This is a great place to go for Thai food. I'll be honest and I haven't tried the sushi but I can vouch for the Thai food. The curries are all good but especially the yellow curry. I would highly recommend the pad thai here as well. Please note that all the dishes can come in different spice levels: mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot. Do not order Thai hot unless you think you can really handle it, otherwise, you won't enjoy eating your dish. read more

Excellent Thai food. Went here for lunch. I lived in Bangkok 13 years and we've been looking for a Thai restaurant that makes Pad See ew well and this was very good. The only difference I see is it seems Florida doesn't have the super wide noodles that are used in Thailand for this dish. It must be a regional thing as we haven't found them here at all (although they did have it in CT where we moved here from). In all other ways the look and taste was very authentic. Some may think that is obvious since Asians own it but this dish is a standard I grade from as it's hard to make as authentically as in Thailand so I gave it an A. My husband's Pad Thai was also excellent as was the hot and sour soup and egg roll. Very good quality, friendly staff and very busy. Highly recommend. read more

We had a great experience here on my husband's birthday. We had Vegetable Tempura, which tasted so "clean" they obviously used fresh oil. He had the Vegetable Pad Thai and Panang Tofu. I had a Rainbow Roll and Salmon Roll. Very good quality, patient servers, and great ambiance, although the Disney Instrumentals was kind of distracting. We'll visit again before our relocation to Idaho. read more

The staff was friendly, restaurant was clean. However the food was terrible. Their sushi rolls are bland and drowned in so much sauce that I couldn't even taste the fish. My wife ordered Beef in Peanut Sauce. Again, drowned in so much sauce and it tasted like they had literally heated up peanut butter and poured it over the beef. To top it off, my wife was extremely sick after about an hour after eating there. Very unpleasant. Will not be a returning customer. read more

We've driven by Thai Wasabi many times and finally decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. It's located in a shopping center and we were pleasantly surprised when we walked in. It's very nicely decorated and everyone there was very friendly. Our sushi was delicious and had a nice presentation. We will be back! read more

So my girlfriend and I were looking for a new place to try out this past weekend. Since Thai Wasabi was maybe two minutes from our place and had pretty good reviews we figured we would try it out. Turns out the food was really good. We started with a bowl of miso soup and the ginger salad. I enjoyed the taste of both of them. We then ordered some sushi (spider rolls, snow crab rolls and the sashimi dinner). It was all awesome! We finished everything in a heartbeat. I hope this place stays around because the food was good, the service was good, and it is so close to us. I will be coming back for sure. read more

Stop! Do not enter this establishment! I met my sister here for dinner and we decided to split 3 sushi rolls. We ate about 4 pcs each and called it quits. The sushi lacks any real flavor or taste despite the 14+ ingredients in each. The signature rolls are overwhelming and the secret sauce is absolutely disgusting. They don't refill the soy sauce on the table and now I know why...Each roll comes drenched in soy sauce straight to the table. Every piece fell apart in a matter of moments. Awful experience overall. Sometimes it's the place off the beaten path that surprises you. This place is one of them. Hidden in a shopping plaza but easy to get to off I-75. The restaurant was not crowded when we arrived but the staff was friendly and accommodating. My friend was looking for Sushi and I wanted Thai so this place was the perfect combination. I did become a bit worried when they were out of Tuna. They did substitute yellow fin and maybe it's because we went on a Monday after the weekend when some restaurants are closed. None the less the sushi roll was very good and the seaweed salad had a nice twist of a little hot spice. My Chicken Pad Thai was full of chicken and the peanut sauce was yummy spicy. This is a great restaurant that is much needed in East County. The atmosphere is great compared to most other independent restaurants in the area. Great sushi, killer "pad thai", and you have to try the curry. My kids love sushi, and thai food, and everyone enjoys eating here. Menu prices are reasonable. When we're not doing that, however, we love to go out to eat, and Thai Wasabi has been one of our favorites for years. Unpretentious, casual atmosphere, friendly service, fresh flavorful well prepared meals, make hungry Viking Warriors very happy! Fried banana and coconut ice cream make many a Viking smile. Sushi is amazing, also Vikings find the sweet and sour chicken to be completely original and fresh, the best this Viking has ever eaten. However, this has made it impossible to eat any other version of sweet and sour chicken, which make Viking Warrior sad. My family is never disappointed when we eat here. The food is amazing as well as the atmosphere. The staff is courteous and attentive. Worst service ever . We got seated and waited twenty minuets for no one to come and even take out drink order . We ended up walking out because we got ignored so many times. There was only 4 tables of people in the restaurant so it's not like they were busy at all ! Just because we are young dose not mean they can just ignore our service . I live near this place and have been going for years. To this day I still go about once a week. I have never had bad service. I have never had bad food.
