Lovely Thai restaurant with the most delicious Pad Thai I've ever had. We also enjoyed their egg rolls- both veggie and chicken. Hubby had their specialty - Khao Soi, a yellow curry broth with noodles, veggies and protein of your choice. He got the seafood and said it was delicious. The service we received was A+ - friendly and helpful. We've finally found our Thai place in Fort Worth. When dining to the restaurant, they have recently changed their name to "Thai Zen" and the Street Sign says "Thai Zen by Thai Terrace." Thai Zen is still owned by the same folks, so if you liked Thai Terrace, keep going back! Ate here again today- have never done a review- but after our experience today with Justin as our waiter- one is warranted First the pineapple curry my wife had was simply awesome & we both ate the wonderful Spring rolls with the most smashing best tasting peanut sauce we have ever tasted! and the fried dumplings But the most impressive thing was the Service- Things were kinda slow and Justin was the only waiter but his mannerism- his very winsome persona and the way he did things was simply heart warming What makes a good restaurant is obviously good food But a close second is how it is delivered and served!! I'm writing this based on a pick up order. I've done pick up order couple times here and the food never disappoints!! Fair portion for the price, pack with flavors, and they don't shy away when giving you proteins. Order always comes out fast! Not a complaint there also. One thing though, their customer service can be a hit or miss. Last time I was there which is Saturday, March 8th. Young lady was working the front and she was kinda unprofessional. She kept saying "ugh I don't want to be here" and "ehh I'm tired I want to go home" and so forth. As I customer I don't really care to hear that. ‍ and when one of the cook left to go home and went to his car she said "what the fuck, he didn't even say bye to us" I was a little taken a back. Came here for dinner again since the first time about 5 years ago. I remember the food being good but it's a little out of the way for me so I haven't been back. I don't remember how it looked before but on this visit the interior was bright and neat. They even have a nice seating area in the front for, I'm assuming, people waiting for their to-go orders. Our server was an older gentleman who was very friendly but the ordering process was a little rocky. The food came out fairly quickly and everything was made to order. I ordered the beef salad and was really disappointed with the chewiness of the beef slices. I also ordered pork pad woon sen which was good aside from the celery. Thai Terrace is my brother's favorite place to get Thai food. We've agreed that we've had better Thai food in other cities, but Thai terrace is the best you're going to get in the area. We called in an order: kana crispy pork$12, basil fried rice with shrimp $12, pad see ew with beef $10, and green curry with chicken $10. They ask what spice level I wanted for each dish and I chose spice level 1. I also got a panda milk tea with boba. Everything came out to $51. Not bad! We got home and unpacked all the food. It was a lot. I didn't realize certain entrees came with white rice. Next time, I probably won't get fried rice in addition to the entrees with white rice. The spice level 1 was just right for me, but I'm a baby when it comes to spicy food. My brother loves spicy food, so it definitely wasn't enough for him, but he has a spice stash at his house, so he just adds Thai chili flakes from his pantry. $10 for an entree that comes with rice is a steal in my book. I thought the kana crispy pork was ok. It wasn't as crispy as it probably would have been if we were able to eat in. I liked the green curry, too. I didn't love it, especially when I realized it had zucchini in it. I've never had green curry with zucchini before. My favorite dish was the pad see ew. We got it it's beef, but I think I'll get it with chicken or pork or shrimp next time. I wonder if they would even just put more noodles instead of a protein. The milk tea was really really sweet. Next time I need to ask for maybe 1/10 of the sugar they put today. The boba was nice and soft though. I also want to try the fish cake, bbq pork and Tom kha soup. I'm excited to go back! read more

Just ordered 3 entrees on grub hub. 2 with noodles and one pad ginger. Pad ginger didn't come with rice...I guess you have to buy it separately. Portions might as well have been child sized. I ordered drunken noodles and pad see ew, both in my opinion were just okay. Compared to some of the other Thai places in Fort Worth, the flavor felt more bland and monotonous, usually when I have drunken noodles, it is very savory with different veggies giving variety of flavor but the one here at Thai Terrance didn't have a strong savory flavour. The Pad see ew's chicken was slightly burnt giving it a char flavor that I didn't really like and also lacked a strong savory flavor. Maybe they just need to add more sauce? I'll give them the benefit of doubt that I did order late near their closing time so quality might have gone down but I won't test my luck here again read more

