I came here with friends for a late dinner on Friday around 9pm. We were seated at a long half booth in the back by the window. It's a cozy spot with nice decor. We enjoyed an assortment of small plates, drinks and desserts. Started with a couple old fashioned, martinis and margaritas and for our plates, we had charcuterie, olives/almonds, calamari, oysters, fried peppers and chicken and chorizo. The plates were perfect for sharing so we all got to try a bit of everything. For dessert, we shared a chocolate lava cake and some Nutella churros with dipping chocolate. Our server was friendly and attentive with refills and checking in on us. My favorite was probably the peppers, chicken and both desserts. Although I enjoyed everything, I unfortunately ended up regurgitating most of it the next day. I think I got food poisoning but I'm not sure if it was from this or something else because none of my friends experienced any symptoms.

Flank with raspberry. Excellent way to end meal.

Very good food, and Excellent service. A really cozy space. Me and my companion had the specials. All were really good, especially the flat bread with the quall egg. Also for the quality of the food the prices were very good. I will definitely go back to this restaurant again.

We came here with a group from work while visiting Denver from different states and we were very pleased with the tapas selection and the ambiance. The booths are phenomenal because they're high so it gives you a sense of privacy. The tapas tasted mostly great and the desserts were just amazing! We had the chocolava & the churros con chocolate and they were both great! The staff were also all very friendly

I really don't know what took me so long to make it here, but I finally made it in! Other than realizing how much Spanish I do not speak, I fully enjoyed the experience. Our server was super nice and helpful with making decisions on what to order. I am not a huge shrimp fan, however their shrimp and garlic dish was amazing.

This has been hands-down, my favorite happy hour ever! We walk in, and it is PACKED! While I was happy to wait for a table to clear up, we were seated immediately. I could tell, with his high energy and vision to make it work, he was the manager and made the experience much better than I could have anticipated. While I could not understant a lot of what the menu offered, my taste buds and brain understood that it was some of the best food I have ever had. Not to mention, the seasonal sangria (strawberry mint) was thirst-quenching and overall fantastic. Was never a huge sangria fan until now! Apps we tried: Patatas Bravas (highly recommend for potato lovers - so good we ordered another plate) and Pintxos Morunos (pork skewers on romesco toast - a must try).

I liked every bite but the Wild mushroom croquette was my favorite. Service was GREAT! I feel like there was not a single waiting moment. The dishes came out pretty quick.

I really can't say enough great things about this unique establishment. Their fanfare presentation is truly out of this world though - not to mention their friendly and very accommodating service!

Had dinner last night and enjoyed six different things. Favorite would be the croquettes- just the perfect bite. Everything was really good but if I had to pick a least favorite it would probably be the omelette- not that it was bad - just really enjoy them at breakfast not dinner I guess. The meat was a little undercooked but still delicious and the potatoes were delicious! Restaurant was lively on a Friday night and service was attentive but not obtrusive. Would definitely return!

Amazing meal!!! Unbelievably attentive, great drinks, nice staff and fun vibe! I had a group of 12 and spoke with Brian the head chef and owner. He was amazing! He built custom menu for us at a very reasonable price. We were amazed at how much food was part of the tasting menu! Since Brian built the menu it was such an awesome surprise as well. Started with charcuterie, had amazing shishito peppers, a beet salad, the bread con tomato's, pasta braves, a shrimp dish, crab cake croquettes, mini mushroom bites that were to die for, each beef, chicken dish and paella. We had the special sangria. Strawberry infused. Was amazing!!!! Sorry no pics. I drank it to fast! Do NOT hesitate! Try this amazing restaurant. It's my favorite that I have been to in the past few months!!! And that is saying a lot since we try new restaurants weekly.

Food was 10/10 and so was service! Flavors of every thing we ordered were on point and better than the food we had on our trip to Spain. Will def be back!

Impressive little tapas restaurant off of Lincoln with equally excellent service. Haven't experienced something like this in awhile at this level. Upon walking in the restaurant is lit but dim while the sun provides excellent lighting for company and all the dishes that come out. The general vibe is upbeat, laid back and super positive. Staff knows each dish and all the specials. Moving on to the food. There is nothing bad on the menu and all the dishes offer their unique flavors. Let the waitstaff explain it all. All I know is one of the cheese plates we ordered was spectacular followed by chicken thighs and even the pizza! I would return with certainty. Being a patron of another old 9th Door location off of Market St, I found out both locations had different owners, dishes, etc. That particular location did not last for more than 6 months and this place is still flourishing so that says something. Go enjoy the pics I posted and let your mouth water a bit. Better yet just go check it out!

