I've gotten to -go food here before and I finally had lunch here last week. They have lunch specials and I believe I paid the $12 to get the red curry and I paid a dollar extra for the fried rice. I wish I had more rice but I ended up drinking the curry and it was delicious like a thick soup. lunch special also comes with a soup or salad and I chose the salad. My coworker got the Thai iced tea with Boba and she thought the Boba was a little too chewy. I've worked across the street from Thai Valley for four years now and I have to say that it's really grown on me. Is it the best Thai food in the world? Probably not, but everything I've had is consistently good and the service is really friendly. I like the oriental noodle soup with BBQ pork and fish balls on cold days and the fresh chili and basil is always an office favorite. The lunch specials are also a good deal and my recent go-to has been the BBQ chicken with fried rice (you can also get pad thai, but I'm just not a big fan of pad thai). This is my first time at "Thai Valley." I must say I am very impressed with the food here! I am here with my mother, and brother. I had ordered the red curry, this curry comes with bamboo shoots and you can choose chicken, and beef. Boy was it hot!!! The curry is made with real milk; and it's delicious! I also ordered the Tom yum dish and and it was great too! I always enjoy a great Thai place, and this is one is not a disappointment. The wife and I came here before we went to the All Things Gaming place next door to fulfill our hunger needs before we dove into our gaming needs. The selection of food is great as they have Chicken Satay + Stuffed Chicken, Pad Thai,Fresh Basil and Chili w/ Tofu with a great spice to it as well as many more selections that will have you looking for more. You could wash down your food, with a nice Thai tea. Service is great, as Tina took care of us and made sure that our needs were fulfilled from water, to making sure our food was satisfactory. Parking is a non issue as you can park in the lot. If your looking for a great local Thai place, you need to give this place a try. read more

I had the Panang beef which had the complex flavor it is known for, plus it is was a pretty large portion for the more than reasonable price. I have been coming here for years and I love this place. I have never encountered rude service at this restaurant. They are usually very polite and very quick. I moved to LA for 5 years and I really missed this place. I am happy that I moved back to the area. I love their fried rice, chicken noodle dish and orange chicken. I've been on a quest to find good Thai and Indian in the west San Fernando Valley. I had actually given up on both... That is, until today. I've been eyeing Thai Valley for quite some time now. On my way to work on this lazy rainy day, I decided today was the day! I had: Tom Ka Kai (of course I did) and it was delicious! They are authentic with their recipe and use galangal root and not ginger. I like that. The chicken was perfect and the straw mushrooms (black capped, thick and chewy mushrooms) were perfect! Love that!! It was very good! Pad-see-ew with chicken and get this... CHINESE broccoli... Idk if you like it, but I LOVE Chinese broccoli and will take it over most leafy greens any day!! This veggie in pad see ew makes the whole difference! The dish was excellent! Just under salted perfectly! (Pad see ew can be salty due to the soy sauce). It wasn't, it was wonderful! Yes, I had my fave dishes, but it was a great barometer of taste. I would definitely recommend and will absolutely be back! And soon!! Ambiance: clean, clean, clean! Super cute place. Great interior. Quite spacious! Staff: Excellent! I never caught the name of my server, but she was amazing! Price: A tad steep for Thai. (About $2 more than the average spot... 3.5 stars... better than just 'ok' for me. This place is convenient to my office otherwise I would never have tried it. Really ENJOYED the chicken with eggplant dish I ordered for lunch. Ate the whole thing. The rice was a little dry but I put the main dish on it and the sauce made the rice less dry. It's very reasonably priced and the service was quick and nice. Those are key.... makes an otherwise mediocre meal much better. I'll probably be back the next time I'm in the office. read more

I ordered online and scheduled my pick up time. It's in a strip mall where there were plenty of spots but it was only around 4:45PM and traffic is still light due to Covid. There's street parking as well. Upon arrival, the staff greeted us, our food was ready to go on the table upfront. It was very organized. I found myself craving Tom Ka Kai & Thai Iced Tea. So I ventured from S. Valley to N. Valley to Thai Valley. Thai Valley is a quaint little spot in Chatsworth, a great place to dine when you just want a nice, low key, clean restaurant with great service and delicious Thai food. When I lived in Chatsworth I would dine here often with friends... I miss it! Now I'm snuggled up on my couch enjoying my tom ka kai & Thai ice tea immensely. This is what serendipitous looks like. For years I went to a Thai place in Studio City and took many people there. Loved the food and the people. And then the owner sold the place and it became a totally different cuisine. I was very disappointed. Fast forward several years and we opened a business in the building on Devonshire Street. There was a Thai place downstairs and I decided to check it out. Now I have to tell you that I'm very particular when it comes to Thai food, like for real, so I was cautious. I walk in and who do I see!!!! A couple of folks that used to work at the Studio City place opened Thai Valley! I did the happy dance! The food was as good as I remembered and the service was, as always, wonderful. If you want good, traditional Thai - this is the place. The restaurant is decorated nicely and is very chill. They were able to get the place next door and expanded the dining room so if you have a large group, no problemo. Just one 'warning' - they close shop for December to go home to Thailand. p.s. - I don't drink so I don't know if they have beer/wine. And I've always gone there so I'm not sure if they deliver. I love lots of their plates and my goal Is to try their whole menu. I love their miso soup, their shrimp fried rice, their yellow curry, their appetizers, especially their freshly made lemonade. I ordered the spicy eggplant lunch special $5.95. It comes with 5 VERY SMALL pieces of eggplant the size of my pinky. There's a generous portion of tough beef and lots of bamboo shoots. Nowhere on the menu were bamboo shoots mentioned. I wanted eggplant dangit! I want chunks of eggplant! Oh yea, the eggplant wasn't even cooked well. It was still firm when you bite into it. Yummy. I'm obsessed with their red and yellow curry. Also their pad thai is very good, and their spicy fried rice is so fresh tasting. Few things to keep in mind: Red curry is spicy all on its own. The one time we asked for it to be spicier was a bad plan since it wound up being waaaaay hot. Yellow curry isn't hardly spicy at all but tastes very good. Steamed rice is ordered separately and doesn't automatically come with your meal. read more
