Thailicious is located in a little plaza near a Burger King near Norwalk and South St. in Cerritos. I came in with a friend for lunch on a weekday. There was only one person working in the front. He was juggling between taking orders, working the cashier, and running all of the food. It's a little shop, so please be a bit patient and understanding. The food came out quite quickly! I went with the combination shrimp and chicken (+2$ extra) pad see ew. The portion is generous and it was very delicious. However, I'm sad that there were only 2 small pieces of shrimp. Nonetheless the meal was still very tasty, and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Make sure to check in on Yelp, as you get a free lemonade! Our Thai place changed management a few years ago and we've been looking for a new one. I Looked at reviews for Thailicios and they looked good so we gave it a try. We were happily surprised and well be going back. The place was clean including the restroom. A nice simple decor. We started off with a Thai tea which was tasty. We tried the yellow curry with soft tofu, which had a nice flavor and a small amount of spice. Also the pad Thai noodles w/fried tofu. Thailicious is delicious and nutritious for me :). Some of the better tasting Shrimp Pad Thai I've had and I've patroned quite a few Thai restaurants. The lady who cooks the food is an actually thai lady and she makes the food with extra love it seems. It's a small place so it can be a bit busy but the spacing of the tables doesn't make you feel cramped. They utilize the space well without making things too crammed in. Great service too, I haven't had a bad encounter. 5 stars bc they don't skimp on the shrimp. They usually have like 7 pieces and they cook it well so it's not over cooked. They always ask what utensils you prefer and what condiments you want when you have takeout. Little things matter and they do the little things right so they get my 5 stars. Pad Thai, Khao soi, broccoli Chinese with pork, Penang curry, mango sticky rice, and a last dish I don't know what it's called but it comes with vermicelli noodles. Each of these dishes were delicious. I would definitely recommend you come and try it the khao soi. The dish has a curry base with flat noodles topped with crunchy noodles on top and you splash a lime on top of it. Wonderful dish just to try. The staffer is very informed and very nice. Been coming here for almost ten years and it's always a great experience either dine in or take out and staff is always kind and fun and remembers our usual orders which makes me feel so special. I thought it was hilarious. In my opinion, hit it out the ballpark with that intro. This was our first time coming here so we were not sure what to get. B asked us what we normally get when we order Thai. We told him and he gave us some recommendations. He did not disappoint. The Pad See Ew with Shrimp was packed with so much flavor. He also told us to add some chili sauce to take it up a notch. Their Thai-Lious Fried Rice with a fried egg on top was off the hook. He also recommended a curry noodle dish that I did not see on the menu, so I cannot tell you the name of it. But it had fresh noodles with veggies and curry sauce, then topped with some fried noodles. I love me some curry, so I have to say, this was by far some of the best I have had. I already have some friends in mind to take on our next dinner out here to try it. I hope they love it as much as I did. I stopped by on a Wednesday to pick up lunch. They offer some great deals on Lunch Specials, which come with a slightly smaller entree portion, a side salad, and rice for ~$10 after tax. I was intrigued by the Yellow Curry with tofu and selected this as my entree. I picked up the food, traveled with it, and then ate elsewhere. Upon arrival I found that there was some transfer of curry over onto the rice (no issue there) and also onto the salad (less than ideal). The flavor on the curry was robust, even strong after mixing with the rice. The salad had a ginger dressing on it, nice and light flavor. The bites of salad that had curry were not as good as the bites with just dressing, but it didn't bother me too much. The portion size of the rice was just right to mix with the curry sauce and I ate it all. Even though I'm a large guy, the lunch special was enough food to fill me up.
