Highly Recommend this place!!! I needed a battery for my 2012 Apple MacBook Pro. I called Apple and they advised me to go to Best Buy! Best Buy said they do not replace batteries in Apple products and suggested I call Mac Media. I went on Yelp and found Apple Xchange and called them immediately! I drove to this place and they were able to help me that day. This place is very clean, everyone wears masks and their rates were very reasonable. I recently went to fix my iPhone 5 screen because my 2 year old son through it and broke it also dented the bottom a little and they did fix it but the button kept getting stuck underneath The screen and I popped it out so it would work and the screen cracked I took it to a different place for an estimate because I had already paid $89 to this store The other company told me that this absolutely would be under warranty because it was put on wrong you could see very clearly that it had not been fixed right I took it back to Apple exchange they were very rude they did not value the warranty even though It had only been a couple days I am very upset and feel I got cheated out of my money and warranty I paid a lot of money compared to what other companies charge.. I spoke to the sales men and also the manager I asked if I could speak to the owner and he said why all he's gonna do is tell you the same thing!! I am very disappointed as I am a nurse by trade but not able to work due to some medical issues with my son so bottom line women if you are trying to get your phone fixed I would definitely suggest you don't go to this company as they seem to only respond well to men I felt degraded I felt cheated and now I am with a phone that is going to not work any second and it's pretty sad because what I read on this page regarding the owner he seems like a pretty standup guy and would hopefully do the right thing but unfortunately they denied me the chance to even do that very sad very sexist and made me feel like oh well they already got my money....they don't want to do any extra work to value their warranty!! I requested information online, and they responded within minutes. I thought my charging port went bad. I brought it into the store later that day so they could examine my phone that wasn't charging. Staff was as helpful as they could be... I got turned away because my iPhone had water damage, even though it's been working fine for a year and half since I dropped it in water, they said that I couldn't get the front screen replaced because of the water damage.. what does that have to do with the screen??? Anyway, went to a place down the street, they fixed it in 10 minutes for $40 cheaper than what this place was trying to charge me AND they said it'd take 3 hours until they had it done... no thank you! This company is under new management. They tried to give me $600 for the newest MacBook Pro space gray with touch bar. Keep in mind this is listed on the Apple website as $1500. When I asked how they came up with $600 they said they go to the refurbished site. When we looked together they show them being sold for $1269. The manager then said he has no answer for why he is offering me that amount. Save your time and just go to Apple directly they will give you the actual value you deserve. Never again will I do business with them again, and best believe all my referrals will know this experience. read more

I took advantage of the $10 for $20 Yelp deal to have my iPhone 5C screen replaced. I have come in for my MacBook Pro as well. They are completely transparent with their costs and when telling you what is wrong with your device. They use genuine parts and replaced my iPhone 5C's screen very quickly. I have taken my MacBook Pro in on multiple occasions but have left each time without getting it repaired here. The cost was simply not worth the fix and it would have been more cost effective just buying a new computer. When my WiFi went out on my Mac, they even told me of a cheap workaround that would save me hundreds of dollars if I could find the right device for it. read more

I just wanted to share some great customer service that I got today at The Apple Xchange. I have an iPhone 5s that I am quite happy with but, given its age, the battery was starting to give me problems. In March, I shopped around and had The Apple Xchange put a new battery in. At $32.43 (including tax), it was significantly less costly than going to Apple so I decided to give them a shot. At first, the battery performed perfectly well. However, it soon started to degrade (i.e., didn't last as long) but so slowly that I wondered if I was imagining it. I tried a number of things (e.g., dimming the screen, conscientiously closing apps, etc) over time to make it last longer but without any noticeable improvement. In the last few days, things went downhill much more rapidly and today I went back to the store to see what their thoughts were. Almost immediately, the Apple Xchange people noticed that the battery was "bulging" (clearly, not good). Although it seemed like only a few weeks since I had bought the battery, it had actually been 6 months. Even though I was well outside the 90 day warranty period, the store manager generously replaced the defective battery at no cost. I never expect everything with purchases to go perfectly but what really distinguishes the positive from the negative experiences is how problems are handled. I was really pleased at how promptly and professionally they handled my situation and how generous they were to cover the cost. I think it was the right thing to do but they would have been well within their rights not to. Clearly, I will be returning when I need service in the future and have already recommended them to others. read more

