Continues to be one of my favorite places to enjoy a great meal and great service. The quality of the ingredients and good portions are something I can always count on. The beer is always ice cold and the decor and comfortable seating is part of the charm. There is plenty of parking

I go to this place at least two or 3 times a month and am always so impressed with the food and the owners. The service is always great and I like going in just to chat with the owner. The restaurant is nice inside and is very family friendly. I've liked everything I've tried, which is most of the menu, and look forward to the owners next suggestion.

Still one of the best Thai restaurants in the valley. Not only for dine in but take out. The restaurant alone isn't that big but what it lacks in size, it makes up in flavors. Service is always amazing right from when you walk in. The gentleman, owner is always the friendliest and very cheerful. Always ready for everyone right when they walk into his door. Menu is always amazing. You have all the classic and traditional dishes as well as certain specialties items. Presentation is always great when the dishes come out. There's also an excitement when the dishes come out. Flavors are always amazing and spice level is always up to you. We've done dine in quite often but lately it's alway been take out for time wise. Regardless if it's dine in or takeout, it's alway great. Also, their Tom Yum Noodle soup is amazing. Rice noodle, minced meat, fishcakes, wontons, fish balls and served in the tom yum soup. If you haven't tried it, it's a must. Everything that we always get is outstanding. Down to the papaya salad, panang curry, appetizers platters, springs rolls and so on. It's amazing. There's plenty of parking. It's part of a strip mall. They do have alcohol, wine and beer. Friendly staff and amazing food.

Dear Tom, I'm so sorry it took so long to finally visit your new location in Northridge. It was so great to see you again with that great smile and that friendly warmth you bring to your establishments. I want to congratulate you on your "new" location (that you moved to 1.5 years ago). It's just as tranquil, peaceful, relaxing, restful, thoughtfully decorated and as welcoming as your last place in Reseda. My family loves your food, we never have any complaints and look forward to coming back for more. Thank you for highlighting the lemongrass soup. I didn't know I wanted it until you mentioned it, and it was just as good as it sounded, if not better. However, there is something I want to mention that stood out to me on our first visit to your Northridge location: here in LA, most people are familiar with the dish named "Orange chicken". Most people have had it, in many different places. My sister decided to order some on our visit, to go with our family favorites Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. Tom, has anyone ever told you that you're offering some of the BEST ORANGE CHICKEN EVER OFFERED? Bro... I was in awe. I GOT HIGH ON YOUR ORANGE CHICKEN, TOM! BEST IVE EVER HAD, I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE. Thanks again, Tom. It was great seeing you, congrats on the Northridge location, and we look forward to seeing you again. I promise it will not take another 1.5 years.

Came here on a Friday night and it was a good experience. It took some time to get serviced, but to be fair, it was the owner waiting my table and 2 others so I was being patient. I tried their famous tom yum noodle soup and it was delicious! The broth wasn't the best I've had bc it was not as garlicky or aromatic to my tasting, but it was served in a generous proportion! As for their papaya salad, it was yummy as well. I would have liked a little less sugar. However, I'll come back here on a different day and try their food again! Ambiance is casual and there's plenty of parking.

Upon arriving first impression wasn't so pleasant. We were not greeted, just standing for a bit while we waited to get seated. It took forever for the waiter to come take our order. Took forever for the food to arrive. We received our appetizer last which should have came before the main course. 5 egg rolls cut into 10 pieces to make it seem like it's a lot. But 5 for 10? Nah. It arrived waaay after we were almost done with our food. Oh and the Thai tea was suuuuuper skimp. You could easily get 4 big sips out of that. 1 spicy basil, 1 cashew chicken two waters and 2 Thai teas and egg rolls was $68.54. What a rip off!!! I've been to many Thai restaurants. It's never been this much for two plates and an appetizer. honesty I feel like I've just been robbed. I'm disappointed. Wont be coming back.

Small restaurant, with limited seating. Food was actually good. The kitchen is on the other side of a wall so you are breathing in the spices which can make you cough at times. Went with a large group so it took forever to order and receive the food. One server which I believe was also the cook and cashier. Maybe I will go again one day with a smaller group.

Finally, a place that has Khao soi and mango sticky rice, and delicious ones too! It's surprisingly difficult to find restaurants that make these dishes well. Top Thai's khao soi is just as good, if not better than a Michelin starred khao soi spot in Long Beach. This mango sticky rice is in my top three mango sticky rices, along with Banana Bay's and Noodle World's. The man who runs the restaurant is super friendly and insisted on giving us more coconut sauce for our mango sticky rice when he noticed we were running low. The ambiance inside is pretty upscale, but you wouldn't know from looking at the outside. The parking lot is a bit sketch, but it's worth overlooking to savor this diamond in the rough.

