It was pricier than our vet in Salem but they gave us an in depth diagnosis and follow up needs. Our dog has been doing better based on their recommendation and their follow up is awesome. I love this vet practice! All of the staff are lovely--so friendly and you can see they love animals. The atmosphere was mellow and no barking or crying animals. They were great with my rescue dog--lots of love and treats. She had to have a procedure on a couple of her nails and they were very clear in communicating the treatment plan. Late on a Saturday, our Husky yelped when her ear was touched while being pet. It was obvious after that moment, that she was hurting. After much googling to find somewhere to take her, we found Nimbus Pet Hospital was open on Sunday's so we gave them a call shortly after they opened. Even though she wasn't a patient at the clinic and they were fully booked, based on her symptoms, they agreed to fit her in, but we would need to drop her off for them to do so between appointments. They called, having already examined her, before we even made it home, for us to learn it was a 'critical' ear infection, and they recommended putting her slightly under to clean it deeply, among some other steps. We agreed and picked her up a few hours later. At pick up, Doc came out and spoke to us, and even called 2 weeks later just to check in on her. As the ear infection healed, we noted two other things that she had since her adoption healed/cleared as well, which was fantastic. This clinic was wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a vet. We are even discussing a switch since they are a short distance closer than our current vet office. read more

My wife and I spent a career going into literally thousands of medical offices across the country. One observation that always proved true was that if the front office staff was disorganized, curt, or in anyway unprofessional don't expect anything more from the primary members of the office. The staff at Nimbus was professional, personable, and project confidence to us in how our pet is going to be cared for. The office is clean, modern, and in a great location. When the doctor comes in and sits on the floor with our pet, it is done by someone who loves animals. You rarely see that type of connection. It adds up to a feeling of confidence in the staff being able to care for the pets that we love. Whoever hired the staff chose wisely because they were all friendly, professional, caring, and gave us every reason to feel confident in the care our pets will receive. This is one of the most caring veterinarians I've ever taken a pet to see. Their profile picture is a true representation of the connection they'll have with your fur baby. We had recently adopted a pup who needed flea preventative care and had never been seen by a vet. The entire team was so patient, kind, and supportive- from discussing the cost benefits of pet insurance to giving love and pet pets on the floor. We lost our dear pup tragically a few months following our initial visit. We received a card in the mail with messages from each member of the Nimbus team which brought so much comfort during such a sad time. We recently moved from Los Angeles and had to find a new vet. A good amount of research was done before choosing Nimbus and they have been amazing each time we've brought our dog to them. Our dog is a bit of an anxious and bigger dog, and it brought us comfort that their staff does training with how to handle anxious pets. My dog, who usually shakes when he goes to the vet, seems to be a bit more relaxed, which makes me happy. The doctors do not try an upsell you, which is very welcome, and are very caring, knowledgeable and straightforward when it comes to whether to provide treatment or not. Nimbus Pet Hospital took care of our 9-month old cat, identified symptoms, promptly called me to share the severity of the illness, which gave my family enough time to get there and give love to our kitty one last time before he died as humanely as possible. He had an aggressive cancer which was initially hard to diagnose as it looked like wet FIP. They had a well-known veterinarian who specializes in reading difficult X-rays, and were able to conclusively identify it as cancer. The Veterinarians kept us informed, were proactive and extremely loving and gentle with our kitten. We really appreciated their help. read more

What I loved most was they were able to get me in fairly quickly, the front desk people actually answered the phone and answered my questions, and on the day of our visit, showed such care for my reactive dog. As soon as we arrived, we were whisked into an exam room. As we were leaving, there was another dog checking out and they asked if we would be ok being in the same room as the other dog - my dog gets a little reactive, so for my sake, I usually prefer not to. I had an emergency with my dog and couldn't wait the 3 weeks to see our normal vet. I was able to get in right away to this brand new beautiful hospital. I saw Dr. Jaina and we absolutely LOVE her! We will continue to see her from now on. She was so loving and caring to my best fur friend and very patient with me. I was scared and overwhelmed but Dr. Jaina explained everything to me. I needed a same day appointment for my cat and they were able to get me in at 3. Upon arrival, I was checked into a room promptly and had a vet tech there in less than 5 minutes. About 5 mins after that the doctor was in. She told me what she was doing as she examined him and reassured me the whole time everything was normal. She took a sample of the hot spot on his leg and went to analyze it, and was back within 10 minutes. She was able to give me medication and a cone on the spot, and I was done by 3:40, all for about $200. Very kind staff who obviously love animals. Prompt and courteous with my time.
