They started filing my nails to paint over the acrylic that was still on my nail so I asked them to remove all of the acrylic nail but I ended up leaving in the middle of them filing because my nails were getting extremely thin and hurting. I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that they just are not very familiar with acrylic since what I saw online shows that they do gel X and other manicures. Unfortunately, the application felt rushed and lacked the attention to detail I was hoping for based on reviews. My previous gel wasn't completely removed, so the new color appears different on the upper half of my nails where the old gel is still underneath. The shape and length of the nails are also inconsistent, and from the side it's easy to see that the builder gel wasn't applied evenly. There is also fuzz trapped between layers :( What made this disappointing is that I told Jennifer this appointment was a trial for my upcoming wedding, so I was really hoping for a meticulous application. That said, the overall customer service was wonderful. The massage, drink service, and snacks made for a relaxing experience, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. However, for me, the quality of the nail application is the most important part of the service, and unfortunately it didn't meet my expectations.
