    SAUSAGE BREAKFAST

Most of this 5 star review is for the owner Alex. I have tried to order from this place so many times via DoorDash but the restaurant has been going through some technical problems with them and haven't been receiving orders. I called the restaurant and Alex offered to make my order free of charge after I got a refund from DoorDash for the confusion. He is patient and understanding and had a great sense of humor about the situation that made my frustration ease up. I ordered the sausage breakfast burrito and the gaucha salad. When I tell you all that this was the best breakfast burrito I've ever had, I really mean it! It's made with crispy crunchy hash browns and ooey gooey cheese. Every bite made me sad because I had less of it to eat. To reiterate what some of the other reviewers noted, yes the burrito is on the smaller side but it's also only $6... quit your whining! It's 100% worth the cost. Highly recommend stopping here for the burrito. The salad wasn't all that special. Plenty of steak and the chimichurri paired well but could've used more sauce and it would've been *chefs kiss*

    Bacon breakfast burrito no beans

Happened to be in the area and needed a quick bite while waiting for a store to open. Thanks to yelp, stumbled on this business park gem. Convincing me that Mexican food is good outside of SoCal is like trying to convince me Bigfoot, I mean Darryl, exists. We've come across only a handful that have met our standards. Luckily, Maria Latina knocked it out the park. Bacon breakfast burrito w/out beans. It's tiny looking, but very gratifying. The hash browns are crisp. I don't know how many times I've had lifeless and flavorless undercooked hash browns in PDX that takes up space in my burrito. They take the cake here! Perfectly crisp, they add needed texture. The bacon bits are crisp as well, with no chewy fat whatsoever. The bees knees is the red salsa - not spicy, but packed with flavor. Come here if you are endlessly searching for a good breakfast burrito.

    Ensalada Gaucha Salad

I am so moved by the taste and freshness of their food! I had the ensalada gaucha with the green plantain. The meat was flavorful and the plantain cracker (tostones) was warm and crispy. They gave us a green salsa that was slightly tangy and the best topper for everything. We also got the Saltado and the beef was flavorful and tender. I'm just so impressed by the quality of the ingredients here! Perfect balanced, summer food. When you go inside, order first at the counter and then sit down where you will be served or given your order to go. Employees are really kind too!

Tiny little shop, you'll miss it if you don't look for it. But their salads are so delicious! Huge portions and everything tastes so fresh. I'm usually not a huge fan of sweet plantains (which came with my salad) but I actually really enjoyed the entire meal. I got the ensalada de pollo asado which came with a delicious mango salsa! Would recommend and would come again!

Menu has a lot of Delicious Peruvian options including some diverse Pisco Sour Peruvian drinks. We were seated immediately and our order was taken promptly when we were ready to order. For drinks we had the Maracuya Juice and the Chicha Pisco Sour. It was very smooth. For food we ordered Chaufa Rice with Seafood, Pescado Saltado and Ceviche Mixto. Each dish was pretty big, even to share and take home. Flavor was exactly like Peruvian food should taste (my mom is Peruvian and I have been in Peru a few times). Definitely one of the best Peruvian restaurants in Portland/Beaverton area.

Sharing a large parking lot in a strip mall, the restaurant had simple decor apart from the wall art and the service was friendly and warm. Starting with a Corona served with ice-frosted mugs, warm bread with butter was served as a complimentary appetizer. The mixed seafood Cerviche was just bursting with flavor in its vinegary goodness, packed with fresh seafood. I had the deep-fried ribeye with pesto spaghetti. Portion was huge! Meat was thin and medium rare (perfect), and i could not finish the spaghetti which was tasty enough to be a dish on its own. We finished with a flan and tres leches (forgot the pics). Talk about going out with flair!

Cerdo frito w/ Tostones ($13.95) - The dish comes with eight pieces of seasoned and deep fried pork. It's fried long enough to make it crisp but dries out the interior. The rich seasoning, salty with a lime salt-like tang, creates a red colored skin over the meat. The fried meat is served on a bed of red beans and rice. It's seasoned well and has a good bitey texture. I ordered the cerdo frito with tostones. They include three pieces that aren't nearly as smashed and thin as others I've eaten. This means they are able to show a more tender and starchy interior rather than being almost completely crispy throughout. They are quite interesting in that they puff up like pita bread, leaving an air pocket in the center. They top the tostones with a bit of crumbled salty cheese and some salsa. Unfortunately these two elements soak into the tostones a little, causing them to become somewhat soggy. There's a tiny side of slaw, less than a small ice cream scoops worth. It's filled with crunchy vegetables and is in a really sweet dressing. I wonder if they purchase it in bulk from the Reser's down the street. (4/5) Overall, my meal at Casa Latina was a nice way to refill before our drive back up to Seattle.
