THE BEST PHO FLAVOR! Very good food! The service was a tad bit slow, we weren't introduced when we walked in, stood for a while before being greeted. Once greeted, the server was very kind and helpful. The place was clean. Highly recommend their food!

Great as always (: I always get their chow mein whenever I'm in the area and it hits every time. I like to dowse them in chili oil and it's really good! Their smoothies always hit the spot for me -- especially when it's getting really hot. Service is great as always and the ambiance is nice! It's always packed with customers.

Located in a large plaza with a Grocery Outlet and Dollar Tree, there's plenty of parking to be had. We came on Sunday around 11:30am, and there was even a small farmers market on the corner of the lot. The restaurant is tucked away in the far right corner, you have to walk past Grocery Outlet and Dollar Tree into a small alleyway/inlet and you'll see it on the back right. Seated immediately, we were handed menus and water quickly. My 4 year old wanted chow mein, but also wanted fried rice. I wanted neither of those options, and since we were on a mini Mommy & Me getaway trip, we couldn't bring back leftovers. So here I am, not sure how I was going to balance out what he wanted vs. sucking it up and eating what he wanted. Then I noticed that every entree came with the choice of white rice or fried rice (no added charge), and you can add extras like chow mein for $3. No way?! A mom's dream come true because then I could treat myself to a traditional pho, score! When my son's plate came, it was a heaping mountain of food. It was wild. It was clear we were in no way able to finish it between the two of us, let alone just him. And we had ordered a regular size (how huge is a large portion?!?! I need to know). While the sweet and sour chicken was a bit on the tougher drier side, the flavor was excellent and definitely added a lot of umami to his noodles and rice below. My pho definitely hit the spot and this makes for a very happy mama. You pay at the cash register in the back, and we were basically in and out within 30 min. My son ate almost all the noodles and a decent amount of rice and chicken, and if you're a mom of a young kid, you will understand how much joy and relief that brings. What a lovely hidden treat on this trip!

Came here for the first time after so many people recommended it and it was good but not the best. The pho broth was flavorful but the spring roll appetizer was flavorless and the peanut sauce was watered down. I would come back for the pho and the service. The staff was really nice and very attentive!

Simply put -- I'd come again. Came here craving noodles and ended up really enjoying the boba and wings too. My partner and I were seated quickly on a Sunday afternoon, which was a nice start. The ambiance is casual and relaxed -- nothing fancy, but clean, comfortable, and perfect for a laid-back meal. I ordered the BBQ pork and shrimp vermicelli noodles plus the spicy chicken wings as an appetizer -- both were delicious. Honestly, I would've ordered another round of wings if my noodles hadn't come out so fast. The vermicelli bowl was packed with flavor, and I really loved the sauces mixed in. My partner's pho was also really good, so that's another win. Plenty of seating for a hole-in-the-wall spot, with lots of parking which is always a plus. Prices felt fair for everything we ordered. And don't sleep on the boba menu -- the drinks were surprisingly good for the area. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Marina and in the mood for noodles!

Great local noodle bar. They were surprisingly busy so i opted to sit at the bar. Great choice to people watch. The food was amazing. I would make the trip for the coffee alone.

The food is always good and piping hot because it was cooked fresh!! The customer service was great they told me about 15 min it will be ready and it was ready in 10 which was awesome. Ambience is always great the restaurant is always clean I never had a bad experience here.

Long Long Long WAIT! Not recommended if you are in need of a meal asap. Come ready with patience or go elsewhere. With the good reviews and my daughter craving for pho, I lucked out finding Noodle Bar. The establishment is smaller than I expected and with a cluster of so many patrons, I was confused as to how the process of ordering worked. It looked as though patrons walk up to the registers and place orders vs someone actually coming to the table??? I could be wrong. Unfortunately, we could not wait the 45-50 minute estimated wait time. A neutral 3 stars because we weren't able to actually dine but the crowd sure made it look promising.

Decided to try this restaurant on a last minute change of plans, I must say I was very happy to have had those change in plans. For starters, it's a small location but filled with great artwork and plenty of seating to fill the place up. I loved the variety of selections from their menu but ultimately went with their Beef Pho. My goodness, it was so flavorful and balanced perfectly with the noodle to meat ratio. We also tried one pork & one veggie egg roll, they were equally as delicious and not too greasy which was perfect. Also decided on a shrimp spring roll, very refreshing and light to balance out the egg rolls. Our server was very kind and even notified when there would be a server change because of lunch breaks, I appreciated that information. I'm not a local to this area but I am very glad to have made the stop here. Whenever I come back, it's a must to eat here again.

