    Grilled Salmon

Oh my god. The salmon with the potatoes and vegetables was the best meal I've had in ages. The tiramisu? Again, oh my god. I assume the service is amazing based on the packaging and timeliness of my delivery. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is great, as I can in the other day to deliver a DoorDash order[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], The food smelled so good I decided to try it tonight and I've never been more pleased about a decision! *Editing to add that I brought my husband to eat the salmon tonight and we were both absolutely thrilled with the service from Mary Beth ( please forgive me if I get the name wrong) Excellent service, the meal was just as delicious as it was last night, and I am very glad to have discovered this place !

I'm so thrilled they door dash now! We got a pizza delivered tonight with in 30 minutes and it was delish! Best pizza in the area.

We celebrated our Grandson's Baptism with a luncheon in early December. We met earlier to discuss the menu etc with the cater manager. She also hosted on the day of our party. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. All our guest 25 of them raved about their food. The menu we chose left many options for our guests. I would certainly have any future occasions with them.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Excellent service, food, and atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend. Photos are from 3 separate visits and each time we have gone here it has been exceptional.

Nice location right over the SC line in a small shopping plaza. Outdoor seating with heat lamps but we sat inside. Small bar with 5 seats. Somewhat small parking lot but you won't have a time finding a spot. I ordered lobster ravioli. It was alright. Nothing to get excited about but it was ok. The bread did not come with olive oil -missed opportunity. The waitstaff was very nice and the food came out in less than 10 minutes after I ordered. Really nothing exciting to report here. If you want to sit outside and watch cars drive by this is a good place for that. I will likely go back because it's close by but it will be a long time before I do.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Amazing service - great atmosphere and the menu is incredible.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the tuna on top of risotto, which was absolutely phenomenal. Plan to go back many times in the future.

All time Italian food, top 3 places to eat Italian dishes in Charlotte and surroundings. Amazing taste, good portions, perfect environment and really good wine selection. Highly recommended!

Enjoyed a weeknight dinner here. We wanted something easy close to home and have wanted to try this restaurant. Walked in and was given a great table. Quickly was greeted by our waitress who was super friendly and provided us with water and bread. I had red wine which was great and came with bruschetta. For dinner we shared a pizza and a pasta - pictures included of both. The pizza was amazing perfect crust sauce and cheese. Loved it! The pasta was average - nothing to write home about but also nothing to complain about. Just normal pasta like I make at home. This is a great local Italian restaurant with a beautiful ambiance that is warm and inviting - we will come back. The value for quality is much better than others in the area. Want to try some other items on the menu. Note - beware they charge a credit card fee

Whoever designed this place put a lot of thought into it -- the unique lighting and beautiful wood details created a warm, cozy, and upscale setting. Everything was a ten: the food, the atmosphere, and the service. We all ordered something different, and it was all so top-notch that there were no leftovers. My niece rated the crab cakes a 100 out of 10. A huge shoutout to Gleb -- he is the best. He knows the menu inside and out, gave great recommendations, and went above and beyond. How will I ever be able to eat anywhere else after this spectacular meal? I also have to mention that this place runs like a well-oiled machine. The servers support each other and make sure we never lack for anything.

NOT at the tables that are next to the kitchen traffic and the restrooms. Back room is more quiet and less traffic. Our Server was a very nice young man, Pedro D., who was very attentive and responsive. Wife and I enjoy the grilled artichokes ($18), coming to us as three artichoke halves and an Aioli dipping concoction in a monkey cup. Very yummy, but we talked later and decided that the price was just too high for us to order again. Wife loves the Thai Steak Salad ($29) and it is a substantial portion with a good amount of meat in it. I had a special grilled halibut ($45) which would come with a kale and quinoa salad, but I ordered a side of mashed potatoes ($8) instead. Potatoes went very well with the halibut. The other couple split a filet medallion special of two four-ounce pieces ($51) and a baked potato came along with it and a salad. They always split dinner meals. Our table ended up consuming two bottles of pinot, at 50% discount, ($48). A very nice evening.

