Ordered take out on a recommendation from a coworker. Maybe we should've dined there instead of ordering take out. The beef curry was decent flavored but really watery. Like it was the leftovers made from lunch, they spiced it up alright but not best Thai curry. We also ordered some Tom Yum with shrimp. But we only got like 3-4 shrimp in the entire order. Perhaps they were busy? We will try again maybe for lunch one day.

This cozy little Thai spot definitely delivers in a big way on the flavor, even though it may be small(seating about 15-20 people) You order right at the counter, grab for yourself a seat, and then the food will be brought right out when it is ready. Mango Sticky Rice capped the meal off after we had shared Drunken Noodles, and the Thai Papaya Salad, and the Chicken Satay. Everything we had was absolutely delicious; the real star of this meal for me was dessert. The Mango Sticky Rice was quite sweet, quite comforting, as well as a perfect ending for the meal. TheirThai Tea was something we had as well, and it was rich and refreshing. The service was quite fast and efficient and also friendly. I can definitely see myself coming back to this spot here. I will be back anytime I want delicious and good Thai food.

Food was delicious! I got the spicy drunken noodles and my bf got the chicken fried rice and we both loved our meals. The dumplings and Thai tea were also a 10/10! Didn't get a pic of the food though :/

Amazing little Thai restaurant in Fort Worth! Great lunch spot, take out is great, and dine in as well. Prices are also great. The owner behind the counter was so nice and sweet, and always willing to chat you up or give you recommendations. I love their flat noodles like the Pad See Ew. Best part is they can make it spicy like real Thai spicy, just ask. Curry was also good. I recommend the Mango with Sticky rice for dessert. I highly recommend this place!

It was spicy. It was flavorful. It was absolutely delicious. There was a good amount of chicken to rice ratio. Easily devoured the whole thing in a few minutes. My only complaint was that the bell peppers are on the larger side compared to everything else. Nonetheless, would absolutely recommend this place.

Some things stood out as different today: - It was desolate on a Thursday at noon, just 2 couples eating - The food is different - see below The good? Service was fast. There were 4 male workers hanging out, ready to serve us. So that was nice. Also, the app and meal came out fast. Today, two of us shared: - Fresh Spring Roll with Shrimp - Pad Key Mao with Beef There were two shrimp rolls in the order. Both were very fat - stuffed full of lettuce and cabbage mostly. Each roll had 1/2 a shrimp in it. For long rolls, I'm accustomed to two 1/2 shrimps in them. Being so fat, they were harder to eat as they sort of fell apart from the bulk of green in it. As we split our meal, they served each of the two rolls on their own plates, each with a dish of peanut sauce. So that was nice. The Pad Key Mao (Drunken Noodle) was meh. I'd rate it a 2.5 on its own. The presentation was nice but there just wasn't much flavor and the beef wasn't thin strips of sirloin. I think we'll pause Spice for a bit.

Hubby had their specialty - Khao Soi, a yellow curry broth with noodles, veggies and protein of your choice. He got the seafood and said it was delicious. The service we received was A+ - friendly and helpful. We've finally found our Thai place in Fort Worth. When dining to the restaurant, they have recently changed their name to "Thai Zen" and the Street Sign says "Thai Zen by Thai Terrace." Thai Zen is still owned by the same folks, so if you liked Thai Terrace, keep going back! The dining room is cozy and bright with several lovely booth spaces to keep your dining experience a little more private.

While the bahn mi isn't exactly traditional, it is still very good -- I'd highly suggest getting it with the pate. The sampler appetizer has a little bit of everything and is great for sharing. Pineapple fried rice was delicious. Pad Thai also great! If you're a spicy eater like me, just go for very spicy. They have 4 spice levels (mild, medium, spicy, very spicy) and this is a reminder to myself to get very spicy next time. Thanks for the delicious meals!

Malai Kitchen in Clearfork is a welcome detour from a shopping afternoon, Thai and Vietnamese…read morecuisine in a bright, airy space that makes you want to settle in for longer than your credit card probably intended. A quick note on seating: the patio is lovely in theory, with the optional open windows and a breezy feel, but the chairs are not winning any comfort awards. Inside booths are the move. Also worth noting, this is Fort Worth, and once the thermometer hits triple digits, the patio conversation ends itself if the windows are open. Plan accordingly. Malai starts every table with steamed sticky rice and an eggplant dip, which is a charming little ritual and a genuinely good one. We also kicked things off with the Edamame, a heads up on the heat level there, and the Fried Imperial Rolls, filled with ground pork and shrimp and served with a sesame soy sauce. Fair warning: these do not photograph well and arrive at the table looking a little shy. Don't be fooled. They're flavorful, subtly spicy, and well worth ordering. For entrees, we tried the Basil Vegetable Fried Rice two ways, one vegan and one with chicken. The vegan version was a genuine surprise, with vegetables cooked just right and a flavor that didn't need the chicken to make its case. The mushrooms, however, had the texture of something you'd find in a hardware store. Chew at your own risk. The Green Curry, meanwhile, was a case of too much of a good thing. The curry was so heavy-handed it drowned everything underneath it. Sometimes restraint is a virtue. Save room for the Banana Pot de Crème. It's creamy, subtly sweet, and a graceful finish to the meal. The service at Malai is enthusiastic, and I do mean enthusiastic. The staff works as a team, all smiles, attentive, always nearby. Occasionally a little too nearby. More than once a plate nearly disappeared before we were done with it. It's a small complaint, and honestly a far better problem than the alternative. They're warm, cheerful, and clearly enjoy what they do, which goes a long way. Portions are generous, so order a few dishes and share the wealth. For a lunch stop between shops, Malai Kitchen punches well above its weight.

This place is legit, the real deal! I recommend stopping by if you are in the area because it is so worth it. They are located in a small shopping strip mall thing on the Haltom city / Fort Worth border. I have had their duck, the tum yum soup, a rice noodle dish, and an appetiser I can't remember. During my most recent visit, I had the green curry with beef at a level 2 spice and the drunken noodles level 4. I love that they make sure to ask what level of spice you want on every dish because i have been to a couple of places that just make them all the same level as your main dish. In the past, I have gotten their Tum Yum soup, and its delicious. I had their pad se ew with beef, amazing. I had their spring rolls, pork belly, and they are one favorite things on the menu. I always end up ordering more than what I can eat, so i usually order dinner here and then take my leftovers for lunch to work the next day. The service here is great; they have lots of space to host a big lunch rush. Highly recommend yall try them out.
