Continues to be one of my favorite places to enjoy a great meal and great service. The quality of the ingredients and good portions are something I can always count on. The beer is always ice cold and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the decor and comfortable seating is part of the charm.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is plenty of parking

I go to this place at least two or 3 times a month and am always so impressed with the food and the owners. The service is always great and I like going in just to chat with the owner. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is nice inside and is very family friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I've liked everything I've tried, which is most of the menu, and look forward to the owners next suggestion.

Still one of the best Thai restaurants in the valley. Not only for dine in but take out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant alone isn't that big but what it lacks in size, it makes up in flavors.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is always amazing right from when you walk in. The gentleman, owner is always the friendliest and very cheerful. Always ready for everyone right when they walk into his door. Menu is always amazing. You have all the classic and traditional dishes as well as certain specialties items. Presentation is always great when the dishes come out. There's also an excitement when the dishes come out. Flavors are always amazing and spice level is always up to you. We've done dine in quite often but lately it's alway been take out for time wise. Regardless if it's dine in or takeout, it's alway great. Also, their Tom Yum Noodle soup is amazing. Rice noodle, minced meat, fishcakes, wontons, fish balls and served in the tom yum soup. If you haven't tried it, it's a must. Everything that we always get is outstanding. Down to the papaya salad, panang curry, appetizers platters, springs rolls and so on. It's amazing. There's plenty of parking. It's part of a strip mall. They do have alcohol, wine and beer. Friendly staff and amazing food.

Dear Tom, I'm so sorry it took so long to finally visit your new location in Northridge. It was so great to see you again with that great smile and that friendly warmth you bring to your establishments. I want to congratulate you on your "new" location (that you moved to 1.5 years ago). [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's just as tranquil, peaceful, relaxing, restful, thoughtfully decorated and as welcoming as your last place in Reseda.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My family loves your food, we never have any complaints and look forward to coming back for more. Thank you for highlighting the lemongrass soup. I didn't know I wanted it until you mentioned it, and it was just as good as it sounded, if not better. However, there is something I want to mention that stood out to me on our first visit to your Northridge location: here in LA, most people are familiar with the dish named "Orange chicken". Most people have had it, in many different places. My sister decided to order some on our visit, to go with our family favorites Pad Thai and pineapple fried rice. Tom, has anyone ever told you that you're offering some of the BEST ORANGE CHICKEN EVER OFFERED? Bro... I was in awe. I GOT HIGH ON YOUR ORANGE CHICKEN, TOM! BEST IVE EVER HAD, I LOOK FORWARD TO MORE. Thanks again, Tom. It was great seeing you, congrats on the Northridge location, and we look forward to seeing you again. I promise it will not take another 1.5 years.

Upon arriving first impression wasn't so pleasant. We were not greeted, just standing for a bit while we waited to get seated. It took forever for the waiter to come take our order. Took forever for the food to arrive. We received our appetizer last which should have came before the main course. 5 egg rolls cut into 10 pieces to make it seem like it's a lot. But 5 for 10? Nah. It arrived waaay after we were almost done with our food. Oh and the Thai tea was suuuuuper skimp. You could easily get 4 big sips out of that. 1 spicy basil, 1 cashew chicken two waters and 2 Thai teas and egg rolls was $68.54. What a rip off!!! I've been to many Thai restaurants. It's never been this much for two plates and an appetizer. honesty I feel like I've just been robbed. I'm disappointed. Wont be coming back.

Came here on a Friday night and it was a good experience. It took some time to get serviced, but to be fair, it was the owner waiting my table and 2 others so I was being patient. I tried their famous tom yum noodle soup and it was delicious! The broth wasn't the best I've had bc it was not as garlicky or aromatic to my tasting, but it was served in a generous proportion! As for their papaya salad, it was yummy as well. I would have liked a little less sugar. However, I'll come back here on a different day and try their food again! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance is casual and there's plenty of parking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small restaurant, with limited seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was actually good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The kitchen is on the other side of a wall so you are breathing in the spices which can make you cough at times.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Went with a large group so it took forever to order and receive the food. One server which I believe was also the cook and cashier. Maybe I will go again one day with a smaller group.

Been exploring different Thai spots around the area and this one is so far the best one! Generous portion sizes for a good price and amazing service. Friend and I came in at around 8:45pm and we were immediately seated at a table in the front, no wait at all. We ordered the all day special and the food was certainly worth the price and made well. Took leftovers home, and will certainly be coming back from time to time and I recommend this spot to get a bang for your buck!

