Pretty decent amount of people eating and getting take out in the middle of the week. If I have another craving for thai, I will definitely go here again. This place is delicious and adorable, nestled in the shopping center just in front of Central Market. Personally, I prefer to come here around lunch time; the portion sizes are perfect and the price is great for what you get - a small appetizer, house salad, and an entree. The appetizer choices (at lunch) are a summer roll (which is essentially a vegetarian spring roll, the fresh kind), an egg roll, or two potstickers. Personally I prefer the summer rolls, but I'm also a sucker for peanut sauce. Their Panang Curry is my favorite thing off the menu - absolutely delicious and one of the best I've ever tried! Super flavorful, a little spicy, and filled with red bell peppers and springs of basil (which is honestly my favorite thing in Thai food). I got the pork, which was pretty good, but I would probably get chicken next time just to (tamely) mix it up. My boyfriend really enjoyed their Red Curry as well, which had bell peppers, basil, and bamboo shoots mixed in. If you want to up your veggies, you can ask for both whatever meat you want and veggies - I think it's like, a $1.50 extra, but they make it worth your money. And speaking of veggies, this place does have vegetarian options for just about everything on the menu! Overall, delicious food and a cute atmosphere. My review is coming down some stars. We recently dined here, but was disappointed with 1. the portion 2. the quality. I ordered the soup, which was tossed together...the vegetables and chicken for the soup were in huge chunks and pre-chopped for other dishes. The way they were chopped is again, obviously not for soup. It makes for an unpleasant experience. Think about when pizza places make salad...the huge chunks of everything. This place should be much higher than three and a half stars - this is the best Thai in Fort Worth. Their peanut dressing on the salad is amazing, the basil fried rice is excellent, and we've never had a bad meal here. I especially love the basil fried rice with brown rice; it's healthy but so good that it doesn't feel like I'm watching my diet, the vegetables are always perfectly cooked. I also recommend the pad Thai, pineapple fried rice, and potstickers. Their Thai iced tea is delicious too. I stopped in at Thailicious for a quick lunch last week. The place is new and pretty fancy looking with gorgeous chandeliers and nice decor. Thailicious is a "sister restaurant" to Rice N' Noodle and Thai Select. The ambiance and the prices are a step up from the other two. This would be a good place for date night or a girls' night out. Servers were attentive and helpful, and my food didn't take too long to come out. I just had an order of spring rolls because I wanted a cheap, light lunch. They were delicious and fresh, and their peanut sauce is to die for! I will probably come back for dinner now that I know what kind of place it is. We had lunch here on a Saturday around 1pm, and the service was maybe the worst I have ever had. We sat for 6 minutes with no one to take our drink order, then after someone finally got out drinks another 5 minutes before we could order. The salad came out after we finished our meal, which apparently the server thought was funny as he laughed and said, "It's like dessert!" I waited tables for 10 years, and if something like that happened to one of my tables, I made sure to let the manager know so they would comp something or do some kind of damage control. But that did not happen. The food was less than mediocre at best. The orange chicken had too much sauce and was chewy instead of crispy. My fiancé had the yellow curry, which he said was good, so the reason for the 2 stars. Will not be returning here. read more

Holy crap! The free appetizer is a slice of watermelon. Constitutional amendment to make the free appetizer at all restaurants a slice of watermelon. It's the perfect warm-up snack if you think about it, and everyone should do it. They have great egg rolls, and very good rice. Their spicy scale from 1-5 is good; 3 is plenty hot for me (and I would think most people who think spicy-but-not-blow-your-butthole-off spicy), and it's nice to know the option is there to heat it up or tone it down. Wife enjoyed her shrimp summer (spring) rolls and bowl of red curry. Her steamed white rice came out in the shape of a heart. The inside aesthetic is a bit dark and really relaxing. Minus one star because it's a little on the pricey side. Two appetizers, two entrees, one soda cost $50. That's about $15 than I'd expect for Thai/Vietnamese/Chinese food. For a dinner it wouldn't be as bad, but as a lunch stop I think the prices are just a little out of reach for making it a routine stop. Still, we'll return. Very good. read more

