I don't eat land animals and try to limit soy so I opted for the black bean burger which came highly recommended. The pattie's are nice, with a little spice to it and very moist and as a result, soft. I got a bunch of topping and paired it with the Cajun fries. Overall, I'd probably go back and try the impossible burger and request more sauce or sauce on the side bc there wasn't enough sauce on the burger. I had the secret sauce and I couldn't really taste so can't even describe the flavors. I also added vegan cheese and had I known it wouldn't have been melted on the burger, would have gotten regular cheese. The Cajun fries needed a bit more salt and were hard fried but still not bad. They were piping hot and in my hunger, def burned my tongue but whatever lol They're located on the far left when you first turn in and there's free parking. I just arrived in country and was in the area and starving, so I sought this out. Oh, and they don't take orders over the phone. It's either online or in person. They messed up my order and it was almost inedible. This place is definitely built for takeout. There are only two tables and this is more for waiting than eating food. They also have two ordering systems off to the side so you can place your order. I ordered the Freestyle with 3 patties and lemon cajun crinkle fries. Let me start with the good. The fries are really good. The Boss Blend patties are also tasty. I ordered grilled onions, grilled peppers, blue cheese, and bacon. They gave me a mound of blue cheese and some lettuce. With a name, "That Burger Spot So Extra" not only is it so Atlanta but it's so Extra! The burgers are D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S. I ordered "That 808" and was left highly satisfied! The burger is Cheesy, Cooked Medium, Juicy and prepared just the was you choose similar to Five Guys and Grind House. I also ordered a side of 6 wings! I say this in all honesty, the wings are horrible! I think they put all the effort in the burger that the wings are just an "Add On", however you can really make these so much better! They tasted very generic, barely sauced and were too crispy and small for my liking! Outstanding! This was a Yelp find and hit all the marks. I'm a cheeseburger fan, and this was better than 5 Guys (the other ubiquitous chains don't even come close). Good flavor to the beef patties, the buns were grilled, and I liked the chopped onions (versus rings). My wife had a cheesesteak (albeit with chicken), and she really enjoyed it. Do not eat here! I have been frequenting this place a lot recently. They are usually very nice and helpful. After today, I will never go back again. They are greedy and lacking good business practices. Last week, I went in to place my order. I accidentally paid separately for my meal a la carte, instead of selecting the "combo" option. They don't have the simplest ordering system. I went to pay, the cook ringing it up at no time informed me I could've saved $5-7 by redoing my order before cashing it out. Instead, he charged me more and I even TIPPED, because I like supporting places I like. My billed seemed higher then usual, I thought maybe it was the drink and the burger type inflating the cost, nope I was overcharged... After I paid, a girl informed me I overpaid. I said, to the guy/cook/manager it's fine, I'll be back next week, you can make it right then. He smiled and said ok "I'll see." I took that as I'll see what I can do if you come next week. I go in today, the same girl that told me I overpaid was there. The cook/manager was not. I reminded the girl of last week and asked if they would give a small fry complementary since I over paid and tipped last week. She had the nerve to tell me "if it was the same day maybe, but no." Really?! Then she claimed when she asked the cook last week why he didn't correct my last order, he told her, "she always pays like that!" I said, no I don't, and the other girl that I originally gave a positive review for agreed that was a lie. Because she is often there when I order and we talk. Let's say that was the case, your ordering system is trash. Why not be a good business man and correct it for me? That's what I would do for recurring good customers. Nope, not here. Nothing was done last week in the moment or said after you hustled me. Don't tell me now it could have been corrected the same day! What? Now, a customer that spends $18-25 here on average 1-2 times a month that tips for nothing, because it's carry out no service, can't get a free fry I technically paid for already? Perfect. Okay so this has been on my list for a little bit. I feel like I had the time to go ahead and dabble so I did. Now this spot is very small, it only has like two tables. So it's basically a carry-on situation. But that's okay! You come in there playing Monica and Brandy and all types of urban user, so I can get with that. Well based on the reviews I thought this would be a win. It was very busy so it is well liked but was not for me. The staff were very friendly and quick. Ordering was a bit odd on the monitors but took several tries to understand how it worked. The Inside of the rest was very small and cramped with 2 tables to eat but was occupied by those waiting for their orders. Kindred a double cheeseburger with a can of root beer for $18. The Chamblee location is a takeout place. There are only 2 tables if you want sit down and eat. That being said, the food is great. The double cheeseburger I got was very tasty and flavorful. The onions rings are nice too. We also had wings sweet potato fries. The fries were cooked well and crunch. My order of wings were crunchy with 24k gold dressing and loved it. This is the best steak sandwich we have had in years... Literally years. We searched Yelp recently for some type of hamburger spot and this new THAT Burger Spot - Atlanta popped up. We have been in this area of takeout restaurants previously but this one is new for us and for most of you. There are a number of five star reviews on here which can be suspicious, but in this case they are all right on. The steak sandwiches were full of flavor and ingredients. There are so many sandwich places that skimp on ingredients but not here at THAT Burger Spot - Atlanta. We will be back to try their hamburgers sometime soon. This steak sandwich is a meal in itself! But we tried the crinkle french fries and onion rings and neither are really worth the calories if you get the sandwich which is the star. We had to put the fries in our air fryer because they were quite doughy and not crisp whatsoever... The onion rings are really small and there's no distinction about them whatsoever. Can't recommend those. It's a 30 minute drive from my house but they wrap the sandwich in foil and place it in a takeout container so it was still warm. There are two tables inside if you want to eat there but otherwise this is mostly a takeout spot. If you travel north on I-85 you can see this white one level office (circa the 60s/70s?) complex to the right just before spaghetti Junction, but you will need to use your phones navigation to get yourself over to the restaurant. read more

This place is outrageously good! I was in Atlanta for a three day on a work trip and ate here twice. Pulling up to the restaurant, I was a little skeptical. It's in what I would call an industrial strip mall. Opening the door...still skeptical. The only place to order is an electronic screen. No cashier. No front desk. Just an open door to the kitchen. I wasn't even sure where to go or what to do. That didn't last long though. I peaked in toward the kitchen and was greeted with a huge smile and a sweet hello. I told her I was here for a pickup and in a few seconds I had my food and was on my way. The crinkle fries were fresh, hot, crunchy and all around perfect. My double burger was a deliciously greasy, dripping, hot mess of satisfaction. I'd change nothing. My second experience was just as pleasant, just as fast, and the fries were just as perfect. Its been on my list so I was happy to be able to finally try it out. I ordered online for pickup. It was a breeze and I love the tone of the words - fun, approachable, different. I did get the fish sandwich this time and not a burger (? I love a fish sandwich....) and the tangy wings. The fish was large enough to fill a hoagie (sub) roll! Fried to perfection.
