Located on the rooftop of the Source, this is an excellent spot with a beautiful view! Decor and vibes were awesome. drinks were great, and food was good. On the higher end of price, but overall it was a great experience. I started with a hibiscus marg that was so balanced and delicious. One of the better margs I've had in Denver! My friend got a sangria and love it. Another got a pisco sour & was very happy. The guac was delicious - chips were perfect & it had lots of yummy things in it Peruvian ceviche - tasty with hints of spice Beef anticuchos - amazing. The potatoes and corn on the plate were so good Pork belly anticuchos- even better than the beef!!! My favorite Empanadas- incredible! Food? Amazing. Honestly every dish was great, and I really enjoyed each bite. Left the restaurant feeling like a beached whale, because I just had to have each bite. It really was so delicious. Standouts: Ceviche - loved the sweet potato in it, and the flavor was there with every bite. Smashed avocado - COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T CARE FOR AVOCADO.....delicious. Great spices, pomegranate seeds (stealing that idea), salty chips, perfect starter. Did not care for either of the drinks I had (white wine and a red sangria), however looking around the cocktails really seemed to shine. I probably would have fared better with those. Unfortunately, I felt like the service was lacking. The hostess wasn't super accommodating, we had to repeat ourselves a lot with ordering, and the staff felt a little too laissez faire for the price point of the restaurant. Lots of chatting amongst themselves and facial expressions that just felt unprofessional around customers. I debated between 3 and 4 stars, and honestly while eating I thought for sure 4 stars (it really was so good), but as I thought about it I likely wouldn't return because of the general vibe we got while there. Just wow! Knowing the prices coming in, I figured this place would be good. But THAT good?! We were blown away. Every single ingredient was so fresh and delicious there was no going wrong and we made our way around most of the small plates menu. Definitely start with the crushed avocado it literally has 20 ingredients and when you mix them all together it's like magic. read more

In town for the weekend and ate here, as the people I was with had a credit to spend there since the hotel (the source hotel) that it is located in was terrible, they gave them credit towards Cimera, Temaki and Safta. They chose to use it at Cimera since they had a ribeye. We had a 9pm reservation and went on a Sunday. When we came in there was an unpleasant smell since the entire hotel smelled like sewer (part of the reason of the credit). The smell wasn't as pungent as the rest of the hotel and I didn't really smell it anymore once seated at my table in the back near the patio. Our server was initially friendly (James/john one or the other) and then it was like a switch flipped and he wasn't as pleasant as his initial greeting. He seemed annoyed and ready to go home. Anyways, I enjoyed the ambiance a lot, it's really nice and a lovely spot for dinner or drinks. They have rooftop seating which I'm sure it's nice to sit out when it's nice out. The food was AMAZING! Our girls night dinner at Cimera was above average - the staff was incredibly knowledgeable about food allergies and even brought me a menu with notes on it detailing what I could/could not have and how to modify each dish. I have very complicated food issues and it was so reassuring to know that I was going to be taken care of. Our server Charlie and her boss Joe were incredibly attentive, going above and beyond to make sure our experience was incredible. The food was delicious. I'd love to share more photos with you but the truth is, we devoured it and I completely forgot to get pictures. We had the smashed avocado, croquettes, empanadas, ceviche, mushroom tacos and carrots. We will definitely be back. We're planning another - bigger - girls night here in September. read more