Really has the makings of a 5-star restaurant, but there were some off-putting things that got in the way. Menu is excellent. Lots of choices, your place mat is your menu until you order. Our server stuck to his order of march: drinks, appetizers, mains desserts. It was mostly a non-alcohol dinner, so the drinks were an odd mix of soda water and colored drinks with flags. Can't tell you about wine list or other prices. Order taking took awhile and we got through it. My son and I each had the Steak Frites ($39.70). Nice portions. Suggest you order meat cooked to a higher level of doneness as they tend to go light on cooking. I ordered medium and got almost rare. Son ordered medium well and got high medium. Truffle fries were plentiful and a bit too salty with the Kosher salt. A decent dinner. One Maxx Burger ($21.85) inhaled by the 16 year old male. Liked it. One Kid Chicken Tenders ($10.30) with three sides. She liked the mashed potatoes and the chicken. One Chicken Picatta ($25.50), a special. Son paid the bill, I don't have receipt. Wife liked the chicken and the accompanying spaghetti with capers was very good. She took home a portion good for lunch the next day. One Pappardelle Bolognese ($29.35) well enjoyed by granddaughter. One California Chicken Sandwich ($20.70). Daughter-in-law ate half of it. Not a big eater. I did not like the finished meal plates snapped up one at a time. We were talking and it took awhile. Suggest you tell your waiters/bussers to wait until everyone is done, to ask if it is OK to take the plates and get it done. The slow eaters are under the gun to hurry up...and we, after dinner, thought that Burton's wanted diners to move quickly through their meals and clear out for other guests. This was evident when our server, who was not very well-versed, asked for dessert orders. We said no desserts. He left the table for a rather long time and returned, again asking for dessert orders. Obviously he was stymied not having that item accomplished. He left. Again, after quite a pause, we flagged another server down and asked for our bill. So, great menu and decent offerings, but we felt rushed. We all agreed, over ice cream bought at another vendor. Will be back. Burton's has a lot going for it, so will be worth your time, effort and money.

Being from California, we did not think our sushi standards could be topped, but this place completely proved us wrong. Some of our favorites were the salmon belly, the red snapper sampler, the yellowtail, and the slam on hand rolls. Everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. We also loved that they had Echigo beer, which is not easy to find and was a great addition to the meal. One thing that really stood out was how well balanced everything was. Nothing felt overwhelming or heavy, and every dish felt thoughtfully put together. Honestly, you cannot go wrong with any of the rolls here. I could not recommend this place more. An amazing experience from start to finish.

It had a Michelin 2025 sticker on the front door so I thought it would be amazing. I want to say that the service was excellent. Very attentive servers, very professional, very friendly. The service was 5-stars for sure. Next, the food. We started with the miso soup and ginger salad. Miso soup was bland and the ginger dressing on the salad was super bland. We ordered the crispy spicy tuna and the steamed shumai next. The crispy spicy tuna was weird. The first taste bud stimuli was fishy and the last thing you tasted was McDonald's hashbrowns. Also, the chopsticks were very cheap and when you picked up the piece it basically fell apart. The presentation for the steamed shumai was horrible. It was served in a bowl with the chili garlic sauce in a tiny bowl on the side. The pieces were wayyy too big to pick up with the chopsticks and for the mouth. But if you managed to get the thing in your mouth, it was super hot and basically burned your mouth. Like there was no option to take a bite it was either shove the whole thing in your mouth or not eat it at all. The rolls we ordered were the Mr Crabby, which was the only good thing we ordered. The Naruto, which had too many layers of cucumber wrapped around it and the pieces were mini. The villain, a $25 roll with caviar on top, but the caviar was so sparse, it could barely be seen with the naked eye. Rainbow roll was ok but again, the pieces were tiny. Every roll was flavorless and the price point was stupid. $122 plus tip for a bland lunch was retarded. Super disappointed.
