I came upon Thania's juice bar while visiting another establishment at the basement. I stopped by and grabbed a takeout menu to see what they offer. I was excited to see that they offer fresh healthy food at an affordable price. A co worker and I decided to try them and we got the torta with meat. They offered a decent size portion of beef and taste delicious. We also tried their cactus salad that came with chips and we took advantage of their Thirsty Thursday special and got some cold press juices. They offer a wide selection of juices and you can also purchase the juices as a weekly and/or monthly subscription. This is a nice healthy option available inside the basement that also sells their cute little bags with their logo. The fruits and vegetables are fresh, their customer service is excellent and Thania and her staff are very nice and can offer delicious recommendations. Make sure to stop by next time you're downtown and see heading to the basement in Reno. read more

Although this lovely organic juice bar was hard to find, it was worth the quest! Hand-made organic syrups, fresh juices. and particular attention to quality ingredients made Thania's stand out. I got a chocolate peanut butter smoothie and my wife enjoyed a coffee and cream. But this is definitely a business worth supporting. Situated in the basement of the historic Post Office across from the Pioneer Theater, we almost didn't find it, but felt adventurous enough to search. Really glad we did! Not only are the offerings healthy and delicious, but they are served up by friendly folks who care about their customers. Brand new spot located in The Basement in downtown Reno! The owner is so sweet and helpful when it comes to deciding what to order. They offer juice, smoothies and even some food! My husband had the pineapple ginger smoothie and I tried the pitaya smoothie. Both are fantastic! Sooo refreshing and not too sweet at all. You can tell they use the best fresh ingredients. I am so excited to have Thania's Juice Bar in Downtown Reno! This is exactly what The Basement needed. My first visit I got a few bottled juices and a humus. I love that the juices are bottled in glass. The next time I came, I got a smoothie, which you can have them put in your own cup. Stopped in for an event at the Basement and was excited to discover Thania's Juice Bar. They are new to our area (the original is in Tahoe) and the bar has an adorable cactus theme. Thania, the owner, was there and was incredibly helpful. In addition to their cold pressed juices and smoothies, they offer sandwiches and salads. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they have a celiac prep area, including its very own panini press. So fantastic! I ordered the Turkey Avocado sandwich and added the organic ham to make it more of a club. So delicious! Also treated myself to a fresh squeezed orange juice. The juices are served without any sweetness added, which made it extra delicious. I also bought some of her yummy gluten free buckwheat granola. Yum! So excited that this juicery from incline is in Reno now. The staff is some of the nicest people I've met and they actually help you know what's on the menu and explain. Customer service is one of the best! Ordered the yummy açaí bowl. They make their own açaí from scratch. The fruit is very fresh! It's a good size and filling. She brings HIGH quality ingredients to her dishes and so much love. I also can't get enough of the quinoa salad. YUM. Señora Thania and Señora Julia have the best juice in town! Made daily with fresh, organic, and tasty ingredients! They have a vast selection of healthy options. Smoothies, juices, salads, tortas, toasts, açia bowls, spreads, and more. I have yet to have something that I didn't like from here. The pressed juices have their health benefits and ingredients listed in the top of the bottle. I have visited the juice bar a few times now and can confidently say I love their fresh pressed juice. They are very flavorful but can be quite acidic. I personally love the Tahoe Blue flavor. Absolutely will go back for the juice only. The workers are kind and typically ready to help answer any questions you may have. The smoothie bowls on the other hand leave much to be desire. I got their Banana Acai bowl. The flavor unfortunately wasn't really there. It was quite Icy and runny in texture which is not what I would typically look for in a smoothie bowl (a smoothie drink sure). It really just tasted like slightly tart watery berries. The toppings were what really made the bowl have any flavor at all. A nice ripe banana, some granola which was okay, and a pile of blueberries. The worker offered honey to go on top as well which the bowl definitely benefited from as far as flavor goes. For the steep price of $14 I'm honestly really disappointed in the size and quality of the smoothie bowl. read more

The rude chick with the nose piercing / septum piercing gives me an attitude! Asked if the protein has sugar she gives me an attitude and says "natural sugar" so I ask, what do you mean natural? She says sugar from the fruit it's made from. I ask to see the package she rolls her eyes at me, I read the ingredients and it has erythritol, which is not "natural" she was super rude. I walked away. Will not eat at a place where someone gives an attitude and knows nothing of the product she is selling. read more

My coworkers and I were craving açaí bowls and stumbled upon Thania's Juice Bar after a quick Google search. Luckily for us, Thania's is located just a short walk away from the office. Upon arriving we were welcomed by who I believe is Thania. She was welcoming, super knowledgeable, and made sure to get make our açaí bowls to our liking. Our bowls were delicious and made with fresh ingredients! Thania let us know that she makes everything in-house with no sugar. Needless to say, we were all impressed by Thania's Juice Bar and will be recommending her spot to others! read more