Snacks, charcuterie boards, sandwiches, salads many shareable items. The experience is all weighing on the service and that is what was lacking on my visit. The waiter showed me which side of the menu was white wine and which was red. I ordered white wine, ended up being served a glass of red. I didn't complain, just decided to be a good sport. I ordered a panini which was much smaller than the waiter described and it was cold. I ordered a full salad, he brought a half salad. Water was only served after being requested halfway through the meal, as he never came over to check on us once the order was placed. I did try repeatedly to capture his attention but I suppose we were invisible? Normally, I am a 5 star girl but this dinner was a total disaster anything that could go wrong did go wrong. One of the worst dining experiences I have had in yrs. I might give the restaurant another try as it was highly recommended to me but never on a weekend. Parking was also very difficult with limited street parking.

Shout to the team for having our table ready when we got there even though it was very busy that day. We started off with the Fall Salad and I think it was one of my favorite things we ordered. I had no idea beets can be that delicious! After that, everything else came out: roasted carrots, barramundi, and wagyu flank steak. They also put in an order or pommes frites (French fries) on accident and decided to give it to us on the house. Thanks! The roasted carrots were really good and sweet. You could tell they were quality carrots. The barramundi was another one of my favorites. I'm a fan of fish and they did an excellent job of cooking the barramundi with a great sauce(?) that tasted great with it. I found the wagyu steak flank overcooked and really salty which was disappointing given the price. The pommes frites were cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall, I would recommend Sunday Vinyl if you are trying to take someone to a place that is unique and don't mind paying a bit extra. It is a bit loud in there (we had to raise our voices a bit to hold a conversation) but it is also a vinyl place so you would expect them to show off their music.

And from that point on, from first taste, I knew my experience would be exceptional. The service was attentive without being overly attentive, and the chef's were so kind, answering every one of my weird questions about what they were preparing or ingredients that I noticed. I ordered the smoked burrata to start. The balance between the candied pistachio, artichoke pesto, and wagyu cecina really created a well balanced and unexpected dish. The burrata was creamy and the salty and sweet components balanced the aged sherry gastrique and made for an incredible intro to a beautiful performance by the chefs. Next was another small dish, which I wish I remembered the description for (I need to bring a little notebook with me), but it was a perfect segue into the next course, the ibérico presa. Wow. Just wow. White asparagus has got to be one of my favorite vegetables next to artichokes, when done exceptionally well, as they most definitely were. The piquillo peppers and pickled shallots complemented the pork, which was so soft, perfectly. I definitely died and went to heaven at this point in the meal. This is probably when I should've stopped eating because after this point, still pure delight, but my poor stomach was soooooo full. Next was another small bite to lead into my next course, also incredible. Wish I could describe it. My next course was the European sea bass. Now, sea bass is my favorite fish of all time. The perfectly crisp skin, the red onion jam, the spicy sweet balance was perfection. I loved every bite. The olive oil potatoes were a perfect complement. And at this point, I was bursting at the seems... but I still ordered dessert, because you only live once and food is one of the great joys of life. For dessert, I had the crema. The honeycomb on top, the cherries, all leading to a perfect finish. A time was had. Thanks El Five

