    Fried rice

Under New Management is Right!! We had chicken skewers with peanut sauce. Husband favorite. He will order again. I had red seafood curry. Delicious! I ordered #2 heat, was not enough but could really taste curry. Ordered regular fried rice. Fluffy and good. Nice pour of wine and Thai beer. Definitely going back. Open 12-8 Wednesday closed.

The food is good but not excellent. It's not a pure Thai food restaurant. It has Chinese Ana Japanese items too. The Tom ka soup and Penang Chicken Curry were the creamiest I had ever had, possibly too rich! The pad Thai is sweeter than I like. Not pad flavors. Service is slow but personable. Great for local takeaway. Interior ambiance is a bit dated and in need to update.

Absolutely awful! Stay away!! I am a Carmel valley local... so many better options in the valley. I ordered green curry w shrimp, curry had no seasoning (green curry) and no shrimp, it came with calamari. I ordered yellow curry with chicken, came with shrimp. I ordered shrimp spring rolls and had no shrimp. I called at 6:08 pm and she said give her 25 min. I showed up at 6:45 and food wasn't ready until 7:19. Wasted my time. I went over order upon pick up and realized she totally screwed up our order. She blew it off and said "it's ok it's ok". My family was hungry so I was like whatever. We need to eat. Food was awful, no taste, sloppily put together. 100% disappointed and will never go back there again. This is my 2nd bad experience.

Their new menu has been launched and look so amazing, come and try! The patio is the best for springtime.

Wow! What a find! I came with a group of 7 ladies and we all ordered separate dishes to share! It was more than enough food and the food was delicious! The flavors were wonderful and the food was light and fresh. We also ate outside in the patio which was pleasant. Because we had so many dishes, it took a bit longer to get our food, but that's understandable. This is why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars.

I ordered the panang curry. It was okay. A little too rich, and the broccoli was strange. My husband ordered the bbq chicken and he said it tasted like fish and was pretty dry.

At first this place is so beautiful. I took few pictures outside and inside. They only had one guy worked as waiter. The owner was cooking in the kitchen. They were very busy. However, customer services is still excellent. All the food we ordered were unbelievable delicious !!! I told my daughter it is the best Thai food I ever had !!! The coconut soup was real soup bc they gave me a lot of soup ! Lol Not like other restaurants. I loved the spicy pumpkin curry so much ! The owner came out to say thank you before we left. She even told us to drive careful since it was a little late. I wish I could have a chance to go back again. But it is very far away from where I live. It's about 3 hours drive. I wasn't a Thai food fan before but now I am ! But only for this wonderful yummy place.

"Oh wow" was my impression after the first bite. The flavors were complex and tasty. Sweet, spicy, very... Thai. I didn't expect this level of authenticity in the middle of Carmel. What a nice find! We called in our order of chicken with green beans and the beef salad on a Sunday night at 7. They were ready in 30 minutes. Both delicious. Bravo!

Starting with the yellow curry, this was one of the best dishes we ordered along with the soup! The curry had great flavor from the cumin and turmeric curry paste, and came with potatoes, carrots, yellow onions, and chicken. The sauce was rich, flavorful, and perfect with a side of rice to soak everything up. Portion size was generous enough to share as well. The only downside was that the chicken was unfortunately a bit dry. The BBQ beef was the biggest disappointment in my opinion. The beef was marinated with lemongrass and black pepper and had a nice grilled flavor, but the meat itself was very dry and not worth ordering again. The pad Thai was decent overall. It came with Thai rice noodles, stir-fried eggs, bean sprouts, onions, and sauce, and we ordered it with steak. The flavor was almost there and still enjoyable, but the dish leaned on the dry side which held it back a bit. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The ambiance was clean, quiet, and peaceful, exactly the relaxing atmosphere you would expect from a Thai restaurant.

