George and his associates have gone above and beyond and we have thoroughly enjoyed having them here. They've replaced all of the floors and baseboards with a combination of tile planks and talavera tiles. All rooms have been painted with new doors and trim. Several doors that were never installed correctly were re-installed and repainted. Walls and backsplashes were tiled with incredible artistry. New ceiling lights were installed and old lights were trouble-shooted. Genuine, honest and trustworthy, George and his crew have been truly courteous and friendly workers to have in our home. We are repeat customers. Many years ago Georgino Stone & Tile fabricated soapstone and granite countertops for us when we remodeled our kitchen and baths. I was anxious to get my counter tops measured, and had not received a call, so I called them. The person that answered seemed irritated that I called. She said she had called me three times already and left messages, said she had 8 (she counted them off) people ahead of me, but since I was on the phone now, she would schedule me. I verified that she had correct contact information, as I had received no calls or messages. This seemed very strange, but I was happy to get going on this project. She told me I would get a call the day before to narrow the arrival window. Again, I had to call them, and I again verified they had correct contact info. The next day I'm waiting at the vacant house and waiting...waited several hours after my time window before I called, because I didn't want to seem inpatient. To my shock, the girl said that after she had given me the arrival window yesterday, I had immediately called her back saying that time no longer worked for me, and I had rescheduled for two weeks later. I said that did NOT happen, you must have me confused with someone else, as I am out of town for surgery on the day you claim I rescheduled for! She said it absolutely did happen, and that was their first available appointment. I told her I'm not available, I will be out of town for two weeks. She looked at her calendar again, and came up with and earlier date?! Not at all feeling confident that this new measuring date would happen, I asked to talk to her supervisor. The supervisor had just left, so I got her email. I immediately sent an email with the whole crazy story of the employees claims regarding phone calls that never happened. I attached screen shots of my phone's call log, from the start of this fiasco, proving that her employee had never initiated calls to me, and that I did NOT immediately call back and reschedule. Supervisor immediately emailed back, saying yes, I really was on the schedule, and she "would talk to the scheduling girls". I thought about it over the weekend and decided that the supervisors response was inadequate, and this was not a company that I wanted to do business with. I cancelled the appointment, and I went to a local company Granite Planet. They had a similar product and business cards for fabricators. My counters were measured that same day-Monday, and the install was finished mid day on Wednesday! And, it cost me 1/3 of the amount Lowe's had quoted (product and install!). That's why I gave them two stars. Thanks to this companies crazy behavior I ended up getting a much better deal elsewhere.

The result was standing water on the floor. The only way to deal with this problem was to squeegee and dry the entire shower every time it was used.
