Side sticky rice and spicy Laarb
    Liz W.

Ordered this place via DoorDash. The food itself was good, the fried rice was tasty. My husband said the red curry was decent. The portions are very small. $10 for mango sticky rice and it was a tiny ball of rice. Same for the side order of just sticky rice $3 and a very small side. I know door dash up charges a little so I can't be too upset. If I tried again, I'd just dine in. It wasn't worth the $93 I paid for delivery.

We ordered our lunch from this place and it did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. So good I don't have a lot of pics. The dumplings were flavorful and full of meat . The Basil Thai rice was delicious. The chicken satay on a skewer was flavorful and tender. The pad won sen, noodles were delicious. Everything was delicious, will definitely order again.

Pad Woon Sen combo with beef and shrimp, extra hot. Perfection!

O...M...G This food is F'ing PHENOMENAL! This is my very first experience and I will definitely return. Just Crazy! I had the Wonton Soup, spicy, the Shumai and the Pad Woon Sen combo with beef and shrimp. I added eggplant and basil, Extra Hot. The Shumai was truly delicious, but the soup and the Pad Woon Sen? Lights out. Please visit this place. I need it to succeed. Absolutely worth it.

Now I love my Thai Zapp!!!!! And you know I had to try this location. It was soooooo yummy. I used Door Dash and tried the take out first. The food was plated perfectly and with the same care as it always is. The flavor was spot on. The sauce was just right. Not too much and not to little for the noodles to be dry. Next time I will go and dine in.

    Fried bananas

Recently visited after my trip from Thailand because Im still strung out on the food. This food literally tastes like the food I had in Phuket. The staff is SUPER dope, they are very friendly, and Ive had a GREAT conversation with everyone that has serviced me! Its really quiet and calm inside with cool music. I always get the drunken noodles, tea, and maybe a mango sticky rice, fried bananas and coconut ice cream. I will say as someone else did, I expected a bigger portion of rice for the sticky rice but I got distracted because the ice cream was SO good.

    Drunken noodles with Beef

Had an amazing experience at our department lunch today at Thai Zaap Express. There is a cute dining area in the back and the drunken noodles with beef were incredible (10 out of 10). Loved meeting the owner and will definitely be back soon!

Sounds delicious! The tofu drunken noodles and coconut ice cream combo has me intrigued, definitely adding this spot to my list.

I read in one of the publications about a Filipino inspired absinthe bar on Bourbon St in N'Awlins…read more(entrance around the corner on Bienville). It was a must visit during my trip to N'Awlins. I had a Pernod absinthe, but I also sampled the longanisa patty sliders and Tatlo's version of pancit. The longanisa was crispy, and nicely seasoned. Likewise, the pancit had moist noodles and a nice flavor. This is bar food, so there wasn't much protein. In addition, I would have liked some lemon to squeeze on top. Tita was a super nice bartender/waitress. A Filipina bartender also stopped by to chat. The remainder of the staff was friendly & warm. Regarding the ambiance, its part of Old Absinthe House. It literally is an old house w/ the restrooms on the third floor. You have to walk up a circular staircase to get up there. I would definitely return to Tatlo (the number 3), the next time I am in N'Awlins. The vibe is chill, and the bar food is very good.

I was skeptical but after seeing some pics of the inside I'd decided to venture on over to bourbon street. I'm so glad I did. The experience as Tatlo was like no other place I've ever been. The decor when you walk in was sexy and vampy. There were candles all over the place and it smelled like Palo Santo and Sage (which I love). At one point there was a woman walking around saging the bar. My server (so sorry I can't remember her name) was sooo nice!! She had great recommendations and she checked on us often enough but not too often. At one point she brought us over a bowl of a dried herb with a candle and a marker. We were told to write down something we wanted to manifest and then burn it with a candle. I thought that was so cool. The food and drinks all had spiritual themes. My friend had the bubble bubble toil and trouble drink and that one said it was for protection. It came in a cool glass that she had to blow into to get the color of the drink to be uniform while the drink bubbled. I had the Florida water which was for energy clearing. It was well made. I really enjoyed it. Then I got the zodiaquiri, which I also really liked. For food we tried the special which was a deep fried soft shell crab dish with a creamy pasta. So good!! The crab batter was flavored to perfection. We also got the synergy dish which represented fertility, abundance, and growth. It was chicken adobo arancini. This was really good. The outside was nice and crispy and the inside was moist and flavorful. The last dish we had was Triquetra which were pork ribs meant for spiritual enlightenment. I also really liked this. The sauce was sweet and tangy and the meat was tender. There was a tarot card reader there so I also decided to get my tarot cards read. I've never done that before but it was an awesome experience. I'm going back next weekend with my sister! Can't wait!

I have a love/hate that they change their menu because I thought I did my due diligence and studied the menu and precious Yelp reviews to prepare what to order. But then the menu changed but it was fine bc Nico helped steer us to all the good stuff! We ordered a bunch of dishes and ate family style so we could try everything! The stand outs to me were the Pani Puri with the fiery mint water that you pour and lets you control the heat (you eat it in one bite), the Pork Dan Dan Buco Di Creste noodles (we asked not too spicy, we're getting older! Haha ), the Gulf Shrimp Pakora, and the ice cream pie from Lucy Boone! Mister Mao is where the old Dick and Jenny's restaurant used to be across from Rouse's on Tchoupitoulas. It's a little pricey but so worth it for a fancy night out!! And ask for Nico, he's the best!!

It had such a nice smoky flavor and was absolutely delicious. The broken rice was very creamy and delicious. However, the title is misleading because it was more like grits with cheese on top. The Prahok Ktiss was pretty flavorful and authentic, but there weren't enough sesame chips that came with the dish to balance out the spiciness of the paste. We asked our waiter if we could get more chips, which they said they weren't able to do. As an Asian American, I could tell that the chips were an inexpensive snack that you could buy from the grocery store, so I thought it was odd that they couldn't fulfill that request. I loved the pani puri! The presentation was beautiful and the strawberry oddly went well with the dish. Do not recommend: The Kashmiri fried chicken tasted dry. Crab pasta- I forgot the name, but it didn't have much flavor and I didn't taste the crab. Service: friendly and attentive. Overall, the food isn't the most authentic but some of the dishes were unique and tasty.

All of the food is priced extremely reasonable - I'd happily pay more for the meal I had today. The fried rice dishes offer a spice level choice ranging from 1 to 5. I had the Thai fried rice at a spice level 3... eating this dish was the first time I've ever tasted flavor in a fried rice dish. A 10/10 flavor profile from a dish I usually steer clear of. The restaurant was lit very nicely; warm, moody lamps on each table and dimly lit overhead lighting ran through the entire place. Everything was clean and looked nice! From the start, the experience was excellent--we were seated right away, and our server came over promptly to get everything moving. Although the restaurant was busy, it was comfortable and not overly loud. As always, the food did not disappoint. I had a cup of Tom Kha soup with chicken, while my husband ordered the Tom Yum soup with chicken. Both were perfectly spicy and absolutely delicious. We also shared a sausage appetizer, which was very good, and then split a shrimp and scallop entrée that was truly outstanding. I will definitely be ordering that again. I can't wait to go back.