Finally!! A place worthy of a review!! ALSO YOU HAVE UNTIL THE END OF THE MONTH TO ENJOY IT (scroll…read moreto the end for more context) In a central shopping area so lots of parking! We were passing through Salinas on our way home from the mini cow farm and decided to stop here for dinner based on their high rating and while we were skeptical because were unfamiliar with the area, this place delivered!!! No restrooms! We hopped into Pollo Loco, used them, and headed back over. The place is small with multiple two top seaters. We were the only ones in there and ordered the fried chicken over fried rice, beef pad see ew, and thai teas. While we waited, multiple people who all seemed like regulars came in. First, it was someone who came here to order on their WORK BREAK to be sure it would be ready for come pick up when they were off work. Then it was an ol timer who the cashier greeted by name! A young woman with an older relative came next and the elder greeted the cashier in Thai! By this point, we had gotten our food and it was so good that I had one of those Ratatoullie flash backs to the first time I ever tried fried rice in my childhood!!! The pad see ew was more of an 8/10 for me but I do think it would be a 10/10 with chicken. The fried chicken over rice was a perfect 10/10. Im pretty sure they use corn starch to fry their chicken instead of flour because the breading stayed on the chicken and didn't slip off the way others can and also, you cannot deny the crunch of this dish!! Thai tea was also very good. Crisp and flavorful without being too sweet. I love thai tea but sometimes their so sweet I can see my prediabetic diagnosis on the cup. I think adding boba would really elevate it but still recommend it! Now, while we were eating, a family of 4 came in and after completing their order, they asked if they could add a mango sticky rice to their order. The cashier apologizes and said they were sold out for the day. It was 5:30 pm. They close at 8:00 pm. I was immediately sad I never got the option to try a dessert so delicious it sells out before closing. I mentioned going before the end of the month at the start and thats because the cashier took a call where he told the customer that "no they were not closed yet" and that "they would be here through the end of the month." The cashier then mentioned to a regular that they were handing over the restaurant to his cousin and while they will have the same recipes, he is not sure if the food will be the same. I also think I heard him mention something about getting a spot in Monterey and you can bet good money that if they do, ima be there.

The restaurant is located on the lowest level of the Carmel Plaza, I really loved the location because there are plenty of places to park right around there. Between the two of us, we shared: - Miso cacio e pepe: we came specifically for this! It's one of their most well known dishes, and I highly highly recommend! So creamy and savory, and the mafaldine pasta has such a nice texture, the ruffled edges hold on to sauce perfectly. We also added a bit of gochujang that came with the bibimbap and it was so good with some spice. - Dolsot bibimbap: my husband's favorite Korean dish so of course we had to get it! An excellent variety of veggies, which was nice since we barely got any veg on vacation. The kalbi beef was so juicy and delicious, and not overcooked. - Matcha Tiramisu: absolute must get, so unique. The cake layers were soaked in matcha, and topped off with some fresh fruit. - Grapefruit sake spritz: I was on the fence between this cocktail and the yuzu champagne spritz. Our waitress said that the grapefruit spritz was much less sweet, and I am so glad I decided to go with that option! It was the perfect amount of sweetness, not overwhelming. Overall, my husband and I agreed that the matcha tiramisu was the best bite either of us had all weekend!

The beef was tender and flavorful, and the addition of diced nuts added a great crunch and texture that tied everything together beautifully. The Panang Curry was also excellent. Rich, creamy, and full of flavor. It came with chicken, green beans, and bell peppers, all of which tasted fresh and perfectly cooked with a nice bite. The curry sauce was smooth and comforting, soaking into the dish incredibly well. A must-order for curry lovers. Lastly, the Nam Sai reminded us a lot of pho. Did not cut the saltiness of the meat at all. Strike two. The wantons were soggy and unappetizing. There were barely any peanuts. And absolutely none of the noodles that are described on the menu. So no noodles, cheap lettuce, and not even a free extra dressing. There goes $23 down the drain cuz I could barely eat it. What a disappointment. Strike 3! I'll maybe go back for the tofu Tom Yum.
