I got the 2nd spiciest option and I felt like I could have gone with the most. Don't hold back on spice. We ordered this food using GrubHub and just picked it up, but there was one issue. My friend for the Pad Thai and made sure to select no spice. Well I think they took that literally... she said the Pad Thai was bland... so make sure to select some kind of spice! I have been a frequent customer & decided that after they finally nailed the amount of spice I like to give them a review. I am a VERY fair reviewer. I believe you must first: give the management/server or owner a chance to fix whatever goes wrong BEFORE leaving a nasty review. Now, if they choose not to make it right or don't care, then you have every right to share your thoughts. How can they fix anything you don't communicate?!?! Food is always fresh & Thai rice on point. But I finally found out to suffice my spicey taste buds, you must say:"Thai spice" as a Caucasian... if you just say"I like real spicey" they don't think you really like Thai SPICEY. My sister and I dined here before seeing Judy Collins at the Gallo Center. The restaurant is a half block away so it was most convenient. My go-to order at a new Thai restaurant is green curry chicken and theirs did not disappoint. It was as spicy as I like. The portion was too much for one person and unfortunately I couldn't take the rest home! My sister ordered pad Thai and she enjoyed it too. My Thai iced tea was delicious too. We had to wait for our table but by the time we left the restaurant wasn't even half. I'd definitely return if I visit Modesto in the future. read more

I went to the Thailand restaurant for lunch and will not be going back. The food was greasy and the noodles were mushy and it was way overpriced. I ordered a lunch special which was supposed to come with a salad and a few other things and did not get any of that. My coworker paid over $16 for some greasy eggrolls and nasty fried rice. Went in on a Friday night & got seated right away. Were quickly given water & I ordered a Thai iced tea. From the moment I sipped the tea, I knew the food was going to be bad . We ordered egg rolls to start & they came out sooo dark & the inside was so soft and mushy we thought it was a cream cheese filling -- just mushy over cooked cabbage ! I felt like they fried these yesterday and refried them today. Then we got our food very quick.... A little too quick. We got Pad See Ew with beef, General Tsao chicken, BBQ pork, BBQ chicken, Pad broccoli, and white rice. The pad see ew was so bland & mushy it was inedible. The BBQ pork was dry and flavorless. BBQ chicken tasted like it was cooked 2 days ago.. once again.. dry and flavorless. The General Tsao chicken was "good" but then again, so is anything deep fried smothered in sauce. The pad broccoli was the only thing I would say was actually good and enjoyable. I've lived in San Francisco since 2017 and ate Thai food regularly & feel confident enough to say this is the worst Thai food I've ever had . Modesto doesn't have a ton of Thai restaurants to choose from, but I would stay far far away from this place. Our bill was $96 and felt like such a waste of money on horrible, dry, flavorless food. I used to frequent Tasty Thai, but after a few orders and the food taste was just mediocre. Tried this place out by ordering take out, and I was throughly impressed. The order was: Pad See Ew (Chicken), Pad Thai, and Creamy Tom Yum Soup. All three were amazing, and great portions especially considering it was to go. The chicken for the dishes were soft and not dry at all. The flavor was there and not lacking that department.
