We were really excited to try this restaurant because of its exceptional reviews, but unfortunately the evening turned into a bit of an unfortunate series of events. To start, we were seated at a table with what I can only describe as a Brandy Melville-esque brick pole right in the middle of the seating area. Because of the way the couches were arranged, we had to basically hop over the edge of the couch to get into our seats. At first the couch seemed cozy and novel, but as the night went on my back started hurting, it was hard to hear people across the table, and the whole setup just felt awkward. Also... that pole situation truly felt like a fire hazard. When we ordered, our server kindly warned us that the kitchen was running behind and that food might take a bit longer. Totally understandable as it was busy and they seemed a little understaffed. In the end, our food took about an hour from ordering, including appetizers. I tried some of my friend's "Beef Balls!" (yes, the exclamation point is part of the menu name) and they were... interesting. Pretty salty, pretty tangy, essentially just some balls on a stick. Another friend mentioned their Diet Coke was flat, and oddly none of our limes had any juice in them. Truly impressive citrus drought. So we were off to a bit of a rocky start. For our mains we ordered fried rice, pad see ew, pad thai, and pad soo wen. What impressed me most was how all four dishes somehow lacked any personality whatsoever. The fried rice was mushy and clumpy, almost stuck together, and surprisingly bland. Some of the vegetables also tasted a little bitter. The pad see ew was fine... but again, very little flavor. I started with the pad woo sen, which came out extremely spicy but still somehow flavorless. My mouth was just burning. Now, I will admit I'm an average white woman with somewhat sensitive taste buds, but I didn't realize this dish was meant to be spicy and I wasn't asked about spice level either. I mentioned the dish to who I believe was the manager, and he was actually incredibly kind and apologetic. He immediately grabbed me a menu so I could try something else. I switched to the pad thai. Unfortunately... the pad thai also had very little flavor. At this point I genuinely wondered if I had COVID and had lost my sense of taste. The manager came back and was very persistent about making things right (which I appreciated, though I started to feel a little bad sending things back). Third time's the charm, right? He suggested the garlic fried rice with a fried egg. I wish I could say that solved things. The egg arrived quite burnt (see photo), and the rice was again clumpy and bland. At one point my friend summed up the experience perfectly: "I'm just eating this because it's in front of me." Overall, the staff was kind and clearly trying their best, which I genuinely appreciated. But for the price point of this restaurant, the food really should be much better than average and unfortunately that just wasn't our experience. read more

The fastest I've ever been influenced was by an inflatable chef standing outside this place, personally inviting me in. Den Thai Tapas & Wine just opened in LoDo, and they describe themselves as "fun dining," which honestly feels accurate. The vibe is relaxed and loungey with fun music, a solid cocktail menu, and genuinely attentive service that makes you want to hang out longer. We tried a handful of dishes and the food was good!The larb chicken was bright and flavorful with just the right amount of heat and acidity. The crispy duck panang was rich and comforting, with perfectly cooked duck and a great sauce. The crying tiger steak was cooked perfectly and paired really well with the tamarind fish sauce. The pad z ew was also a standout with well cooked noodles and great balance. We also tried the chicken satay, the tamarind shrimp, the pork belly app, and the tom yum soup. This is a great spot if you're looking for something lively but still food focused. I went in curious and left happy. read more

Cute spot for Thai food and cocktails. Came here on a weeknight with no reservation and our group of 4 was able to get seated immediately. Indoor dining available. I ordered the coconut soup with tofu and ordered "Hot" level of spicy, and it was SPICY. I underestimated the level of spice and for that, my mouth was on fire and so I ordered a Thai iced tea to cool it down. You're able to customize the level so I would say that a medium would've been good for me. Our waiter was very friendly and we weren't rushed. We enjoyed tapas and dinner! We had thw red curry, pad thai noodles, pot stickers and wings. The food came out so fast and fresh! The service was excellent, multiple people checked in on us. The restaurant is big and the decor is cute, but I recommend a reservation. Plenty of street parking is available. read more

I am so glad I picked this place to come celebrate my ME day (2-12-26)! This place has been opened for about 2 months. Don't let the blow up welcome guy fool you by their door! Lol This place is a great addition to Denver and the fine dining scene. The ambiance of this place is classy and intimate. The staff are warm and friendly. Our waitress Wanisa was great. I had a pleasure to meet and chat with one of the owners Don. Through talking with Don and Wanisa, I got to know the story of how this restaurant came about. There is a sense of humor about this place and menus, which I like and also fits their motto of fine dining and fun. I love the furniture selection here too. We had to have the blue balls mocktail which were great and the color so beautiful. We tried the beef balls, tamarind shrimp, shishito peppers, and pot stickers from their golden hour menu. We enjoyed them all. Nothing was oily, soggy, or cold. We ordered the pad z ew tofu, eggplant panang, and crab meat fried rice for our entrees. The entrees were all delicious. The tofu was cooked crispy in the pad z ew and the dish had a great flavor. The crab meat fried rice is definitely meaty and savory. Really good crab meat fried rice I've had in a long while. The eggplant panang was just as delicious as any curry I've had too. I love the flavor and aroma of this curry dish. I definitely recommend for Vegans! Mmmmm, the honey toast we had for dessert and which was recommended was great. We pretty much finished that! All the dishes were hot, distinct in flavor, beautiful presentation, prepared with care, and authentic. I would highly recommend this place! I have a gluten sensitivity and I found so many food items I could eat here. The Larb Chicken, Shrimp Satay, and Crab Meat Fried Rice were all incredible! The manager and our server were super kind and we had some really nice conversations with them! The restaurant was very modern and cozy-- a great place for a date. tonight, 5-STARS!! Tonight I ordered the same Pad Thai with Pork. This time I asked for Hot spice instead of Medium and added Vegetables for another $4. THE PAD THAI WAS DELICIOUS! I'm very happy that I gave them another shot. There was an excellent amount of pork, it will cut properly to bite size instead of giant size that needs to be cut. The flavor and moisture of the dish was fantastic. The spice was spot on for what I might have called a Med-Hot spicy, but excellent. The vegetables were also good but wish I had received a little more for the $4. Ehh, inflation I guess. All in All, this visit was wonderful, I am VERY HAPPY to have an excellent Thai place in the neighborhood in a sea of mediocre. Disappointing meal. The pad woon sen with beef was completely flavorless. I selected the medium spice level which was the middle of 5 offered spice levels, but I think they forgot to add any spice at all. This dish resurfaced the memory of when I had COVID and couldn't taste anything. The shishito peppers were pretty tasty though (good spice but a bit heavy on the garlic). Given this restaurant up-charges prices on almost every dish vs its nearby competitors, I would have expected the quality and taste to be higher not lower. read more

Oh my goodness- their Salmon and green curry is to die for! It comes with a nice hefty portion of fish on top of a curry sauce and a side of jasmine rice. I ordered my medium because I like a little kick (medium means medium lol) and ended up finishing the whole dish. Our table also ordered some coconut ice cream and some Thai donuts and again I was blown away by the taste. Simple fresh ingredients and delicious food! I will be visiting again soon. read more