We recently moved to Fort Worth (from Dallas) and have been longing for Thai food, our favorite Oriental food. None of our friends or acquaintances had a recommendation, so we looked at Yelp. Thailicious had many good comments on the food so we, and another couple, decided to go there. I must say, we weren't disappointed! The portions were generous - we had food left to take home. We had spring rolls, corn cakes (not the best), Larb salad, Jungle curry, and Panang. Our friends had beef lettuce wraps and Three Flavor Fish. The Three Flavor Fish was the best at the table although all others were good and tasty. Service was a little sketchy, but everyone was pleasant and the food was delivered hot and steaming as it should be. We will definitely return to Thailicious for our next Thai "fix." read more

This is a very nice spot for a tasty meal, real quick. I have to mention, I get the pad Thai, almost every single time. I feel they do a very good job at that. Spicy level 3 is perfect. The atmosphere of this new Thai restaurant was wonderful. The food was delicious, the prices reasonable, and the staff wonderful. Now for a bit more detail, I have always been a fan of more traditional Thai food as it is the level of spicy that I like as well as the proper mixtures of other flavors. I have had a hard time finding a place that serves real Thai food as most of the time it is the greasy noodles that far too many Thai restaurants think everyone likes. It was a blessing to eat at a restaurant that understands what a meal should be like. I was most impressed by the person who served us actually asking if we minded her taking one of the items back and bringing us a new order. She felt it looked overdone. I would have never noticed, but the fact that they are that concerned with service made a huge impact on my feelings on the place. The decor in my opinion, and the overall feel of the place is in short, amazing. Even more so if you know the place it use to be was a little burger place like five guys. To go from that to a "real" restaurant is just breathtaking. Even the staff was fantastic, friendly, and not only glad to serve, but also talk with. This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back, and I can see myself going often. Even the owner came over to check on us, see if we needed anything, and was incredibly sweet. We actually just stumbled upon this restaurant when we were shopping at Central Market. We had about an hour to eat before we needed to leave to go see a play, and thai food seemed like a safe bet time-wise. However, this place was slow. I'm usually not in a rush at restaurants, but in my experience, Thai food comes out pretty quickly. This particular night was on a Thursday, the restaurant only had a few other diners eating, so we assumed it wouldn't take long. However, 40 minutes later our food came. I got the Pad See Ew Chicken, which was ok. I was aware there would be bean sprouts in it, but the amount was way too much. Overall, the dish had way more broccoli and beansprouts than anything else, which is disappointing, considering that it's a noodle dish. Compared to other thai places in the DFW area, it doesn't measure up. One good thing: Flavor was good, so there's that. It's not life changing, if that's what you're looking for. It's certainly passable as Thai food, but a little bland in my opinion. The curry lacked the depth of flavor, and didn't have that rich, deep spice that I've come to expect from That curry. The pad thai is good, but not particularly memorable, and the drunken noodles were unremarkable. I will say my favorite thing was the summer rolls and peanut sauce. These are fresh, and the sauce is a nice balance of zing and flavor. This wouldn't be my first choice for Thai food, but it is convenient. Decor is nice and staff has always been friendly when I've been, but the price and lackluster taste leave much to be desired. Ordered the Seafood Tom Yum hot pot for like $13.95. I bypassed the cheaper cup and bowl sizes because I was hungry. They served me a standard bowl perched atop a pathetic little flame. My hopes of quality over quantity were quickly dashed...my recent frozen Tom Yum broth from Trader Joe's was comparable. Shrimp was small, squid was average, the mushrooms were of the canned, umbrella origin. My husband and I were driving from Austin, Texas to Baltimore, MD and we stopped off in Fort Worth and we tried Thailicious. Well worth the stop! The staff was warm and friendly. We arrived around lunch time on a Saturday and the place was busy but not crowded. We were seated promptly and we received fast, courteous service. I liked that I had a choice of