Every restaurant review eventually collapses into one word…read more Yum. We can debate technique, texture, acidity, balance, and presentation, but every review ultimately comes down to one question: Did it make you say, "Yum"? Mescaleria Alma made me say it over and over again. I've been here several times. A recent visit wasn't just my best meal here, it was one of the best dining experiences I've had anywhere. The first thing that captures your attention is the room. A stunning wall of spirits rises behind the bar and seamlessly blends into the open kitchen, creating one continuous stage. Watching the team work is mesmerizing. Tiny containers of herbs, sauces, oils, citrus, garnishes, and countless other components come together with quiet precision. It reminds me of watching a great sushi counter. Alone, they're just ingredients. Together, they become something far greater than the sum of their parts. The hospitality begins the moment you walk in. Dominique, the general manager, welcomed me back, remembered me from previous visits, and made me feel genuinely happy that I had returned. That's increasingly rare. I always sit at the bar because that's where a restaurant makes me feel comfortable. When I first sat down, the bartender was busy and focused. Over the course of the evening, cocktails became conversations. We talked about flavors, restaurants, and what makes a memorable dining experience. By the end of the night he slid over a bartender's choice, a Corn Sour, not because I ordered it, but because he thought I'd enjoy it. He was right. That's the difference between service and hospitality. Then there was the food and the taste of the cocktails. The kitchen and bar were firing. The Clover Club cocktail was beautifully balanced and wonderfully complex. The Mollete de Mejillones with smoked mussels, scallop aioli, morita hot sauce, and fresh lemon was extraordinary. Then came the Burrata con Huitlacoche. Let's not overthink this. The tomatillo salsa verde was orgasmic. Bright. Fresh. Acidic. Alive. It elevated every bite. The Pescadilla de Marlín finished with smoky tuna, molten cheese, crisp tortilla, and a beautiful salsa that tied everything together. I've stopped trying to decide whether I like Mescaleria Alma, Alma Fonda Fina, or Alteño more. It's becoming the wrong question. Chef Curiel and his team have created restaurants with different personalities but the same DNA: creativity, precision, warmth, and genuine hospitality. As someone who has spent a career helping organizations perform better, I couldn't help but admire what they've built. One exceptional restaurant is difficult. Building several at this level is organizational excellence. Walking back to my car, I thought one thing: I'm lucky. Lucky that people devote this much imagination, discipline, and care to feeding complete strangers. Some people see a bill. I saw craftsmanship. Every penny was worth it. Thank you, Chef Curiel, Dominique, the bar team, the kitchen, and everyone at Mescaleria Alma. You reminded me that excellence still exists. And tonight... it tasted like "yum."

Made a reservation for 9 pm but got into town around 3:30 and they made sure to get me a table right away which was so kind of them and something they did NOT have to do. Kelsey was my server and she was so beautiful both inside and out. Very warm, welcoming and gave me great recommendations that were both personal for her but also worked with me when I wasn't sure about what to get after she recommended a few things. The food....was...SENSATIONAL. The Tostada De Toro I think every person needs to try once in their life. I feel like for whatever reason Mexican seafood is still underrated to the average person as I mentioned to Kelsey. They told me I could eat it open face or use a fork and knife so I tried it both ways starting with the first couple of bites open face. To be honest you could eat this upside down in a blizzard and it would be great, it was that damn good! The people sitting next to me giggled because I looked like I was having a foodgasm from my reaction to every bite. Then the Aguachile De Erizo had me licking my lips and then eventually drinking the "broth" (hope that's the right term) to the last drop with Kelsey's full approval hahahaha. I had never tried Uni before and what a great introduction it was. I kept finding pieces of scallops and uni in my mouth after and it was such a pleasant surprise. The Non-Alcoholic Colada I actually had first and it made be feel like I was on a beach somewhere. Delicious! The only downside to the meal was that I had to walk through the city after I left so I couldn't keep eating more which I really wanted to. But that's a blessing in disguise because I'm so excited to come back and try even more dishes that I didn't get to and I immediately recommended it to friends who live in Denver but were out of town and couldn't join me when I was there. Again cannot say enough about the service and the atmosphere which was so sexy. It felt both relaxed and accessible while still feeling upscale. (I mean I walked in with a backpack and a sleeveless shirt and didn't feel out of place or too dressed down at all. And if I was the staff didn't make me feel this whatsoever). Finally one more shoutout to the entire team for making it a great experience and make sure to ask for Kelsey as your server she's one in a million! PS my forgetful self forgot my wallet at the table and Kelsey came running out to bring it to me with a laugh and a smile. So somehow even after my meal they were still finding a way to be the best!

I pulled up Cask and Craft's website and was super happy to see the list of precautions they are taking to keep their customers safe. Some of these precautions include only 2 people in the shop at a time, use provided hand sanitizer when you enter, and even curbside pick up/delivery. Since I was sitting in front of the store, I figured I'd just go in, get what I needed, and quickly head home. I was greeted and asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering - yes, thank you. I had the choice of 6 packs, 4 packs, or mix and match. This was perfect for me because I needed 5 beers. I ended up selecting Jackie O's Java the Stout.