This was our first time to Thai Terrace, and we were delighted-- by the service, cleanliness of the restaurant, and especially the amazing food! The portions were generous, and the heat was perfect! I had one of my favorite dishes, Pad Woon Sen, and it was the best of any I've had anywhere. My wife had the Mix Vegetables with tofu on the lunch and couldn't get enough of the sauce. We are a bit spoiled here in Fort Worth in that we have some great Thai food around town and Thai Terrace is another solid addition to that group. Located in one of the old strips off Vickery, it is easy to overlook this place. But if you want some good Thai, it is worth a stop. I decided to deviate from the norm and went with Tom Yam Noodle Soup (with shrimp) instead of trying one of the curries. The soup was delicious, a bit of a Thai take on Pho, with some added spice. However, I think the favorite thing we had here was the Fried Dumplings. My god, I could eat a hundred of these. Ordered takeout from here last night. I had been before but I can't recall why I didn't review the first time. Last night I realized it was probably because the food was so good I hadn't even been able to get a picture before I gobbled it up . Y'all....This might be the best Thai in Fort Worth. And I've tried almost all of them. I was able to slow down and take a picture before devouring everything this time (though you know I had to hit those Spring Rolls one time ). Anyways, I took a bite into the perfectly fried tofu, after dipping it into the sweet/sour sauce that comes with it, and I wanted to cry it was so good. I moved to the spring rolls, which I usually don't like compared with fried egg rolls, but these rolls hit DIFFERENT. The sauce for these was amazing as well and I recommend asking for extra when you order. Now for the pineapple fried rice. My first bite was like stepping into a jungle full of so many delicious new flavors, I didn't know what to do so I stood up and dashed away from my dinner tray with my hand to my chest gasping at how amazing the taste was. When I settled back into my seat on the sofa, I realized the rice was fried to perfection and there were nice chunks of pineapple and tomato inside, and of course that amazing tofu. The tiny cashew pieces (make sure to ask for without if you're allergic), add a nice bit of crunch to contrast the soft rice and tender tofu. You're probably tired of reading by now, and/or drooling, so I'll stop. But this place is fantastic and I'll be going back soon, especially to support during the pandemic (and to hit those spring rolls again ). Great job Thai Terrace. I like hole in the wall mom and pop restaurants. Unfortunately this is not the case. I remember looking at the picture and reviews thinking "wow the stars are high and food looks good"... but it was very lacking. Everything I had was bland... water down curry and tasteless pad wonsen. The rice is chewy... very hard to swallow. Whats even more frustrating was the rude woman at the counter. I asked to be seated and she told me "to go". Can I not eat here? She was just very rude and argues with me. The guy who was assisted me at the table was nice though. However when I asked for chili and fish sauce which is the staple for Thai sauces he gave pepper flakes and soy sauce. Is this a chinese restaurant? Then I really question "Authentic Thai". Went here last night and the staff were super sweet. My friend and husband both got pad Thai. Asked for no spice. When they brought it out they were told there was some spice for some reason and they couldn't remove it. But if it was too spicy they'd bring something else out. My friend is pregnant and it was too much so they brought her another dish. Her husband got the beef salad and said it was too sweet. My husband who is a pad Thai fan just couldn't get into this one. It was maybe too sweet? The flavor just wasn't normal. I got masaman curry. I thought it was delicious. But it was spicy and I couldn't share w my daughter which I had planned. I asked if they could bring a mild version out and he said that's not possible. So, he brought me some coconut milk to add to what I was giving her. She liked it. This has been one of our favorite places for a long time. Our favorite thing is the curry followed by coconut ice cream. We always came for the great food, but also because we loved the staff and the warmth of the servers, and the host. Things have changed recently and we miss the happy smile of Nick at the front counter. He always made the visit great. The food is still good, but the atmosphere is just not as warm and comforting as it once was. Our last visit will be our last for awhile. The return of Nick would get us back immediately. It's just not the same without him. We can find other good Thai food....but there is only one Nick. They said he was on vacation...but he has never returned. This place is in an unassuming strip mall and has decor on the inside that follows suit. But, the food is what's important here, not the decorations. Ok, so first off the place was pretty busy and only had two on the waitstaff. They worked hard and were very attentive. Now for the food- I went there with another buddy who loves food as much as I do, so naturally we started off with the fried dumplings. I'm not sure what they did to these things, but they were outstanding. They were crispy and crunchy on the outside with a wonderful shrimp and chicken mix in the middle truly a treat. I might just order 20 fried dumplings as my meal next time. For my entree I got the pad see ew with the soup of the day. The pad see ew was the perfect combination of saltiness and sweetness with fresh noodles. I got mine with pork which was nicely flavored and well proportioned to the noodles and fresh, crisp Chinese broccoli. Did I mention the lunch special was $7.95? As much as I love food, I'm just now sinking my teeth into and expanding my horizons with Thai food.