dressing with my salad. The potstickers were tasty! The curry with crunchy noodles and cooked noodles was extremely good. I liked the blending of flavors. I inquired about heat from the food because every place is different and they said they can adjust to your needs. The dish I had was mildly spicy so next time I'll try something with a little more heat to learn what my tolerance is at this restaurant. Of course my favorite drink, Thai Tea was very good. I have been to this establishment a few time. I like my thai food to be spicy. This place doesn't understand the term. I ordered the fire noodles I asked for an 8 out of 10 second time I went after I asked what heat index would it be in Thailand they said 15 so I ordered a 15 still came to me as a 0. The third and final time I went same thing. Each time I go to this place I have a conversation with the owner and she tells me that they lower the heat because I am white and that is what will sell, of course they always say that they will correct it the next time I come in. Well I gave them 3 chances. I just made a thai red curry for the first time. Even though I messed up by putting to much ground ginger it still was better than any thai food I have had in the DFW area. I will be making thai food at home from here on out. read more

We eat a LOT of Thai food and try new spots often looking for a good authentic Thai restaurant. I was trained by a soccer coach from Thailand who introduced me to "GREAT" Thai food and worked at a Thai restaurant in college. Thailicious is GREAT thai food and great service. Which, if you visit a lot of Thai restaurants you know is hard to find, especially if you have kids with you. We have four kids and take them here, it's a nice restaurant, and the staff is always so friendly and wonderful! The food is amazing and we always get the coconut chicken soup "Thom Ka", Pad Thai, Curry, and often we will get the spring rolls. I also enjoy their salads and their Thai iced tea is delicious too! We go whenever we visit Fort Worth! It's worth EVERY penny! You should definitely try it! DELICIOUS! read more

Love their food. Very poor service. I went to pick up my carry out order tonight. Wait time was long- 45 minutes. No problem. I showed up on time. Paid for my food and the gentleman working says it isn't ready. I took a seat and waited. And waited. Nearly 20 minutes passed and i finally asked about it.. it had been sitting there for nearly my entire time there. Now cold and needs to be reheated. Adding on, there is zero flavor to my usual pad thai! I always get spice level 2 and it's way off. So sad for how pricey they are. read more

I'm a Thailicious fan. Every meal I've ever had here has been delicious. If you're in the mood for curry, you won't go wrong with the Panang or the Massaman. And if noodles are more your style, the Pad Thai and Pad See Ew definitely hit the spot. I recommend going with a friend who likes to share... then you can get curry and noodles. I'd have busted out the fifth star but for two things. First, the dining room is a bit cramped. If you're not lucky enough to get seated in a booth, you'll probably feel crowded. Good location and decor. The staff inside was very nice and attentive. The menu was very large and VERY vegetarian friendly. So far so good! Tofu Spring Rolls - the rolls were fresh and tended to stick together, but that peanut sauce was GOOD. There was something about the sauce that I really enjoyed. Soft Shell Crab Red Curry - Break this dish into 2 and it would be good. I do not think this dish worked in harmony. The soft shell crab was fried and soggy due to the curry. The curry itself had a good taste though. Lychee in the curry? It was odd but kind of worked, I would rather just have the pineapples though. Drunken Noodles - very good! It had a good mix of shrimp, noodles, and veggies. I really enjoyed this item. Salmon Panang Curry - #$%@ing gross. Do NOT get this. The salmon was overcooked and sauce lacked flavor. Taro Boba - DELICIOUS. I have had my fill of taro slush and this is one of the best for me. I have had such a roller coaster with my dining experience here.. Some good items and some bad items. Loved this place early on! We are done with them though. Mediocre food these days and our to go orders have been wrong multiple times. Oh, and lets talk about how overpriced it is. Today I placed an order and was told it would be ready in 15-20 minutes then arrived 45 minutes later. Paid for the order and the hostess walked off. Not only has our order not only been started, she failed to inform me they had not even put the order in though it was in the system. When it comes to Thai food, I usually base my ratings on their pad thai. We ordered beef pad thai, chicken panang curry