Excellent service paired with handmade, quality, authentic Vietnamese food makes Noodle Bar Marina a must visit. I may be biased as I have been frequenting Noodle Bar for over 15 years, both in Seaside (before there was a second location) and Marina. The spring rolls are bomb and fresh and the peanut dipping sauce (I add a little chili oil to mine) are a great way to start. I'm not a boba fan but they have all the flavors and boba fans rave about the boba here. The wife gets the chicken pho every time and I get the bbq pork with fried rice every time. We've tried the noodle dishes and beef pho but we know what we like, and it's all good! If you're visiting the Monterey-Salinas area check out Noodle Bar in Marina, I guarantee you'll get good food. Maybe call ahead, get it to go, and enjoy it at Marina Beach.

Pretty popular place so there was a wait time but the staff super friendly and organized, the chicken vermicelli bowl and the combination pho were delicious, the spring rolls were a little tough, but overall great experenc

You can't go wrong with the Noodle Bar! It's a small space and can get pretty packed but the food is worth it! The service is quick and friendly! The servers are really nice and helpful with recommendations. The food is super yummy and flavorful! And fairly priced! The boba is good, not the best I've had but still satisfies the craving!

My favorites were the Lemongrass Chicken Wings, Chow Mein & Jumbo Salt Pepper Shrimp Their wings reminds me of San Tung wings in sf, the noodles in the chow mein has a nice bouncy texture & the fried shrimp was so crispy, I didn't have to remove the shell. Oh and the shrimp are HUGE I also heard good things about their pho. I noticed other tables around us ordered their different noodle dishes. Their drinks were yummy and I was pleasantly surprised with their options and quality of ingredients for a non Milk Tea specific establishment. The 2 women working the front were very nice & helpful. They were moving nonstop to take orders, serve tables, ring up guest, clean tables and also make drinks. The restaurant has 10-15 tables for seating and plenty of parking outside. The last point that will keep me coming back is the price. While other restaurants push towards $20 plates, QQ does a great job at keeping the menu affordable for all ages I'm sad I haven't tried this restaurant sooner.

Noodles were cooked perfectly, and the steak was tender with no complaints at all, just a really solid bowl of pho. The spring rolls were fresh and well-made, paired nicely with the peanut sauce. Simple but done right. Tried bun bo hue for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The spicy lemongrass broth had great depth without being too heavy or overly citrusy. Loved the mix of beef and pork, it made the dish feel hearty but still balanced. Only minor downside was the noodles, I personally prefer thinner ones, but that's just preference. Parking was only mildly challenging, as a space opened up after only a single lap around the block. Inside here, you'll find a busy place with a few tables and individual bar-style (partitioned!) paired seating along the walls adjacent to the kitchen in the middle part of the restaurant. Order up at the self-serve order kiosks, tap in your table/counter number, and they bring out your order in a couple of minutes. We had six of us in our party, and most of us kept it simple by ordering the default Tonkatsu Ramen with different customizable options. Most all of the ingredients in this order were on point - The Chasu Pork Belly was tender, thick and delicious, ramen noodles nothing special, but generally stil on point, as were the bamboo shoots. However, the co-star/centerpiece of the Tonkatsu Ramen other than the Chasu Pork slab should be the broth, but sadly the broth was far far TOO salty which overpowered the other flavors in the broth. Chasu Pork 4.8/5, Tonkatsu Ramen 3.1/5. Service was good as everyone was hustling hard in the kitchen, along with attentive bussers/waitstaff to quickly turn tables. They take good care in wiping down the tables here. If I return, I'll just get the Paitan Ramen like I did in years past, as that seemed less salty. Then again the Paitan soup base begins with the same chicken+pork soup base as the Tonkatsu Ramen. I hope Toribashi will step back up to their former glory.

Starting with the yellow curry, this was one of the best dishes we ordered along with the soup! The curry had great flavor from the cumin and turmeric curry paste, and came with potatoes, carrots, yellow onions, and chicken. The sauce was rich, flavorful, and perfect with a side of rice to soak everything up. Portion size was generous enough to share as well. The only downside was that the chicken was unfortunately a bit dry. The BBQ beef was the biggest disappointment in my opinion. The beef was marinated with lemongrass and black pepper and had a nice grilled flavor, but the meat itself was very dry and not worth ordering again. The pad Thai was decent overall. It came with Thai rice noodles, stir-fried eggs, bean sprouts, onions, and sauce, and we ordered it with steak. The flavor was almost there and still enjoyable, but the dish leaned on the dry side which held it back a bit. Service was attentive and friendly throughout the meal. The ambiance was clean, quiet, and peaceful, exactly the relaxing atmosphere you would expect from a Thai restaurant.

The Honey Garlic was also amazing--super flavorful, and the chicken itself was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and still moist and juicy inside.
