would def order again and look forward to trying other things on the menu on their outdoor patio. read more

Lots of good reviews so I am quite disappointed with the taste of the food here. We ordered the beef salad that says it is spicy. Not spicy and really no flavor at all. Same for the pad tai, no flavor. The panang curry had very little chicken in it and was very soupy, like water that drowned my rice. Almost no lime flavor in the food or other flavors typical of Thai. This food has been made bland I guess do the American palate. read more

2 days since their opening day. Tried this place out with a few friends yesterday and we were all amazed by how tasty this place was ! Love the food here and the restaurant is small but attractive and has a patio. Hate the management though and they have weird hours. Ordered take out at 2:30 on a Sat. (they close at 3:00) Got there at 2:45 to pick up and the door was locked. Lady who let me in said "yes?" But her look said "why are you trying to open the door, we're closed?" Saw another take out customer given the same attitude as I was leaving. Aren't restaurants usually happy to see customers? If they want to close at 2:45, then post those hours. I feel like the few times I've come here, the waitress always has an attitude. The overall ambiance is really nice, which is what draws me in. But the service. They're ready to kick you out once you eat! I don't consider this AT ALL kid friendly. I ask for a kid menu, they don't have one. Fine. But then can you accommodate kid dishes. Nope and she has said that. I asked for just a side of noodles and they will not do that. Or they will, but they will charge you for a meal. They claim there is no flavor. A perfect place to catch up with buddy or co-workers during the holiday season. Affordable to little pricy for some of the disk on the menu, but the portion toward small. Good service (at least they asked if you were their the first time, or what type of food do we liked) and short wait time on the disks. Want to warn everyone of our recent bad experience with this restaurant. Our family and friends have been regular Patrons of Thai Tyme since it opened doors. We love the food and the outdoor ambience and go there to eat at least every other month. Last week we were a group of 6 adults that booked a table in their outdoor seating and were enjoying the food. The service is always very curt and quick but that has never bothered us. And at 9:35pm the restaurant turned off the outdoor lights. Mind in our group, somebody was still eating, food was on the table(not cleared or packed). So another member in our group went and asked the server to turn on the lights and the server/owner refused. They said the lights are turned off automatically, it is not their fault that our group started eating late and that we can move ourselves to a different table if lighting is an issue. This appalling behavior really threw us all off and we were stunned. The Restaurant website says it is open until 10pm. We are still not sure why they behaved so rudely. We are still reeling from this thoughtless unkind behavior. So beware if you want to dine there. read more

RUDE! UNPROFESSIONAL! That sums up our recent experience at Thai Tyme a few days ago. We are regulars at Thai Tyme in Chantilly and usually enjoy their food and ambiance. Therefore, we were shocked by the behavior of the owner and waiters when we were forced to finish our dinner in the dark (seated outside) because the owner decided to turn off the lights without informing us at 9:30 pm. When we requested that the lights be turned back on for a few minutes as we were wrapping up, we were told it was closing time, even though Google listed the closing time as 10:00 pm. This restaurant clearly does not prioritize customer service, as they even suggested we take our plates to a brighter area outside to finish our meal. Beware folks! read more

We were shopping at Wegman's across the street and decided to have dinner here. It was packed and it is a pretty small place so it can easily be packed up real fast. The decor inside is really nice and neat and I loved how they had a projection of Mark Wiens' Thailand episodes on the wall. Our servers were very polite, friendly and helped with suggestions. The place was very clean. It was a little too crowded for covid, but everyone not eating especially the staff had masks on and we were recently tested negative after eating there, so no worries. I ordered a strawberry lemonade and it was fresh made at the bar. I watched the bartender make it. It was so good I ordered it twice. We ordered a few appetizers and the crab wontons were my favorite. You don't usually get those at other Thai restaurants so it was nice to see something different on the menu and it was delicious. The main entrees and soup were also good. I do recommend people to come and at least try the place out. We hit up a lot of Thai places so it may not be a spot we would return to, but it wasn't a bad experience either. We did enjoy our experience and meal here. read more

This restaurant is in a brand new shopping center and it is so nice! The restaurant itself is beautiful inside but does not have a ton of seating inside. It is so cute though. They were definitely busy on a weeknight with both takeout and people coming in to eat. The service was attentive and fast as well. We were in and out under an hour. The chicken satay appetizer was flavorful and tender but the pieces of chicken were a little bit smaller compared to other restaurants. The spring rolls were delicious and they give you three of them for an appetizer so that is a little bit on the smaller side as well. I tried their pad thai and the serving size was definitely big enough for two meals but was not as huge as some of the other Thai places in the area. Their pad thai was delicious and not drenched in sauce and a little bit on the sweeter side. I also liked that they added some crispy shallots which I have never had before in this dish but it was a good tasty addition. I also liked the chicken in the noodles because it was on the more tender side and not dried out like some Thai places make it. I will definitely be back here and try more stuff! read more

I have been twice now. We tried the shrimp tempura and pop pop shrimp appetizers. You must use the sauce for the tempura, it's delicious. The drink menu is amazing, ginger lemon smash and thai chili margarita are my favs. My girlfriend loves the lychee punch! For entrees we have tried drunken noodles, basil fried rice, pineapple fried rice, crying tiger, and the lamb yang. It was all amazing. Service has been great every time also! Aui and the two girls we've met so far are so nice. Food may take awhile to come out when busy, but thats to be expected with a new restaurant. read more

Love the ambiance here, as well as the fast and friendly service. Bartender was great and cocktails are all fresh made. I had wine, which I enjoyed, but cannot wait to get back for a cocktail and some apps! The food was decent, not the best Thai in the area though. I had Panang curry; it was very sweet and in my opinion lacking in curry flavor, tasted mostly like coconut milk and was a very loose sauce, almost soup like. After the spice tray, much better and I loved the peanuts that added a crunch. Hubs got his usual Kaprow, also good but a tad lacking in flavor. Overall we will be back for a nice meal at the bar and cocktails, but will not be our go-to Thai takeout. read more