We sat inside but if I had it to do over again, I'd want to sit outside for the view. My only complaint about this location is I wish they had valet. The parking situation is a small lot and a garage, but it would feel more elevated if a valet service was offered (although this seems overall rare in Denver). Oh my god. This place is one of my absolute favorite. We went for Denver restaurant week so we got to try a little bit of everything, and I'm so glad we did. The Peruvian ceviche was easily my favorite. The white fish with lime was so fresh. It also had different textures and flavors that made it easily the best. One of the surprises for me was the Pork Belly Anticucho. I don't love pork but it was amazing. Melt in your mouth. If you're thinking of the carne asada for the main meal, you should. We came during HH to experience Cimera. We were told that we had to sit at the bar for HH, but then a couple walked in behind us about 10 minutes later and were seated at a table. Not sure what that was about, but they should allow HH customers to sit at a table, especially since the bar is so high and the stools are difficult for short people to sit on. At least two people were working behind the bar the whole time we were there, and they were pretty attentive. We ordered margaritas, the guacamole appetizer, and the pork belly skewer to start. The Pork Belly skewer was amazing. If I were hungrier, I would have ordered more. We follow up with the ceviche, which was flavorful and interesting in both the texture combinations and flavor profile. On the top floor of the Source Hotel, you will find Cimera, a newer rooftop bar and eatery in the RiNo area. Luckily, the weather was phenomenal for our visit this past Sunday and the view and temperature was perfect. The plant/tree decor is very prominent at Cimera as it lines the walkway from the restrooms, pool, elevator, to the host stand. The cocktails were creative. I had the Prickly Pear Margarita (comes frozen only) and it was quite tasty. I look forward to trying some nibbles the next time we head back to this area. Our server was so kind and friendly and checked on us quite frequently. The service and her kindness added to the wonderful Sunday afternoon on the rooftop in Denver. A great time! Came here with a few friends for dinner on a Friday night and started with a few drinks. Our server was very sweet and gave us a rundown of their popular items. We started with a round of drinks, which was actually really good and called for the ceviche, pork belly skewers and-beef skewers along with the al pastor tacos and some potatoes. I wished the pork belly was sliced a bit thinner so it could be softer. The tacos were good. For mains, my friend got the squash and the portions were as good as an appetiser. $30+ for a squash appetiser was ridiculous honestly! The salt noodles were good but then again $40+ for that did not seem worth it at all! The mains really disappointed us. Overall, I would probably come here for drinks and apps. The views are really good and I am willing to come back just for the views sometime during summer. Parking is paid as this place is located on the rooftop of the Source. read more

Very disappointing experience. We waited over an hour and a half for our food even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The meals came out at completely different times, so our family couldn't even eat together. They didn't even bring plates to the table for us to eat. The food also didn't taste fresh and seemed reheated. We asked to speak with the manager and waited another 20 minutes, but no one came. When we finally tried to address the situation, the staff member who spoke with us was extremely rude and unprofessional. The service was horrible from beginning to end. We had a legitimate reason to complain, and instead of handling it professionally, we were treated poorly. Very frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this place. read more

I have only visited Cimera for drinks so cannot comment on the quality of their service or food. I love taking customers or friends here because although prices are mid to high for most drinks, the views make up for that. It is very nice to be able to head up to the rooftop, grab a beer, and have a conversation while enjoying the sunset and mountain views (see pictures). I have only stopped by during weekdays so cannot speak for the weekends but when I've visited, I haven't had to wait to get a table or anything. Cheers! read more

I always find The Source a little confusing on which restaurants are where since they have a couple of different buildings. This is in the hotel building. You also have to pay for parking there. It's a beautiful restaurant with great views if you step outside onto the balcony. They have some interesting cocktails like a Horchata cooler. We just ordered a couple small plates like the empanadas, tacos, and esquites which were all good. The server was able to divide up our check amongst the two of us, but she got it wrong, so my friend ended up paying for one of my dishes. read more

Cimera has a beautiful space with a thoughtful and interesting menu. I appreciated that Cimera was explicit in celebrating where the inspiration came from (region/country) for each dish. We enjoyed the skewers, ribeye, fish, doughnuts, cocktails, tacos, absolutely everything. I didn't notice the music as other guests noted and we had great service on a quiet weeknight. We stopped by Cimera for pre-dinner drinks, mainly to check out the rooftop, and it did not disappoint. Even though we came just for cocktails, it was *very* hard to resist ordering food after seeing plate after plate come out looking incredible. We grabbed seats at the bar, where the bartenders were not only quick and attentive but also great at offering recommendations. We ended up ordering the Chicha Morada Pisco Sour and the horchata cooler--both were perfectly balanced, strong yet smooth, and honestly a little too easy to drink because we finished them in no time. The real star, though, is the view. Absolutely unmatched--especially around sunset, when the whole atmosphere levels up. They've also got outdoor seating with fire pits, which makes it cozy enough to enjoy the rooftop even when it's chilly. Whether you're stopping in for a full meal or just a drink, Cimera is 100% worth the visit. Even a quick stop here feels like an experience. read more

I've been wanting to try this place since it was The woods and saw the menu online. It looked good so we went on Saturday at 1:30pm. When we got there we were just given a brunch menu of 5 items on it the breakfast tacos, granola, tacu tacu plate, chilaquiles and some stuffed potato Thing. It got the Tacu tacu because it sounded interesting and my guest got the breakfast tacos. They had no kid items, no plastic utensils (for smaller utensil for a kid) at first we got just water in a heavy mug type for my 5 yr old son. The manager noticed and asked if we wanted a kids cup and we said yes. When I checked the menu it said they had tacos and salads and tortas for lunch served daily but when I inquired they said not on weekends. I wish they had it clearly on the site because I drove all the way from Parker for lunch. At any rate the Tacu Tacu was ok it was odd like a mushy rice and some chorizo patties to egg and a grilled plantain. The tacos my guest got was egg, some crusty bacon crushed up on top and side of pico de gallo, very basic. I wouldn't recommend the breakfast I wish for brunch they'd add maybe just a few taco options like on lunch. The place is very nice being on 8th floor of the source hotel. Maybe I'll find my way during the week in Rino for lunch and can try. read more

