This place is really good. It is hard to find consistently good Thai food in Manassas or even in Prince William County. Thai Tyme is the only reason I venture over to that shopping center. My boyfriend and I typically get take out from here. I am not sure if they are now offering delivery services, but hopefully sometime soon. We've tried the basil fried rice, duck noodle soup, beef noodle soup, duck rolls, beef fried rice, shrimp pad thai, drunken noodles, and sesame beef. Everything is delicious. I can't say anything negative. Service, décor, and food all wonderful. I brought my boyfriend and parents here last weekend. We recently moved to Manassas from Herndon and have struggled to find a good Thai restaurant. We thought we found one but after tonight we will not be eating here or ordering food from here again. After having food delivered and not tipping the delivery guy he decided to stand at my door and lecture me on my tipping responsibilities. While I normally do tip I didnt have the cash I assumed I had. Regardless I do NOT need a lecture on tipping. Your job is a choice and customer service keeps customers coming back. I will not be purchasing food from them again. UPDATE: So after calling Grub Hub to report the driver I was told it was the restaurant's driver. When the agent called the restaurant to see if they wanted to offer a discount they said "No, but we will come back and pick up the food and then issue a refund." I was quite shocked by this as there was a time I ordered from this place 2 - 3 times a week. read more

Really enjoyed our visit here! First, the decor is absolutely beautiful! Whoever designed this interior did wonders. It is gorgeous! The crabmeat wonton and chicken Satay were cooked very nicely and came with sauces that accommodated the food very well. The main course was excellent! I got the crispy beef dinner and my boyfriend got the drunken noodles. Both were good but I can not say enough about that crispy beef. It was incredible! Dessert was mango sticky rice. I decided to leave another review because I have to reiterate just how AMAZING the service is here. I have been a regular at this restaurant for awhile. The other day I decided to try a new dish they had, the softshell crab. The flavor was great but softshell crab just isn't for me. That said, without me saying anything, they noticed that I was just picking at my crab and I was immediately offered a new dish of my choice. I was so impressed by how attentive the server and owner were. This recent experience has cemented my loyalty to them as my go-to Thai restaurant. Not to mention, the owners are some of the kindest, most humble and hardworking people I have met and I am happy to give my patronage to businesses run by people like that. Nicely decorated restaurant. Warm atmosphere and warm staff. Food was excellent! I appreciate their knowledge of gluten free entrees as I have an allergy. Had the Drunken noodles. Waitress explained what was in it and that they were rice noodles with no soy sauce for me. Possibility of cross contamination but I appreciate the effort and had no gastronomic problem later. Daughter had fried rice with basal, it looked yummy. Husband had Pad Thai. He liked it a lot as it was just to his liking of heat. Enjoyable place with good service and prices were economical! I've been here twice now, the first time being with my family and the second time with my two cousins. The place is still pretty brand new but from the reviews it looked promising! My family came in right after the monks came and "blessed" the restaurant for good luck in a ceremony. Unfortunately the roasted duck was not available, but we got the pop shrimp, pad curry, pad thai, sizzling beef, thai bubble tea and chicken ginger and everything was delicious! I very much enjoyed the pad curry the most! The 2nd time we got rama peanut sauce beef, the roasted duck, and shrimp tempura; also all very delicious and they were kind enough to substitute our rice for steamed veggies at no cost. I find the dishes extremely well priced and very well portioned here. The manager (I think) is also a great, engaging, and talkative guy, and recognized me from when I came a few weeks ago! My cousin was a little confused by the decor, not sure if they were going for hip/rustic, I don't care I totally dig it. From the outside the shopping strip doesn't look too interesting, but inside it's beautifully decorated with cozy booths and chairs, and two dining nooks with your non-standard furniture (one nook has leather armchairs!). I think this place can't be beat for delicious, low-cost Thai food matched with a phenomenal and cozy dining experience. Whenever I'm back this will be my go-to spot! read more

The 4.5/5 average this place currently has is simply not true. Very misleading. Cute interior, but if the food isn't up to par then what's the point. Curry was too thick, lumpy and overly sweet. Tofu they used was soft, should have been firm tofu for better texture. Top 40 music was blasting Rhianna way too loud. Service was awkward, as the waitress kept interrupting us too many times and reaching over us to clear every single dish. Strange menus where the novelty wears off fast due to poor functionality. Not a fan. Not going back. Tons of other Thai restaurants with better food. read more

Thai Tyme is a new restaurant. As such, it will have its bumps.in the road. It won't be perfect 100% for the first 3 weeks, nor should anyone expect it to be. If you pickup your food after ordering over the phone and it's cold by the time you got it home; you probably live more than 10 minutes away. Love seeing new places pop up in the area here, I am a big fan of drunken noodles and wontons here (the crab kind) The family loved all the food they ordered as well. I had their soft shelled crab pad Thai. The soft shelled crab was large and the noodles were delicious with a bit of fried onions on the side, crumbled peanuts and bean sprouts. The lunch came with a side salad (the typical iceberg lettuce and shaved carrot w orange dressing variety) and a spring roll. Best Duck I ever tasted. Wings were also excellent, large & crispy. Large 34 oz. Drafr beer. I think I found my new favorite restaurant. Food is great. Portions have changed since they opened - I feel like they got smaller. For the price, it should be more than what they give you. We don't order all the time so we still do when we're craving thai and we want to stay local. It's the best one close by in 20110 zip code. All the food we've had so far are yummy. Although, they almost over do the spice level. I always ask for mild and for some reason they do medium to spicy. I eat pretty spicy but I like to add my own pepper and eat the pepper so I always want to order mild so my mount won't overhead. Overall, it's a nice treat to go once in awhile. read more