I took my iMac in to get an SSD drive put in, and it was cheap and perfectly done. I have taken several phones in to get the screens replaced and it only takes 20-30 mins! The phones always work great and it's so much cheaper than getting a new phone or going to the Genius Bar. I would trust my apple repairs with any other company! read more

They were of great help in figuring out why my iMac was crashing after an SSD and clean OS installation. Diagnosis was very quick; turns out the iMac had bad RAM modules, which they were able to replace in house. After pinpointing the issue and re-installing the OS, I was able to get my computer back in a couple of hours and at a reasonable price. We bought a waterproof phone case from the store, but when we installed the phone the mute switch did not work. We took the phone back for either an exchange or refund. The store did not have any other waterproof cases, so we requested a refund. The salesman was at first reluctant to provide the refund as the packaging had been "opened." After deciding that neither the packaging nor the case showed any evidence of use, plus the fact that the case was defective, we did get a refund. read more

The other day I dropped my iPhone 4S and cracked my screen. Since I had insurance, I went into Verizon first. They told me it would be a $169.00 deductible. Shocked and disappointed with Verizon I decided to call Apple Exchange. They were great and gave me a $75.00 price to fix my screen. Happily, I went down and had it fixed. The gentlemen who were working there were friendly and knowledgable. They took care of me right away. My screen was cracked after my puppy decided to use my iPhone as a chew toy :/ I had met one of the owners through a networking group and decided to take the drive up to have it repaired when I found out that I wasn't eligible for an upgrade just yet. They took care of getting the repair done quickly and while I waited. Great experience and I would definitely recommend them to a friend (and actually did so a few hours later). Shattered my iPhone 5s screen. Not fun. Came to Apple Exchange based off yelp reviews. Price: new iPhone 5s screen is $49. Labor for this service is $50. So with the yelp deal I ended up paying $93 total including tax for a new phone screen. The service I received was less than excellent. The first time I came in, dropped it off and they said to come back in 45 minutes and it will be all good. I came back in 45 minutes and had to wait another 10 minutes for it to finish. He brings it out to me and the front facing camera isn't working (and it was working perfectly fine albeit the cracked screen when I dropped it off). No worries, he said, they will fix it, so I have to come back before they close at 3. Alright. Come back to get my phone, this is the 3rd time I've been there that day, everything looks fine and I have places to be so I leave. Then I start texting and realize the "p"on my keyboard isn't working. There's a thin line on the right side of my phone and basically the right edge of my phone screen is a dead zone. I called them before they close Saturday and they say bring it in Monday for us to fix since we are closed tomorrow, and it's covered under the warranty. Alright, fine. So I come back in Monday and drop off the phone. 4th time here. They say it will take 45min to an hour to fix so I go to the gym down the street in the meantime. Come back for my 5th time in 3 days and it's finally fixed and working properly. Now my phone is working great but the process to get here was less than smooth. Thankfully I live close so it wasn't the biggest hassle/inconvenience ever. I'm just not very impressed with the service I got. read more

I went to Apple XChange after i dropped my iphone and shattered the back glass. I had previously used another store, MacMasters, up in Scottsdale who charged me over 200 bucks just to do a diagnostic check on my old iphone when that wasnt working, and on top of that they had terrible customer service. Apple Xchange was the exact opposite. The customer service is great, and the prices are extremely fair. I originally had intended just to replace the broken back, but instead got a full color conversion for about 100 bucks that was done in less than an hour. Cory used to work for Apple, so the service is guaranteed to be good quality. You get the expertise of an Apple tech at more reasonable prices and better service. I highly recommend this store to anyone who needs their Apple products to be serviced. read more

I'm adjusting my rating based on a more recent encounter. Came in to buy a lighting cable for my phone. It was hard to find, $8 more than on amazon, and they didn't have a bathroom ... but, hey, I wanted to buy local. However, when it came time to check out .... Things went into a downward spiral. The guy at the register had no clue of what he was doing. Had to wait 5 min for another guy to get off the phone to talk him thru each step of the process. Couldn't find the product in their system, manually typing in the SKU number, and the kicker was when they manually started typing in my credit card info. It's a technology store ... GET SOME TECHNOLOGY! I grabbed my credit card and left without buying anything. Train your employees on your own time. Not sure I'll be back anytime soon. read more
