My 40th birthday was adults only, no kids, and he put on a very entertaining show geared towards adults. Some of my guests made fun of me for hiring a magician for my adult birthday party but once they saw him perform they were so captivated by him and said it was a great addition to the party. The Arty Loon show was amazing!! I had 33 kids ranging in ages 1 to 17 and around 30 adults at my daughter's 11th birthday party. I was worried the teens in the group would be hard to please but Arty had them laughing hysterically along with the little kids and adults. He performed a 45 minute magic act and stayed after to make balloon animals for the kids. He is very creative with his balloon shapes--he made them free form as they were being requested from the kids. My 4 year old daughter asked for a Hello Kitty and I tried to correct her to ask for a kitty and Arty ended up making her a Hello Kitty anyway. (I posted a picture) His card trick where the card rises up magically out of the paper was the one that amazed the adult audience the most. Terrific magician and terrific show. I booked Arty Loon for my son's first birthday party over the weekend, and he was a HUGE hit! I found him on GigMasters and really liked the videos and reviews, so I decided to give him a try. He and his staff were really great at answering our questions, and booking was very easy. I like the fact that he has different type of packages to choose from, which customizes his act to the kind of party that you're having. On the day of the party, he arrived on time with a whole set up that looked very impressive and professional... I mean like a REAL show, not some rinky dink entertainer who works out of his car. He set up on the lawn of my party, and the kids loved it. He had them engaged from the moment he set up, and he also had the parents laughing as well. He was really good at using audience participation. Even my 1 year old son found him to be very entertaining. After the magic show, he did 30 minutes of balloon animals, which the kids loved. All the kids were walking around with really cute balloon animals, headbands, bracelets, hats, etc/ for the rest of the party.