Super nice rooftop views but the ambiance was slightly underwhelming.when you walk in, you think youre gonna get a cool michelin experience, the interior is very pretty and you're on a rooftop. Unfortunately the music was blasting 70s-80s music, I presume for happy hour vibes, but it really did not match what we expected for our dining experience. Not to mention, it must gave been a Playlist from a phone as it would intermittently have static like if someone was walking too far from the receiver/speaker. The apps were good, the skewers were tender. The steak tartar was delicious and actuslly pretty filling for 2 people. The octopus was also very good! The chicken plate was a large portion, definitely shareable but very salty. Honestly my favorite part of the meal was the salad accompaning the chicken dish and the fries. Cimera is the newer rooftop dining/bar on the 8th floor of The Source Hotel. We were treated to some lovely views on an unusually warm November afternoon. Having already eaten at another restaurant in the hotel, we did not partake in the Pan-Latin cuisine, but did enjoy some of their cocktails. Cimera offers specialty cocktails, sangria, frozen, N/A, wine, and beer--plenty of options to suit a group's needs. I chose the Oaxacan Old Fashioned, a blend of Mezcal, reposado tequila, agave, and bitters. It was perfect for sipping and enjoying the view. Our server was attentive and checked in frequently. It wasn't too busy, so it was a nice change from some of the more crowded rooftop venues. read more

My bf and I were visiting Denver for a few days and decided to check out the Source Hotel, which was walking distance from our hotel! We checked this place out, which recently opened and it was beautiful from the decor to the amazing views! Unfortunately, it was too windy to sit outside, but the views are stunning. Service was fantastic and were both the cocktails and food. Food/drink review: Sparkling rose: (5/5) Yumm! Delicious. Yerba mate cocktail: (5/5) I'm not a mezcal fan, but this cocktail was very well balanced and refreshing! My bf ended up ordering 2 of them! Crushed mash: (5/5) WOW. There were so many amazing flavors in this dish including pomegranate and bacon, like what?!? We devoured this with the delicious, thick tortilla chips that come on the side. $17 for this dish, but honestly worth it. Pork belly: (5/5) Melt in your mouth pork belly and they were bursting with flavor. I just wish it came with more because it was so good! $13 for two small skewers. Papa rellena: (3/5) This wasn't my favorite. I was expecting it to be juicier and bursting with flavor, but it was lacking a bit. It was too much breading not enough meat. While the ambiance and drinks were on point, everything else was quite a letdown. Our steak came cooked Medium despite our order for rare plus. We let our server know and she said very little but took the plate. Forty minutes later she brought out a new steak. Nobody checked in on us during this long stretch to see how we were or see that we needed a second drink. Much to our disappointment the new steak was still over cooked but being hungry and not willing to wait another 40 minutes we went ahead and ate. At no point did a manager come to see that our new steak was satisfactory or apologize that it was overcooked. In addition, we were celebrating a birthday and there was never the slightest acknowledgement of our celebration. The setting is so great, we would have been so happy to put your establishment into our restaurant rotation; sadly, we won't be back. read more

Our waitress, while nice, seemed like it was her first day on the job. She didn't know which dishes had certain forms of dairy that we don't eat, she was never there when we needed her, like for a drink refill or to give us clean dishes, but she would show up right as the food arrived and ask how it was, before we had a chance to take a bit, then she would clear dishes before we were done. The food: The Taradino was fine, but nothing special. The empanada was freshly baked, but it was so dry, and it came with aioli, which didn't pair well. The tacos: the mushroom ones were the best dish of the night. The steak ones were OK, but again, nothing special. Given our experience, I don't think I would take a chance on the mains; I would likely not be impressed. The place was also dead by 9 pm, which is disappointing for the neighborhood and being a rooftop restaurant and bar at a hip hotel. read more

Server was nice, and I think they were understaffed, but oh my gosh we were there for two hours, despite ordering all at once. We were waiting an eternity for every step of ordering, got wrong dishes, wrong drinks etc. Like, we would ask for something and then it'd be another twenty minutes until you'd see her again.