Finally, a place that has Khao soi and mango sticky rice, and delicious ones too! It's surprisingly difficult to find restaurants that make these dishes well. Top Thai's khao soi is just as good, if not better than a Michelin starred khao soi spot in Long Beach. This mango sticky rice is in my top three mango sticky rices, along with Banana Bay's and Noodle World's. The man who runs the restaurant is super friendly and insisted on giving us more coconut sauce for our mango sticky rice when he noticed we were running low. The ambiance inside is pretty upscale, but you wouldn't know from looking at the outside. The parking lot is a bit sketch, but it's worth overlooking to savor this diamond in the rough.

HOLY this restaurant is amazing! The staff is super friendly and the food is spiced just right! I got the Khao Soi and I can swear by it. Definitely will be coming back again

I've probably driven past this restaurant a million times. But one day when I was craving Thai food, I realized here was this gem a few blocks away. Seriously, if you blink, you'll miss it. But what a hidden gem! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining room is clean and classy and a nice buddha fountain is there as you enter.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was VERY good! I ordered the seafood fried rice. The rice was hot and flavorful. It had shrimp and white fish. Usually when there's white fish in a fried rice, it's usually rubbery. NOT here!! The fish was so tender, flakey and delicious!!!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved the ambiance and they're so nice!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The fried rice portions are generous, so I can't wait to dig into my leftovers!!! I'll be back....hungry for more!

Found a great Thai restaurant. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ample parking, inside was clean and pleasantly decorated, and the service was great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the recommended chicken wrap. It is a must try dish. Then we ordered fried rice pork, pad thai shrimp, and chicken curry. The food was fresh, order size was generous, and the price was reasonable. I recommend you try this place.

    Salad with dinner special

Top Thai is a small cozy restaurant that has now moved to a location on Lindley in Northridge. While these dining premises are smaller, they are well appointed and the decor imparts an intimate feel. One advantage here is they now have their own parking lot next door and one does not need to worry about looking for a place on the street. During my first visit at the previous location over a year ago, I had their lunch special of the Spicy Basil and was very impressed. So this time, I came for a dinner carry out and ordered the same Spicy Basil with beef as an entree. It came with a small portion of steamed rice. The dish had a mild flavor and the sauce had no body, hence diluting the spices. Half the beef pieces were chewy. Maybe a change in the Chef? Either way, the service was good and I will definitely be going back.

We stopped by on a Tuesday for lunch, and nostalgia definitely did not disappoint. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of seating, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy a meal. The Jjolmyeon has always been our all-time favorite from the LA location, so ordering it was a no-brainer. And wow... it somehow tasted even better here! We also ordered the Yuk Kalguksu (육칼국수) and Gun Mandu (군만두), and everything hit the spot. The Yuk Kalguksu came with such a generous portion that I happily finished the noodles, enjoyed some of the rich, spicy broth, and still had enough soup and beef to box up for another meal. Talk about a bonus dinner! The mandu was perfectly crispy and paired so well with the refreshing, chewy jjolmyeon. For us, a restaurant earns a spot in our regular rotation only if it checks three boxes: delicious food, friendly service, and cleanliness. Hodori easily checks all three. In fact, I came back after work the very same day to pick up dinner for the family (because one visit clearly wasn't enough ). We ordered Galbi Ugeoji Haejangguk (갈비 우거지 해장국), Galbitang (갈비탕), Tteokbokki (떡볶이), Samgyetang (삼계탕), and Yukgaejang (육개장). I placed the order before leaving work, and by the time I arrived about 15 minutes later, everything was neatly packed and ready to go. As a working mom, finding a restaurant that serves delicious food, offers great service, and makes takeout this effortless feels like striking gold. It saves me time in the kitchen while keeping everyone's tummies full and happy. Safe to say, Hodori has officially earned a permanent spot on our takeout list.

Absolutely terrible customer service…read more I came in with my two kids (ages 4 and 8). They were quietly waiting while we looked at the menu and were just moving the utensils around on the table like normal little kids. I politely asked if we could order regular meals to dine in and kids' meals to go. The younger employee simply said no, which was fine--I was only asking. Then an older Korean lady came over, got right in my face, and loudly said, "NO TAKE OUT!" The tone was rude, embarrassing, and completely unnecessary. Instead of treating us with basic courtesy, she made us feel like we weren't wanted there. As we were leaving, she pointed at my kids and shooed them away from the table because they had moved the utensils around. I was honestly speechless. I would never let my children trash a restaurant, and I would have cleaned up anything before leaving. To make it worse, this isn't the first time. On a previous visit, I watched this same older lady and an older man give my friends dirty looks and a nasty attitude over the tip, even though they had already left 18%. Charging around $35 for a single meal with rice comes with the expectation of decent hospitality. Instead, we were treated with disrespect from the moment we asked a simple question. There are too many amazing Korean restaurants in Los Angeles to spend this kind of money and be treated this poorly. Save your money and go somewhere that values its customers.

