    the service guy came after 4 days and was very good found the modem was bad and fixed it. just a follow up on my previous experience.

    Last month I purchased a new Iphone 8+. I would be remiss if I didn't give a tremendous thank you…read moreto Mike Mugovero for all he did in helping to set it all up. First, let me just say that I had about 20,000+ pictures on my previous phone along with voice recordings, and documents that all had to be transferred. With Mike at the helm I didn't lose a thing! Not only that, he was instrumental in getting me the correct color phone after I inadvertently made an error in the color purchase. All the while I was there(which was a fair amount of time) he worked on my phone, worked on phones and tablets of other customers as they came in, and answered phone calls and helped solve several issues over the phone. NOT ONCE did he get upset or get frustrated with any customer..just went from one task to another. He even assisted me in finding a coffee (Because with the makeover the public coffee station has been removed?? Really sad there Wireless Zone Corporate for that decision..small snack area always made people feel at home and relaxed while having to wait..should put it back..and get more comfortable seats for patrons?) I am sorry that I didn't get to this sooner but definitely was not going forget it because Wireless Zone Groton has been my family's go to phone stone for about ten years. Mike is always willing to step in and try to help with any issue any of us have, from lost, to broken to wrong color(sorry Mike!) Just an awesome employee and wanted to be sure to say THANKS!!!! Ps A couple months ago I had an issue with a bill from Verizon and Matt helped take care of it with WZ Corporate as well. The representative told me to go to the Verizon store because they were having a promotion for an IPhone 17. So my husband and I went to the Verizon store in Groton. I explained to the representative about the offer from Walmart but asked about the better offer from Verizon. He had no clue as to what I was talking about so asked me about my internet service bc they are now part of Frontier and I could pay less for internet. I again asked about the promotion on the 17 iPhone. He knew nothing about it. I said maybe one of the other reps knew. From his desk he called to I believe her name was Abbey who had her back to him. I then tried to explain to her that I was told from the person from the 800 number that there was a promotion on the 17. Meanwhile as I was trying to tell her she continued to have her back to me as though I was talking into the air. My husband was so annoyed he got up and said "let's go". When I got home I called the 800 number again bc I felt I should speak to someone who knew what was going on. I explained to a young man my experience and within 5 minutes he told me exactly what the promotion was. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. I thanked him for listening to me and explaining to me what the promotion was. I Will NEVER go back to the Groton store. They treated me so disrespectful as though I didn't know what I was talking about. Yet never told what the promotion was for the Iphone 17. I will go to Best Buy to purchase the phone.

    Be very careful when they try to sign you up with incentives! I was supposed to get a free…read moreAmazon.com gift card. Now they are asking me what the code was from a month ago. Who remembers the code after everything was all set up! So I signed on with Dish and Frontier wireless in order to receive the gift card. I'm am actually on the phone trying to get my free gift card. The wait time on hold is ridiculous and you cannot cancel for two years or you pay a large fee!! I say if they record your conversation then listen to it because then they will get the code and the rep telling me all about my free gift card. I smell fraudulence and it stinks!!! They are now telling me it will take 2 to 4 weeks, I'll let you know? Still didn't get the gift card!!! Thank goodness I didn't get the gift card because then you couldn't cancel!! I changed service which was tough to do! They were pushy and rude! Not using your service anymore!

    Once Again I have had the horrible experience to have to call Dish Network regarding a reoccurring…read moreproblem with one of my home receivers ( I have several receivers in my home) This one receiver constantly shorts out and the screen goes black. I have done everything as requested to fix this receiver via their phone reps and online help. I'm at the point now where I told them I Do Not work for Dish and should not have to fix their equipment !! I have asked for service and for the receiver to be replaced! Apparently my request is not acceptable! They have refused saying I should "troubleshoot" the receiver as instructed! How Many Times must I do this??? Now this company has the unmitigated gaul to say they will (one time only) send me another receiver for Me to Hook Up and if that wasn't the problem they are absolved from any further responsibilities regarding this matter. In my opinion Dish Network needs to immediately revamp their service before even more customers leave their network.