I've probably driven past this restaurant a million times. But one day when I was craving Thai food, I realized here was this gem a few blocks away. Seriously, if you blink, you'll miss it. But what a hidden gem! The dining room is clean and classy and a nice buddha fountain is there as you enter. The food was VERY good! I ordered the seafood fried rice. The rice was hot and flavorful. It had shrimp and white fish. Usually when there's white fish in a fried rice, it's usually rubbery. NOT here!! The fish was so tender, flakey and delicious!!!! I loved the ambiance and they're so nice!! The fried rice portions are generous, so I can't wait to dig into my leftovers!!! I'll be back....hungry for more!

Found a great Thai restaurant. Ample parking, inside was clean and pleasantly decorated, and the service was great. We ordered the recommended chicken wrap. It is a must try dish. Then we ordered fried rice pork, pad thai shrimp, and chicken curry. The food was fresh, order size was generous, and the price was reasonable. I recommend you try this place.

Top Thai is a small cozy restaurant that has now moved to a location on Lindley in Northridge. While these dining premises are smaller, they are well appointed and the decor imparts an intimate feel. One advantage here is they now have their own parking lot next door and one does not need to worry about looking for a place on the street. During my first visit at the previous location over a year ago, I had their lunch special of the Spicy Basil and was very impressed. So this time, I came for a dinner carry out and ordered the same Spicy Basil with beef as an entree. It came with a small portion of steamed rice. The dish had a mild flavor and the sauce had no body, hence diluting the spices. Half the beef pieces were chewy. Maybe a change in the Chef? Either way, the service was good and I will definitely be going back.

the best Thai restaurant in the valley their food serving is big, the shrimp fried rice is heaven 10/10 and the chicken broth soup that included in Hainan Chicken is the best I wish I can have it everyday.

Server guy was chill. The food is served in a paper bowl, unlike the nice bowls you see in their pics. Tl;dr: if you're curious, don't waste your time, bafang is open 5min away Preface: I KNOW it's mall food, but for a restaurant that continuously pops up as #1 on Yelp whenever I search for food around the northridge/chatsworth area, I'm going to treat it as if it were a #1 spot. Beef noodle soup: to be very blunt, this was quite flavorless. The beef was dry as bones and looked like it was sliced with a mandoline. The noodles seemed undercooked and it felt like I was eating al dente spaghetti noodles. I got a medium spice level which didn't even seem that spicy, just a lot of cough inducing chili oil with no burn. Pan fried dumplings were ok. It honestly tasted like it was deep fried and not pan fried. Unsweetened black tea: hands down the best of the 3 things in the combo, which is quite telling. Honestly you get a decent amount of food for $15. But to constantly take the top 5 for recommended on Yelp in this area and waste my time to even look at it, it definitely doesn't belong remotely close to top 10.

It was still good, but the broth had more of a tomato-y, clearer base and felt like its own soup rather than a true bún riêu. I was also surprised they didn't have **shrimp paste** available for it, which felt kind of odd. They do have **bánh bèo** and some other Vietnamese dishes, which I thought was cool, and overall everything we tried was okay. I've had a different soup from here before, and I've also gotten it delivered, and I'd say the experience is pretty much the same across the board -- decent, solid, nothing bad, but nothing that really stands out for me either. A great place for dumplings and not worrying about leaving hungry. Great service too!

Their Sweet And Spicy Fried Chicken is a definite MUST-TRY!! Their house-made sauce is blended with…read moreKorean spices, giving you that glossy, sticky, sweet heat that builds gently without overpowering. Not super spicy, more sweet taste but insanely flavorful and addictive. We got a half order, which consisted of 1 wing, 1 drumstick, 1 thigh, 2 rib, 2 breast, costing $16.99. A whole order of chicken is $28.99. We would definitely order again. Dumplings are handmade fresh daily. You can literally taste the difference in every bite -- juicy fillings, delicate wrappers, and that perfect pleat. We tried: Dim Sum 10 pc $16.99 Korean style dumplings 8 pc $15.99 King Steamed Dumpling With Pork And Vegetables 4pc $15.99 Pan Fried Dumplings 10pc $16.99 My favorites were the Korean style dumplings and Pan Fried Dumplings. King Steamed Dumpling With Pork And Vegetables is huge, fluffy and bouncy. The taste of the filling was okay. The dim sum was a good size and looked pretty. Hard to pick up with chopsticks without the bottom breaking. The bottom was really delicate so using a spoon makes it easier. The Marinaded Beef $15.99 (half order) was perfect with rice. Complimentary small Sides: kimchi, pickled radish and cabbage salad. I really liked the pickled radish. This place is tucked away in a strip near the Northridge Promenade Shopping Center. Parking can be difficult during peak hours. Nyi had wonderful customer service.