and Bangkok fried rice, all 5/5 on their "spiciness scale". Pai thai - the sweetness was overwhelming and unbalanced with the tart and spicy aspects. the noodles were also very soggy and saturated with an orange-tint sauce. I was under impressed considering their price range. Panang curry - enjoyed the most. flavors were well balanced. The chicken was slightly over cooked and tough. Came with a "heart-shaped" rice platter that was aesthetically pleasing. Fried rice - don't remember the flavors whatsoever. & there was a lot of meat. Service - at first, waiters were attentive to getting our orders. After that, someone dropped off a tall glass bottle with clear liquid inside and left without saying what it was. Drove out to Fort Worth to meet up for lunch with an old friend. It's right off of I-30 at Hulen, convenient for a drive from Dallas. Due to unforeseen traffic, I was about 30 minutes late and my friend didn't get my text, so she got there on time and waited. She said they were very nice to her and didn't pressure her to leave or give up her table while I sat in construction. We both ordered the Pad Thai lunch specials, hers with chicken and mine with tofu. We started with salad with peanut sauce, which was delicious! I want to bottle that sauce and bring it home. I ordered the egg roll, which is marked as vegetarian on the menu, and she had the summer roll. The summer roll came out before our food, but my egg roll came out with the entree. I slathered the peanut sauce on it and took a big bite...only to taste meat of some sort. I had to be *that person* in public, spitting my food out. I asked the waiter, who was very nice, if the egg roll had meat in it since the menu said vegetarian and he had to ask another lady that worked there who told him yes. He then said I should've ordered the spring roll...which isn't on the menu for the lunch specials. Just the (vegetarian) summer roll, (vegetarian) egg rolls and pot sticks, with no substitutions allowed. So, my appetizer was a waste and there were no apologies made for the incorrect labeling on the menu, just blaming me for not ordering something that was not on the menu. Now that I didn't get my appetizer, I dug into the pad thai. We both got spice level 1 and enjoyed the kick. Not too hot for my boring taste buds. The flavor was rich, not too greasy or anything. Saved about 1/3 to take home as leftovers and it reheated well. The food came out quickly after we ordered and our drinks were refilled often. The prices are lunch are a bit higher than normal Thai lunch options, $9.50 versus the $7-8 I am used to. We may return, if only for its convenience and options, but we'll see. This place is good, and generous with their portions. For the price you pay the portions are good and the taste is good as well (at least from what I had). Had the red curry with beef and pad kee mow (drunken noodles me thinks) with chicken. Pad kee mow was good, i thought it was a good amount of noodles and meat. there were lots of veggies in it too, but overwhelmingly so. The red curry was tasty; ordered on a spiciness scale of 2 (out of 5). I'm a fan of thai curry in general, and it can be hard to differentiate by taste alone, so I pretty much judge thai curries based on ratio of meat to veggies to sauce. That said, there was a nice amount of meat and not too much veggies. Portions are fine. I just don't get it when places mold their rice into shapes; this one makes them into the shape of a heart. Sorry, I just think that's a little tacky and probably covers up the fact that they don't want to serve you a good portion of rice. I've ordered Basil fried rice numerous times here but the last 2 times I requested my vegetables to be chopped smaller. They told me this is the last time they will do that service. WOW! I'm always on the prowl for some delicious pad Thai so Thailicious seemed like a good place to try! It is conveniently located off of 30 and Hulen in front of Central Market. First things first, the pad Thai was delicious. I get mine with 0 spicy (I'm a major whimp) with tofu. My friends got the chicken pad thai, one got a level 2 and the other a level 3. The server laughed when my friend got a 3 and said "you're going to cry" which prompted her hubby to change his to a 2. They both said their food was delicious but after a few minutes the level 3 had taken its toll on her and she wished she had gotten the 2. Their chicken pad thai had tofu in it as well which made me feel a little gipped like there should have been more in mine. Overall a good experience but the service was a little off. We had 3 different servers ask us what drinks we would like after our drink orders had already been taken and I ended up not being sure who our server even was. read more
