I was taking a leisurely drive in the morning and I just happened to see the sign "DONUTS" in a little Plaza offbeat of hwy 247. I love donuts and I needed to wash down my coffee with something. I decided, why the hell not. I walked in and I was surprised there was no line at this time in the morning. (it was about 7:30) I got up to the counter and was greeted by this adorable, sweet oriental lady who seemed eager to take my order. I actually thought they had a very nice selection for the size of the place. Pretty much anything for every donut fanatic. What really blew me away was the price. They are crazy reasonable! Hands down the best chocolate frosted old-fashioned I have ever had in my life! Go get them, eat them, unless I am in town and then they are all mine! My brother, doesn't love donuts, and I, the one who has a donut obsession, stopped in for a box. I stopped by here on my way from Loveland to a wedding in Estes. I was hungry and it was open. I am so glad I stopped in. I started by ordering a breakfast sandwich and ended up leaving with a dozen for the wedding party. I had the ham, egg and cheese on a croissant, and it hit the spot just right. It was a good amount of sandwich for a reasonable price. The donuts were Krispy Creme soft, but made with much more love. The boxes are awesome and say "You deserve a donut," which was a hit. A new donut shop pops up in my area and I definitely have to try it. This place has a huge selections of donuts. Maple frosted blueberry, chocolate cake chocolate glazed with chocolate chips, apple fritters, crumble cake, sour cream old fashioned, you name it, they have it. Its a little place is tiny inside with very little seating and very few parking spaces outside. The prices are very reasonable so if you are in the area, give it a try. My boyfriend rates their chocolate glazed raised as the second best donuts in Denver. We will be back to try the other donuts because there are just so many! read more

This unassuming little donut shop in a tiny plaza off of 285 is a decent bang for your buck. It may not look like much on the outside - or inside - but boy, oh boy, do their donuts deliver in the taste department. I had a hankering one day so went in to give 'em a try. I was extremely gluttonous and got a standard glazed and a regular old fashioned. The type of donut I was really after was a chocolate old fashioned, but the didn't have any - just glazed old fashioned and choc iced old fashioned (totally different from the one I wanted.) The donuts were delish. Service was super friendly and quick. The selection was ok. The environment/decor/ambiance left something to be desired... it didn't entice me to stay to relax while I ate, but rather grab and go like I did this trip. read more

I went on a Sunday at 10:30 and only 1/3 of the display case had donuts. I decided to sample four - chocolate cake, glazed, sprinkle, and another chocolate. They were soft on the inside and slight crunch on the outside - which tasted good to me! They flavors were good as well. The glazed donut was delightfully fluffy with the perfect amount of glaze. The chocolate iced with candy bits was fun and delicious. They don't skimp on the toppings at all. The customer service was also incredible. There was only one woman working when there were quite a few people in the shop, but no one had to wait more than a minute or two. Disclaimer - I came here, because I heard it was as good as Krispy Kreme in terms of the glazed donuts. I figured if I found a good KK replacement, I wouldn't have to lug it to Thornton. They weren't really close to the KK donuts I love. They had tons of other good looking stuff, I only had glazed, and a strawberry stuffed thing. Usually this is the place that I look forward to bringing my kids to enjoy a snack. The owner is lovely! The atmosphere is usually wonderful! Today however, the young girl working "Joey" as she identified herself, was beyond rude!