We did go an hour before their closing time, which is why it was probably quite empty, but it was nice not being in crowded place for dinner. We ordered a couple of things to share. We got the pork wontons in chili oil, the shrimp and chives boiled dumplings, the beef fried noodles, and the sweet and sour pork ribs. The food arrived pretty quickly. Great family style portion sizes, and very flavorful! The prices were also reasonable, which was a plus! Also, loved their house made chili oil. It was the perfect level of spice for me, and delicious. I poured that oil over all the food, which made the food taste even better! All the condiments, Russian dressing, ranch come in prepackaged little containers. Ranch tasted fresh and homemade. I used a little of the Russian dressing. Is that a Brent's thing? $22 + $3 for French fries. I wanted a little sweet and got the blueberry cheesecake. That was the best cheesecake ever. Actual blueberries inside the cheesecake. So creamy and delicious. $11 Pickles are always my favorite. I got bagel chips with my matzo ball soup. I ordered corned beef and cabbage for my 99 year old mom. She said she didn't like the cabbage, no taste. She's 99 ‍ It's been a while since I was there. It feels the same. Booths and tables. Same decor. Our server Laura was super sweet and patient. Helpful in our decision making. Ricardo cracked me up because he brought a small soup container for my friend's cabbage soup. She was a little perturbed it was too small. Ricardo insisted it would fit and it did PERFECTLY.

K Food Village is small with a casual but comfortable vibe, perfect for a meal with some family or friends. The food is immaculate. Came with a small group so got to sample a couple dishes. The galbi combo was pretty good, the soup was a delicious hit with its seafood base. The kimchi fried rice was excellent, genuinely one of the best I've had and I finished the entire plate myself. The japchae was good too -- strong sesame flavors with some heat from the pepper, making it very filling and tasty. Our meal came with small banchan / sides of kimchi, spinach/veg, and cucumbers which were great addition to the already fulfilling meal. Parking lot is tight, but we didn't have trouble finding parking on a Sunday afternoon. Plaza is a bit rundown, but I didn't feel unsafe. Definitely coming back here. Highly recommend everyone gives this place a shot!

The spicy pork was packed with flavor, the soup was hot, spicy and comforting , and the kimchi pancake was crispy and delicious. The service was also a standout. Everyone was so kind and intentional, and you can tell they genuinely care about the experience they provide. The chefs absolutely know what they're doing because every dish felt thoughtfully prepared. We loved it so much that we came back two days in a row, which says a lot because there aren't so many great food options in the area. Some of the best Korean food we've had in the Valley. Parking can be a little hit or miss depending on the time of day, we came early in the day so there were plenty open; but it's 100% worth checking out if you're in the area!

Very honest opinion: Not sure if I'm eating the same food as everyone else leaving reviews here,…read morebut I got the signature beef (Lanzhou) noodle soup combo and it was incredibly disappointing~mediocre. Server guy was chill. The food is served in a paper bowl, unlike the nice bowls you see in their pics. Tl;dr: if you're curious, don't waste your time, bafang is open 5min away Preface: I KNOW it's mall food, but for a restaurant that continuously pops up as #1 on Yelp whenever I search for food around the northridge/chatsworth area, I'm going to treat it as if it were a #1 spot. Beef noodle soup: to be very blunt, this was quite flavorless. The beef was dry as bones and looked like it was sliced with a mandoline. The noodles seemed undercooked and it felt like I was eating al dente spaghetti noodles. I got a medium spice level which didn't even seem that spicy, just a lot of cough inducing chili oil with no burn. Pan fried dumplings were ok. It honestly tasted like it was deep fried and not pan fried. Unsweetened black tea: hands down the best of the 3 things in the combo, which is quite telling. Honestly you get a decent amount of food for $15. But to constantly take the top 5 for recommended on Yelp in this area and waste my time to even look at it, it definitely doesn't belong remotely close to top 10.

Finally popped in after constantly seeing it on my FYP and it did not disappoint. I ordered the…read morespicy beef noodle soup combo which came with 4 dumplings and a beverage. The service was friendly and the wait was reasonable. Its located in the mall which means that you don't really get much of a vibe from this place alone but of everything surrounding. The soup was not spicy imo, I have a high tolerance, but it did have a good flavor. The noodles were thick and soft but they lacked a bit of flavor. The beef was soft and flavorful with the smaller bits of beef, which resembled ground beef, were very tasty. The soup was good overall but felt a bit too oily. The dumplings had a light crunchy exterior and the inside was juicy but it felt just a bit too mushy for me. Overall a good place and I would return to try something else.
